I felt a constant ringing in my ears, and my whole body felt weak. When I turned my head to look, I found that I was still surrounded by darkness.

For a moment, I even doubted that I was blind.

But soon I saw the robots' constantly flashing green eyes, and at that moment Wang Ping and Bai Wei also made a sound.

"Sihai, how are you? Are you hurt? Bai Wei, how are you?"

Wang Ping's urgent voice came from beside me. I struggled to sit up and realized that what was in front of me was a building made of iron plates, like a yurt.

Wang Ping climbed over to my side, looked me over, and then breathed a sigh of relief.

"That huge noise outside must have been the pirates attacking. Damn it, I didn't expect them to be lying in ambush nearby, luring us into a trap. Once I get out, I'll kill them all!"

As Wang Ping spoke, he excitedly cocked the gun in his hand.

Bai Wei quickly grabbed him: "When did you become so impulsive? These robots are obviously throwing out shields to save our lives. Besides, there's no more cannon fire outside now, so these robots must have already taken action. Why don't you lie here for a while?"

Lin Xubo dodged quickly, disappearing to the back. The pirates then started yelling at us, though we couldn't make out what they were saying.

The four robots beside us stood like guards in the four corners, and the shields they conjured formed a protective shield similar to a yurt, covering all of us.

The robot stood stiffly in front of me, and I still felt a little uneasy, since upon closer inspection, there were probably six or seven cannons outside.

If we were hit by one of those cannons, our entire army would be wiped out. Although these four robots are powerful, their chances of successfully fighting against six or seven cannons are slim.

Add to that Lin Xubo, that beast, who knows what he was saying to these pirates. And these robots do look rather frail. I felt incredibly regretful. If I had known that the Utas tribe and pirates were waiting for us to walk into their trap, I should have brought 008 and the others with me. Maybe there would have been some room for maneuver.

But now it seems it's too late.

Wang Ping stood next to me and whispered, "If these four robots can't withstand the people of the Utas tribe and their cannons, then let's hide inside that small iron gate. Sihai, see if you can conjure up that small iron gate here."

I calmed down, took a deep breath, and was about to concentrate on summoning the small iron gate.

At that moment, the robot standing beside me suddenly said mechanically, "Master, danger detected ahead. May we attack?"

The robot's question put me in a difficult position. After all, robots are just programmed; they have no way of judging for themselves whether they can completely resolve the crises around them and escape unscathed.

But now, as the master, I have to think about them.

In other words, we should think about people like us.

Wang Ping and we quickly hid inside the protective shield, while the sounds outside continued unabated.

Wang Ping shouted at me, "Sihai, hurry up and imagine that iron gate, otherwise if the protective shield can't hold, we'll be dead!"

I quickly closed my eyes, concentrating as much as I could to stay calm. Not long after, I heard Bai Wei exclaim in surprise, "It's here!"

Then I opened my eyes and found that the small iron gate was indeed standing next to us.

Wang Ping, along with several colleagues and Bai Wei, hid inside the small iron gate.

I rushed in after him, hoping that Mu Cuo would be quick-witted and find a place to hide.

Nobody knew what was going on outside. More than half an hour had passed, and I was getting increasingly anxious.

"You all stay here and keep watch, I'll go out and check."

Bai Wei, however, was somewhat worried: "Will it work? I think we should wait a little longer."
