Black Wind Village is a backward and impoverished place. The Ma family is spoken of by everyone in the village. After having five sons, the 40-year-old woman of the Ma family became pregnant again....
As dawn broke, when Ma Lihua got up to take a medicinal bath, she saw Cui Gu lying on the ground.
Suddenly, Cui Gu woke up completely.
Her eyes were filled with gold, but it wasn't a dazzling, bright light; rather, it carried an eerie darkness, like a bottomless golden vortex that seemed to suck everything around it into it.
There was still a hint of bewilderment in his eyes, as if he had just returned from a chaotic world and had not yet fully adapted to the reality before him.
That bewilderment wasn't the innocent naivety of a child, but rather a look of confusion mixed with unknown fear, which sent chills down one's spine.
Cui Gu's body was burning hot, filled with a scorching heat, as if a raging fire was burning inside her.
Her skin had an unusual flush, as if every inch of it had been roasted by fire. Heat continuously rose from her pores, forming a thin layer of mist that surrounded her.
Her lips were chapped, yet they gleamed with an eerie crimson, as if she had just drunk blood. Her tongue unconsciously licked her lips, the movement slow and mechanical, as if controlled by some unseen force.
Her hair was scattered messily over her shoulders, each strand trembling slightly as if struck by an electric current, shimmering with an eerie light.
The light echoed the gold in her eyes, making her look like a demon crawling out of the depths of hell.
Cui Gu slowly raised her hands, the skin on which was an abnormal red, with clearly visible veins, like winding earthworms wriggling under the skin.
Her fingers were bent, and her knuckles made a "crackling" sound, as if they might break at any moment.
She tried to stand up, but her body swayed unsteadily, like a puppet that had lost its balance.
His steps were unsteady, and with each step he left a deep footprint on the ground, the ground around the footprint instantly turning black, as if it had been scorched by high temperatures.
The surrounding air was distorted by her heat, and light refracted through this distorted air, creating strange colors.
The once quiet room was now filled with her heavy breathing, which sounded like a howling wind or the low growl of a beast.
Cui Gu made some indistinct sounds as she stepped out of the room.
Ma Hehua, who had just finished using the toilet, was almost scared to death. "Damn it, what is this thing?" Without saying a word, she pressed down on Cui Gu.
Ma Linghua also woke up, awakened by a strange fragrance.
"Golden Cicada Gu".
As he spoke, he ran towards Ma Hehua's room at an extremely fast speed.
"Ah...ah...ah..." Cui Gu rolled around like a wounded wild beast, but she couldn't break free from Ma Hehua's control no matter what she did.
"Mother, you're here. What happened to her?" Ma Hehua asked.
“She’s been possessed by the Golden Cicada Gu.” Ma Linghua looked at her chest and her mother’s angry eyes, both of which were filled with gold. She figured that she was still able to resist and must still be conscious.
“We have to save her,” Ma Linghua said.
"How do we save her?" Ma Hehua glanced at Cui Gu. How could they save her like this?
"Find a rope and tie her up."
"Okay, Mom!"
Ma Hehua took out a rope made of some unknown material from the bag at her waist and tied Cui Gu directly to the wooden post.
When Ma Lihua returned, she saw Cui Gu, dressed in a stark white robe, tied to a pillar. She glanced at her and noticed worms in her chest.
Her hand was starting to feel out of control; she wanted to kill this thing!
"Grandma, this Granny Cui has lost her mind, how are we supposed to eat?" Ma Lihua asked, her voice trembling with anguish.
Ma Hehua glanced at Xuanming, who was nailing the table, and Ma Linghua also glanced at him.
Xuanming: "???"
What are you all watching it do? You can't expect a mere ape to cook, can you?
Just thinking about that scene sent a chill down its spine.
"What are you looking at? I can't cook. You bunch of old women can't cook, and you expect others to cook for you? Go hungry!" After putting away the hammer, he ran away as fast as he could.
Ma Lihua pulled a lighter out of her backpack. "Grandma, use this!"
Ma Linghua took the lighter and headed towards the kitchen, but strangely, the lighter wouldn't light.
The three of them: "…………………………"
You think you can stump them? That's impossible.
So the three of them decided to go to Cui Gu's house and use her kitchen.
The three of them swaggered into Cui Gu's house. As soon as they pushed open the door, a strong, nauseating smell of blood hit them.
On the ground, shocking blood flowed freely, forming dark red pools, as if telling the story of a fierce battle.
Their gazes were drawn to the bloodstains on the ground, and a sense of doubt arose in their hearts.
However, what is even more bizarre is that amidst the bloodshed, a strong musky scent permeated the area around the house.
The smell was rich and unique, and when mixed with the stench of blood, it created an extremely strange aroma.
The musky scent seemed to possess some mysterious power, causing the three of them to involuntarily experience some strange sensations.
Ma Linghua and Ma Hehua's heartbeats gradually quickened, their breathing became rapid, and a strange heat rose within their bodies.
They realized that the musky scent seemed to have an aphrodisiac effect.
Ma Lihua couldn't help but cover her mouth and nose, trying to block the invasion of this smell, but the fragrance seemed to have a penetrating power that reached straight into her nasal cavity.
Ma Hehua's face was flushed, and her eyes revealed a hint of confusion and struggle as she tried to suppress her body's instinctive reactions.
"Mother, Grandmother, quickly cover your noses, this musk smells strange." Ma Lihua immediately sensed that something was wrong.
