Upon looking up, they were immediately stunned; a major news story was being broadcast live.

"He... isn't he that Tanaka-sensei? Are they from the yakuza? My God, this is unbelievable!" Chisato exclaimed in surprise, pointing at the menacing-looking man on the screen. On either side of the man were a man and a woman, both exuding a menacing aura.

Armed with firearms, they disregarded human life, committing violence in the streets in an attempt to break through the defenses.

Hearing this, Akasaka's mother poked her head out and asked, "What teacher? Is she from your school?"

"No, he's a teacher from a middle school. We happened to meet him at Shendu Mountain."

Akasaka's mother, losing interest, retreated back into the kitchen, muttering, "Is becoming a teacher really that easy these days?!"

The news report was vague, saying that after failing to bribe the police, they escaped from prison with their accomplices armed with weapons. During the escape, two innocent civilians died, three were seriously injured, six were slightly injured, and a police officer who tried to stop them was shot in the shoulder.

Things were too coincidental. Why did he have to escape now of all times? Given Tanaka's cautious nature, it was probably safer in prison... Unless something threatened his life, he wouldn't have taken such a risk.

Qianli patted his chest in relief upon seeing this, "That's great! It would be scary if they were still alive!"

The rules of each death zone are different. Tanaka looked down on the natives, yet he died at their hands. It's incredibly dramatic!

The news ended, and the phone rang. It was Du Jun.

He did not see any suspicious people near the hospital.

The incident at the police station was not far from the hospital.

"It must be a police officer!" Cheng Shuang said with a smile. "That officer who saved the innocent citizen was amazing!"

"Impressive!" Du Jun commented succinctly. "I took a screenshot of the TV screen!"

He watched TV at an electronics store near the hospital and bought Cheng Shuang a new cell phone.

When she heard that Ryusuke was coming back and had brought Yuko a gift, Chisato looked bewildered and subconsciously asked, "Are you two that close?"

"Maybe he suddenly found my younger sister adorable, and his conscience returned!"

Qianli looked at the smug little girl with complicated emotions, and said very rationally, "No, I think Brother Kawakami is more likely to be possessed by a ghost!"

Cheng Shuang: "You're such a clever little devil!"

Du Jun came over not only to deliver a phone to Cheng Shuang, but also because of Sadako and Kayako. He wouldn't feel at ease until he completely dealt with the two ghosts.
