Chapter Fifty-Four: A Bizarre Combined Family

After most of the zombies were lured away, the group began to clear out the zombies in the village. Then, they dragged the surviving villagers out of their homes one by one and brought them to the square in front of the ancestral hall.

“They don’t want money, they just want food from home,” Han Yuting said, her eyes vacant.

Most of the villagers were wealthy, and at first they thought they had been robbed. The image of that blood-red gourd-like man being dragged along by the entire village, followed by a group of monsters, was still vivid in their minds, and the surviving villagers were terrified.

I initially thought they wouldn't kill anyone from the start, so offering them money would ensure their safety. Little did I know, these people didn't want the money, they wanted the person!
