Choices in the Fog

Ayu and Lin Yu stood in the dimly lit alley, the surrounding silence making them feel uneasy. The meeting with the person in charge of the mysterious force they had just met weighed heavily on their hearts.

"Lin Yu, do we really have to agree? This feels like groping in the dark, with no idea what awaits us ahead." Ayu frowned, her eyes filled with worry. A gentle breeze ruffled her hair, but it couldn't dispel the gloom in her heart.

Ayu and Lin Yu exchanged a glance, both shocked. The difficulty and danger of this mission far exceeded their expectations.

"This is no easy feat. How can we guarantee that we can get close to him and gain his trust? And if he discovers our intentions, the consequences will be unimaginable," Lin Yu said, frowning.

The person in charge patted Lin Yu on the shoulder, "This is the problem you need to figure out how to solve. But don't worry, we will assist you secretly and provide some necessary intelligence and support. As long as you can complete the mission, we will not only share all the information about the mysterious organization, but also use all resources to help Ayu find out about her background."

“My name is Ayu. I’ve recently become very interested in art investment. I’ve heard that Mr. Chen has a lot of insights in this area, so I would like to ask you for some advice.” Ayu answered skillfully, trying her best to make her tone sound natural and sincere.

Chen Feng smiled and said, "So it's Miss Ayu. You're too kind. There are quite a few things to consider when it comes to art investment. We can talk about it together."

And so, Ayu and Chen Feng began chatting smoothly, with Lin Yu adding a few words from the side to make the conversation flow even better. After the auction, Chen Feng seemed to have a good impression of Ayu and even exchanged contact information, saying that they could discuss art investment projects together in the future.

When Ayu and Lin Yu left the auction, they felt a mix of joy, feeling they had taken a crucial first step, and worry, unsure how to further gain Chen Feng's trust and obtain the encrypted hard drive.
