Yu Muqing paused for a moment, quietly looking at the bewilderment in those tearful eyes, and smiled, "I didn't see it."

When Xiao Xin received a negative answer from him, he panicked completely.

"Bang—" The iron gate made a loud noise.

The door opened.

He ran quickly toward the edge of the rooftop, and just before he reached it, someone called his name from behind.

"Xiao Xin, don't do anything foolish!"

Yu Muqing stood ten meters away from him, panting with her knees on her hands, her long hair hanging down in front of her, fluttering freely in the wind.

This is terrible.

He hadn't expected Xiao Xin to be so physically fit; he had run up more than ten floors in less than ten minutes.

Xiao Xin turned to look at him, her expression numb as tears streamed down her face, and she retreated step by step toward the edge of the rooftop.
