On her first day of work, Xiao Xin offended Fu Yan, the eldest son of the Fu Group. It was rumored that this eldest son of the Fu family had a violent temper, and no one dared to approach within te...
As he approached the ward door, two bodyguards respectfully greeted him, "Mr. Xiao."
Xiao Xin nodded, pushed open the door, and went inside.
Fu Yan was sitting on the sofa, staring blankly at the food in front of him.
Xiao Xin walked closer and saw that all the food on the table had gone cold, but not a single grain of rice had been lost from the bowls.
He asked Fu Yan, "Why didn't you eat?"
Fu Yan remained motionless, as if he hadn't heard him speak, and didn't answer him.
Xiao Xin shook her head helplessly and sat down next to Fu Yan.
As soon as he sat down, Fu Yan moved to the other side, creating distance between himself and Xiao Xin.
Xiao Xin had been running around all morning, and his forehead was a little sore.
Fu Yan's outburst left him completely bewildered.
Xiao Xin moved closer to Fu Yan, their fingertips just centimeters apart.
Fu Yan was about to move to the side again when Xiao Xin suddenly grabbed his hand: "What's wrong with you now?"
Fu Yan stared blankly at the hand Xiao Xin was using to cover the back of his hand, without saying a word.
Xiao Xin followed his gaze and realized that he had grabbed Fu Yan's hand in his haste.
He awkwardly moved his hand away. Fu Yan watched him quickly withdraw his hand, his eyes filled with loneliness, and slowly looked away.
Xiao Xin stared intently at his profile: "Why aren't you eating?"
Fu Yan turned slightly to the side and said in a low voice, "I have no appetite."
She looked like a sulky little wife.
Xiao Xin suddenly didn't know what to say. Could he force Fu Yan to eat if he didn't want to?
Xiao Xin had no choice but to wave his hand and say, "Fine, fine, whatever makes you happy."
He was leaning on the sofa, just about to get up, when his wrist was suddenly pulled back forcefully. Then, Fu Yan pressed on his shoulder and pushed him back onto the sofa.
Just as Xiao Xin was about to get up, a large hand lifted his head and pressed him onto the sofa.
Fu Yan's soft voice came from above: "Really, brother? As long as I'm happy?"
