"Do you even realize how badly you've ruined this girl's reputation? Can you bear the responsibility for that?" Zhou Wenjing was furious.

Two voices rang out simultaneously.

They came from Yang Dongmei, who had been watching from the sidelines, and Gu Xilan, who had opened the door again at some point.

The gunshots came from deep in the mountains.

His voice was serious, neither too loud nor too soft, just loud enough for everyone present to hear.

No one knew what had happened, but they all gathered around anyway.

Gu Xichen looked at Gu Wenxi: "Wenxi, go back and tell your father that everyone should stay home and not go out today."

Wenxi asked, puzzled, "Xichen, why?"

Gu Dashan and Jiang Junrong exchanged a glance and followed him inside.

The two insisted on going, saying no.
