Unfortunately, the locals here have gone to extremes in their beliefs, and getting too close could easily backfire.

Cheng Shuang wasn't sure what Liu Juan's purpose was in choosing Silent Hill, but she was certain it wasn't for the monsters of Silent Hill.

Cheng Shuang remembered that her sister Juan's unresolved issues seemed to be related to children, so she guessed that Juan was drawn to the movie because of Alessa or Sharon.

Could the experiences of these two children be related to the unresolved issues that Liu Juan has been hiding in her heart?

The little girl pondered as she ran alongside Ross.

In the movie, only Rose ultimately met Alessa, meaning that to find Alessa, one must go through Rose.

Liu Juan would most likely consider this aspect as well.

But there's one downside to following Rose closely: after all, she's the main character, and she encounters far too many monsters.

Cheng Shuang sighed, watching as Ross took advantage of the policewoman's inattention to turn the corner and quietly slip away. She followed him step by step and turned into the building.

This place looks a bit like a school. Oh, and the area where those burning children were just now seems to be the playground.

They ran half a lap around the school.

By the time Cheng Shuang realized what was happening, Ross, having seen something, plunged headfirst into a dusty, gray door. As the door closed, Cheng Shuang heard her call out the name "Sharon."

The little girl hurriedly chased after him, because she had no intention of hiding her footsteps. Ross glanced at her, said nothing, turned his head and called "Sharon" into the hallway, and continued to search around.

Cheng Shuang knew that this was Ross's tacit approval for her to follow him.

The two walked one in front of the other. Ross would occasionally shine his flashlight behind him in the dark to prevent Cheng Shuang from tripping due to poor visibility.

Her actions caused the demonic infant, who had been lying on Cheng Shuang's back pretending to be dead, to slightly raise its eyes and stare blankly at her back.

Just as they reached a fork in the corridor, Ross suddenly pulled Cheng Shuang over, simultaneously holding the flashlight upside down over his abdomen to block out the light.

At the other end of the fork, three cloaked cultists filed past. Ross held his breath and hid in a corner. Only after they had all left did he exhale and whisper to Cheng Shuang, "You won't find your sister if you follow them."

"We will find it," the little girl replied softly but firmly.

After a moment of silence, as if he had thought of something, Ross paused for a moment, then said, "Yes, we will find it!"

Ross didn't pay any special attention to Cheng Shuang. After all, her own daughter's life was hanging in the balance, and she was so anxious that she was almost desperate. She had no time to take care of a child who was only a teenager.

Of course, Cheng Shuang didn't need her help. With the boost from the accelerator, she could easily overtake Ross without even realizing it.

Ross crossed the school lawn and came to another teaching building. She quickly found the word "witch" on a desk in a classroom. She flipped the desk over and the user name that was revealed was Alessa.

Cheng Shuang glanced at it, her little face tense as she tried to recall the plot. Next, Ross seemed to encounter a terrifying insect monster.

The little girl secretly took out the insecticide and gave the demon baby a box of matches.

The demonic infant, holding a match, bared its teeth fiercely at Cheng Shuang. What did it take her for? It wasn't her henchman or assistant!

Clearly, its ferocity was ignored by another person as usual...

Another dark figure flashed past the classroom door. Rose chased after it like a madwoman, shouting Sharon's name. They ran through the corridor, climbed the stairs, and chased it to the stairwell paved with blue bricks on both sides. Rose then ran to the end of the stairwell, and the dark figure disappeared behind the door.

Ross pushed open the door and entered.

This is a large, dilapidated bathroom, which is generally the first place where children like to hide when they are wronged or hurt.

Cheng Shuang didn't go in. She had some recollection of the scene; there should have been a gruesome corpse hidden in the bathroom.

The body was suspended by wire, and the smell was so strong that even Cheng Shuang, who was standing at the door, couldn't help but cover her mouth and nose with her sleeve.

After Ross calmed down for a while, he walked towards the corpse and saw a line of words engraved on the background wall behind it: Come on! Come on! If you have the guts, come on!

She felt no sympathy for the corpse's fate before death. If her memory served her right, the body hanging there with its legs dangling was the school janitor who had bullied Alessa.

"There's something in his mouth." A little girl's soft voice echoed in the empty bathroom. Perhaps the space was too desolate and cold, making even her sweet voice sound eerie.

Ross was focused entirely on finding Sharon and had no time to think about anything else. When he heard Cheng Shuang's words, his first reaction was not that he thought the child was unusually calm, but that he handed her the flashlight, rolled up his sleeves, and carefully pulled the things out of the corpse's rotting mouth.

Just as the two pushed open the bathroom door to leave, a cult member shone a flashlight on Ross's face.

Cheng Shuang quickly pulled the door back, and Ross hurriedly took out his key and locked the door from the inside.

At the same time, footsteps were heard, followed by the door being shaken and kicked violently.

Ross leaned against the door, praying anxiously, while Cheng Shuang nervously observed the surroundings while holding the insecticide.

She remembered the insect monster appearing quickly...

The door shook for about ten seconds, then suddenly fell silent outside. The little girl quickly pressed her face against the crack in the door and listened intently. There were squeaking and howling sounds from small animals outside, similar to the reaction of birds that had been startled.

Then, footsteps sounded, and the believers hurriedly left as if they had received some kind of signal.

In an instant, the sirens blared.

Under the oppressive, chilling roar of the horn, something even worse happened.

The dilapidated bathroom seemed to have shed its old, black shell, revealing a bloody, mottled interior covered in rust.

Ross nervously gripped Cheng Shuang's arm. From the depths of the bathroom, where the corpse was, came a low growl, like that of a wild beast or a monster. A twisted figure staggered out—it was the corpse that had been bound and hung upside down by wire.

Its hideous face was like a nightmare, and its crawling speed was no slower than that of an ordinary person. Wherever its palm touched, a layer of something like blood and flesh spread out. Instantly, the entire bathroom was enveloped by this putrid unknown substance, and everything in sight was a blood-red swamp that seemed to have a life of its own.

"run!"

The two took off running, but before they knew it, the bathroom had completely changed. There were metal wire mesh cages on both sides, with many mutilated and rotting corpses hanging on them.

Behind him were corpses chasing after him, dragged along by barbed wire; his surroundings resembled hell.

"Useless! Don't run away! Don't run away!" Cheng Shuang's only behavior of running away made the demonic infant feel humiliated and roar in her ear.

Seeing that Cheng Shuang ignored it, it angrily struck a match and threw it at the corpse.

The flame fell into the blood and mud, and without any response, it went out with a plop.

The demonic infant... silently buried its head back into Cheng Shuang's shoulder.

How annoying, everyone has to bully it!
