The Delicate Sweet Wife is Married, Making Master Huo Blush and Heart Throb

Si Muyan was a delicate and frail beauty, disliked by her parents and secretly harmed by a fake heiress.

Meeting Huo Si was her salvation. Years ago, a snowy encounter at a temple caught his ...

Chapter 3 Sir, can you take me in tonight?

"My mother's method of urging me to get married." Huo Si pressed his eyebrows and stood up.

Just as he walked past her, someone suddenly grabbed the hem of his clothes.

Huo Si glanced at her sideways.

Si Muyan grabbed the hem of his clothes, bit her lower lip lightly, and looked at him with her big black eyes, wanting to say something but hesitant.

Huo Si did not rush her and waited patiently for her to speak.

After a long while, Si Muyan blushed and asked, "Sir, can you take me in tonight?"

Her heart was in her throat. Si Muyan opened her lips slightly and looked at him nervously, waiting for his answer.

Before eating, she charged her mobile phone and only found out that her account was frozen after turning it on.

It seems that the Si family really wants to push her into a desperate situation.

Now she was penniless and had nowhere to go. She was a little scared because of her recent experience with homelessness.

"Yeah." Huo Si responded simply.

Upon hearing this, Si Muyan, delighted, immediately gave a deep 90-degree bow. However, she forgot that they were very close to each other, and her head bumped into his chest.

Well, hard.

Huo Si groaned.

Si Muyan was so scared that she quickly stepped back and apologized repeatedly.

Looking like a frightened little rabbit, a smile flashed across Huo Si's eyes, and he walked away without saying a word.

Gazing at his back, Si Muyan murmured softly, "Sir, you are truly kind-hearted."

In the study, Huo Si sat at his desk, working intently.

There was a knock on the door, and he didn't even raise his head: "Come in."

The door opened and a rich and fragrant aroma of coffee wafted in.

Huo Si continued working until a soft and sticky voice reached his eardrums: "Sir, have a cup of coffee to refresh yourself."

Huo Si raised his head and saw Si Muyan holding a cup of coffee with a bright smile.

"Why aren't you sleeping yet?" Huo Si took it with his usual expression.

"Sir, you've helped me so much, there's nothing I can do for you. I just saw the maid making coffee, so I thought I'd make some."

After hearing her explanation, Huo Si picked up the coffee and sniffed it. The coffee aroma was rich. He took a sip and the fragrance lingered on his lips and teeth.

"Not bad." Huo Si gave a fair evaluation.

Seeing that he liked it, Si Muyan smiled sweetly. When she was about to turn around, she suddenly noticed a Buddhist scripture on the desk.

He picked it up and said in surprise, "This is the Shurangama Sutra, and it's a rare copy. It must be hard to find."

"You understand?" Surprise flashed in Huo Si's eyes.

Si Muyan replied embarrassedly: "My parents said before that the man I'm engaged to likes Buddhism. I thought that if we really get married in the future, we would have something in common, so I also read some Buddhist scriptures."

She heard that the man she was going to marry was called a "son of Buddha" because he had been reading Buddhist scriptures since he was a child and was not interested in women.

"Do you like him?" When he asked this, Huo Si rubbed the rim of the cup with his fingertips and looked at her with a slightly deep look in his eyes.

Si Muyan shook her head: "I have never met him, let alone whether I like him or not."

Putting down the coffee cup, Huo Si said nothing.

"Thank you again, sir. I will repay you if I have the chance in the future."

Si Muyan expressed her sincere thoughts and then left the study so as not to disturb her work.

Huo Si looked at the smiling face latte art on his coffee, curled his lips and smiled, but didn't take her words to heart.
