Chapter 277 Extra: Kazmir - Beauty Falls, Twilight Buries

Nine years ago—

Glacier Ballet Troupe, a southern border town of the Beisha Kingdom.

Ballet Prince Mikhail gave his final performance of the ballet "Spring Love".

When the news was announced, Mikhail's fans in the Beisha Islands and even around the world were in an uproar.

They did not expect that Mikhail, who was only 23 years old, would suddenly announce his retirement without giving any reason.

Rumors immediately spread online, various conspiracy theories arose, and some fans even launched a campaign to condemn Mikhail.

Amidst a flurry of comments, Mikhail announced his farewell performance – "Spring Love".

This was also his first time playing the male lead in a ballet when he was sixteen years old.

The last time, it was still this piece.

Despite the tears and complaints, the dance troupe's tickets still sold out quickly.

Countless fans traveled from afar to watch Mikhail's final performance, trying to hold onto this ballet icon with their passion.

"Spring Love" was scheduled for 7 pm, but the night before, the open space outside the Glacier Grand Theatre was already full of fans.

They couldn't get tickets, but they still wanted to come here to see each other one last time.

At 10 a.m., the Glacier Ballet's convoy arrived.

Mikhail's iconic ice-blue moon-painted hovercar slowly drove in and was immediately surrounded by a crowd.

Security personnel were prepared and set up partitions to stop people from rushing forward, but they couldn't stop people from shouting themselves hoarse.

The car door opened, and a male actor with slightly wavy blond hair stepped out first. A small murmur rang out from the crowd, calling his name.

He is another well-known dancer in the Glacier Ballet Company – Yaroslav.

Most people online believe that Yaroslav will be the new chief after Mikhail's retirement.

Yaroslav has a puppy-like appearance, with golden, slightly curly hair and purple eyes, making him look like a well-behaved and precious little lamb.

He had just smiled when a series of heart-wrenching screams erupted around him, drowning out his smile and the fans. He turned around and saw Mikhail.

He wore very ordinary gray trousers and a white hooded sweatshirt, with dark brown hair and glacial-colored eyes, unlike the typical dark brown hair of the Beisha people.

He got out of the car and stood still amidst a tidal wave of enthusiastic cheers. He reached out, pulled down the hood of his sweatshirt, and revealed a face of mixed North and Central Asian descent.

His features are three-dimensional and deep, typical of people from Beisha, yet his eyes and brows carry a hint of languor, revealing the noble air of a young nobleman from the Central Plains.

His naturally smiling lips make it seem as if he's gazing at you with tender affection whenever he slightly raises his eyes.

Just like that ever-circulating saying online:

"My husband looks at dogs with such affection."

Mikhail possesses a contradictory quality.

He was as quiet as ice, as aloof as the moon, and as pure as snow, seemingly keeping everyone at arm's length.

But when he looks at you seriously, you feel that he is just the right amount of gentlemanly restraint.

This kind of charm has captivated a large number of fans.

Mikhail waved lazily at them, a smile playing on his lips, humble and gentle, yet aloof and detached.

Mikhail walked inside amidst the crowd.

Stepping into the elevator, Yaroslav and Mikhail stood side by side. Yaroslav suddenly chuckled and said:

"Your popularity is still so high. I'm afraid all of us here combined can't compare to your popularity."

The other people in the elevator remained silent. Mikhail leaned against the cold wall, not even lifting his eyelids: "You're quite self-aware."

Mikhail used the Mandarin Chinese of China to describe the phrase “self-awareness”.

"What?" Yaroslav didn't understand, but his intuition told him it wasn't good news.

The others went down to the previous floor, while the two of them went up to the dressing room on the next floor to prepare.

Now that only the two of them were left, Yaroslav suddenly smiled strangely and patted Mikhail on the shoulder:

"Brother, I hope you enjoy today's...last performance!"

After saying that, the elevator arrived, and Yaroslav walked out.

Mikhail curled his lip, showing him no emotion whatsoever.

He stepped outside, brushing past a man and a woman. Mikhail glanced at them.

Because both of them were from the Central Plains.

The man was in his twenties, refined and courteous, and looked like a nobleman's butler.

The other person was a little girl who was only ten years old. She was young and cute, but when they met eyes, there was a fierce look in her eyes.

Mikhail didn't think much of it and turned to leave.

As the elevator doors closed, the butler-like man leaned down and said to the girl, "Young Master, that man was the ballet prince Mikhail."

"It's him?" The girl crossed her arms in front of her, her posture exuding arrogance. "I don't feel anything."

The butler chuckled: "If things hadn't happened so suddenly that you had to return to District Nine, you wouldn't have missed this performance. Mikhail's abilities are beyond question."

"We're not meant to be," the girl said calmly.

Seeing that she had no interest in the topic of Mikhail, the butler did not bring it up again.

The girl suddenly asked, "How is Fuguang?"

"Young Master, what did you say?"

The girl's cold gaze fell on the butler's smiling face: "You can't hide it from me. Don't you know your smile is fake?"

The butler's smile froze slightly, but he didn't say anything.

The girl narrowed her eyes slightly, exuding an air of superior authority: "If you don't say it, I'll call you Sister Ye."

The steward immediately knelt down: "Chang Le, I'm sorry, it's not that I intentionally concealed it, it's just that His Majesty the Dragon Emperor forbids us from saying it."
