The three of them, dressed in very rustic clothes, arrived at the foot of the capital. When Ma Hehua saw them, she felt as if she were in a dream. The last time she came, the place was still very old and worn, but this time she didn't recognize them at all.

"Hey! Dad, Mom's here, be careful."

Sanmao made a phone call and said something inexplicable, leaving Li Fagui somewhat bewildered.

However, being as clever as he was, he quickly understood what Sanmao meant, which was that his wife was coming.

He had to hurry back and tell his father this good news; he couldn't let his father be the only one happy.

"Uncle Fu! Have you seen the old man?"

Uncle Fu paused in his lawn mowing. "Young Master, have you forgotten? Master went to play chess and said he won't be back for dinner!"

"Really?" Li Fagui couldn't remember. His outsourcing company had been doing very well lately, keeping him busy with his employees, so he probably really forgot.

"Wang Ma, what's for breakfast this morning?"

"Mr. Li, we'll have stir-fried bamboo shoots with pork and chicken stew with mushrooms."

Li Fagui nodded, and then prepared to make a phone call. Just then, the front gate of the courtyard house flew up. He was so frightened that he immediately hid behind Wang Ma as a conditioned reflex.

Wang Ma: "……………………"

Three figures could be vaguely seen appearing at the doorway.

Li Fagui was overjoyed when he saw who it was.

"Mother, you're here. Where's Lotus?"

Of the three people, there was no lotus flower. Also, his daughter has grown up and is really pretty.

"Clap clap clap!"

The three crisp slaps left Li Fagui dazed. Looking at the woman who had hit him, he felt a surge of anger.

"Who are you? You dare hit me? Don't think I won't lay a hand on you just because you're good-looking."

"Li Fagui, you really have changed your mind."

When the woman's voice came out, "Lotus...lotus?" Li Fagui was somewhat incredulous.

"Did this... was this a trip abroad for cosmetic surgery?"

Li Fagui's eyes widened, his face filled with astonishment.

Before he could recover from his shock, Ma Hehua pounced on him like an angry little lion.

She leaped up and landed precisely on Li Fagui's back.

In that instant, Li Fagui felt a weight on his body, as if a small mountain had pressed down on him. Ma Hehua's eyes burned with raging anger, and her fists rained down like raindrops.

"Smack!"

The first punch landed on Li Fagui's shoulder with such force that Li Fagui's body jolted violently.

He was about to retaliate when a second punch followed.

"Bang!"

The punch landed on his chest, and Li Fagui felt a dull pain, almost unable to breathe.

Ma Hehua's punches were fast and fierce, each punch carrying her anger and grievances.

"You heartless bastard!" she yelled as she hit him, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Smack!"

The third punch landed on Li Fagui's face, and his cheeks immediately turned red.

Li Fagui was beaten so badly that he was completely disoriented and had no chance to fight back.

Ma Hehua's long hair danced in the wind, her eyes filled with determination.

"I've given so much for you, and you dare to change your mind!" Her voice trembled, filled with disappointment and sadness.

Li Fagui wanted to explain, but Ma Hehua didn't give him a chance at all.

Her fists rained down on him like a storm.

"Bang bang bang!"

Each punch was filled with her anger and pain, as if she wanted to vent all the grievances she had accumulated over the past few days.

Li Fagui could only passively endure the beating, his mind filled with questions.

Everyone around was stunned. Wang Ma's mouth dropped open, and she didn't know what to do.

Uncle Fu was also startled by the scene. He shouted, "Madam, please stop hitting her. Is there some misunderstanding?"

But Ma Hehua couldn't listen anymore; her heart was filled with anger and disappointment.

Finally, Ma Hehua got tired and stopped, sitting on the ground panting.

Li Fagui's face was flushed, and he was in pain all over his body.

He looked at Ma Hehua, his heart filled with sadness and resentment.

"Lotus, why...why did you hit me? What did I do wrong? You came and hit me without saying a word, sob sob sob..."

His voice was hoarse, filled with deep grievance.

Ma Hehua wiped away her tears and glared at him fiercely: "What else do you have to explain? You're keeping me as a mistress, what's wrong with that?"

Li Fagui was stunned. A mistress?

He was completely loyal to Hehua and would never cheat on her. Besides, he had children and a happy family, and he was perfectly content living off a woman, so why would he possibly keep a mistress?

Seeing his bewildered expression, Ma Hehua regained some composure. "Are you really that clueless, or are you just pretending?"

"Lotus! Heaven and earth can bear witness to my heart for you. If I were to cheat on you, my whole family would suffer a terrible fate."

Ma Linghua: "…………………………"

"Really?" Ma Hehua asked uncertainly.

"Who told you I'm keeping a mistress?" He looked gloomy as he recalled the phone call Sanmao made earlier that day. "Was it Sanmao?" he asked, looking pitiful.

"It's the headline!" Ma Hehua now looked proud, beautiful, and charming, with a touch of allure amidst her wickedness.

Li Fagu was stunned for a moment, then stammered, his hands trembling as he took out his phone and scrolled through Toutiao (a Chinese news and information platform).

Sure enough, he saw a woman he loathed.

“Lotus, let me explain. It was this shameless woman who seduced me. This is a picture of her harassing me, which I rejected, and then I slapped her.”

Li Fagui spoke pitifully, and then, in order to clear his name, he said he could go to the hospital to get proof that he had never had sexual intercourse.
