On her first day of work, Xiao Xin offended Fu Yan, the eldest son of the Fu Group. It was rumored that this eldest son of the Fu family had a violent temper, and no one dared to approach within te...
Fu Yan's voice was low, husky, and magnetic, carrying a dangerous allure.
Xiao Xin swallowed slightly, looking into his eyes, and said, "I just wanted to keep you cold..."
Before he could even utter the word "quiet," Fu Yan grabbed his chin and, without a word, sealed his lips with hers.
Fu Yan only released Xiao Xin temporarily when Xiao Xin was out of breath, whispering in his ear, "Brother, my injury won't affect you..."
Xiao Xin's face was flushed red from lack of oxygen. He took two deep breaths and said, "There are surveillance cameras here..."
Fu Yan's teeth brushed against his earlobe. "No, I had them removed. I knew you'd come to see me, so I left..."
Xiao Xin: "Fu Yan, don't do this, we've already...uh..."
Xiao Xin was suddenly bitten on the ear by sharp teeth, and he instinctively turned his head away.
Seeing that he was behaving himself, Fu Yan turned Xiao Xin's chin and made him look at him. "If you say those two words again, I won't be polite."
Xiao Xin's eyes flashed with anger, "Fu Yan, let me go..."
Fu Yan relentlessly gnawed at his collarbone, "It's no use, even if you beg me, it's no use..."
He used his knee to pry Xiao Xin's legs apart, then suddenly laughed, "My body is much more honest than my mouth..."
Xiao Xin felt a surge of anger rising in his chest, his chest heaving.
Fu Yan continued to tease him, breathing hot air into his ear: "Brother Mingming wants me too, why aren't you honest, hmm?"
Xiao Xin: "*"
Fu Yan chuckled: "Hmm? Brother, you want me to *you*?"
Xiao Xin took a breath, barely suppressing his anger: "I'll say it one last time, get out of the way."
Beneath the calm tone lay a surging rage, which Fu Yan sensed, but he simply wouldn't let go.
Seeing that he showed no sign of stopping, Xiao Xin suddenly said, "Fu Yan, I don't love you anymore..."
Fu Yan's hand, which had slid down to his waist, paused and suddenly withdrew.
He raised his hand and pinched Xiao Xin's chin, looking down at him coldly: "If you don't love me, then who do you love?"
Xiao Xin's eyes reddened, and hot tears welled up: "If you want me to hate you, then continue."
Fu Yan looked at Xiao Xin's red eyes and felt a pang in her heart. She released Xiao Xin's chin and raised her hand to wipe away the tears from the corners of his eyes.
"How much does my brother want to break up with me to be so heartless as to say such a thing to me?" He didn't understand, but he vaguely felt that Xiao Xin had his reasons.
It's still the kind of thing I can't tell him.
Xiao Xin bit her lip, turned her face away to look at the gift box on the bedside table, and said, "Get out of the way, I'm leaving."
Fu Yan stared at his profile for a moment, then finally let go of him.
Just as Xiao Xin was about to get up, a hand suddenly wrapped around his waist from behind, pulling him into a warm chest.
Xiao Xin, with his back to him, said coldly, "Let go."
If he stays any longer, he'll be the one who goes crazy.
"Stay with me for one more day, okay?" Fu Yan lowered her head to his back and pleaded softly.
Xiao Xin raised her hand to wipe away her tears, just about to break free from him.
Fu Yan tightened her grip on his waist. "Spend one more day with me, and I'll agree to break up."
Xiao Xin suddenly stopped struggling.
Seeing that he had stopped moving, Fu Yan rubbed his forehead against his back and said, "You don't have to do anything, just stay with me quietly, okay?"
Xiao Xin stopped talking and let him hug her, which was taken as tacit agreement.
Fu Yan pulled the blanket over himself and then hugged Xiao Xin back into his arms.
The blankets soon became warm, and Fu Yan's body heat flowed into him through the fabric, making Xiao Xin sleepy in no time.
Xiao Xin hadn't slept well last night, and after Fu Yan's antics, she fell asleep in less than five minutes.
Fu Yan listened to his even breathing and gently kissed the back of his neck.
From the moment Xiao Xin came in, he noticed the dark circles under Xiao Xin's eyes, making him look listless and like he hadn't slept well.
Fu Yan looked at the mango cake on the bedside table and said to the air, "You must be very sad about breaking up with me, right..."
Xiao Xin was asleep, so naturally he didn't hear what he said, and no one answered him.
Fu Yan leaned against Xiao Xin's back, hugged him tightly, and closed his eyes to fall asleep.
The afternoon sunlight streamed in through the window, adding a touch of charm to the tranquil room.
Soon, the room became so quiet that only shallow breathing could be heard.
...
As soon as Mo Xuan and Qiao Chen stepped out of the hospital elevator, they saw Jiang Yuqing sitting on a chair in the lobby.
Jiang Yuqing sat gracefully on the bench, looking down at her wristwatch, as if waiting for someone.
He looked up and saw Mo Xuan and Qiao Chen walking in his direction.
Mo Xuan originally wanted to pretend he didn't see him, but when he passed in front of Jiang Yuqing, Jiang Yuqing suddenly stretched out her foot.
Mo Xuan stumbled forward and almost fell to the ground.
Jiang Yuqing covered her mouth and chuckled as she watched his comical actions.
Mo Xuan steadied himself, turned around, grabbed Jiang Yuqing by the collar, and walked into the hospital corridor.
Qiao Chen glanced at them both with a puzzled look, then turned and left.
Mo Xuan led Jiang Yuqing to the small balcony at the end of the corridor.
He pressed Jiang Yuqing's shoulder and pushed him against the wall, leaning over him with one hand: "You're asking for trouble, aren't you?"
Jiang Yuqing grabbed his collar, slowly leaned closer to him, stopped a centimeter away from his lips, and said slowly, "Where is the thing I asked you to get?"
Their breaths mingled, and he lowered his eyes to examine the face so close to his, tentatively moving closer to Jiang Yuqing.
Jiang Yuqing reflexively stepped back.
Mo Xuan stopped his probing movements and chuckled.
The lip stud on the tip of his tongue gleamed in the darkness, and his gaze toward Jiang Yuqing was like that of a wolf eyeing its prey.
"You won't give me what I want, so why should I give it to you?" Mo Xuan said.
