The Empress Carries Space and Starts Wilderness Survival in the Cold Palace

The people of the entire Nanding Kingdom know that the current Emperor married the 200-pound废物 princess of the General's Manor as his Empress.

However, one day, this Empress was no longer...

Chapter 35 Li Qishang's Feeding

Today, the Cold Palace was filled with joy. Bilian looked at the imperial edict in her hand. Although it did not say that they were to move back to Kunning Palace, at least it lifted the confinement of her own Empress, right?

They can move freely inside and outside the palace. Does this mean that the Empress can leave the palace at any time? If so, then the Empress won't have to stay in the Cold Palace every day. Although the Emperor's intention is that the Empress still needs to live in the Cold Palace, the Empress must be even happier!

Holding the imperial edict, Bilian walked into Guan Zhiyue's room and immediately pounced on Guan Zhiyue, beginning to ramble on and on.

As Guan Zhiyue lay in bed listening to what Bilian was saying, she was somewhat shocked. Was it really true?

Can she really come and go freely in and out of the palace? And she's even living in the Cold Palace! This is absolutely the happiest thing for her; she can't help but open her eyes in excitement.

"Your Majesty, why won't the Emperor let us move out of the Cold Palace? Since he has already lifted your confinement, shouldn't he let you move back to Kunning Palace?"

Guan Zhiyue lay on the bed, seemingly lost in thought. She shook her head, moved her fingers, and slowly opened her eyes. Looking at Bilian, who was lying beside her bed, she said in a slightly hoarse voice, "Give me a glass of water."

Upon hearing the sound, Bilian was shocked and stood up from the bedside, staring excitedly at Guan Zhiyue.

He quickly brought a glass of warm water from the table next to him, gently helped Guan Zhiyue up from the bed, and then put two pillows under her back to make her more comfortable.

Guan Zhiyue took the water glass that Bilian brought her, gulped it down, and finished the whole glass of water in one go. She then handed the empty glass back to Bilian, saying that she wanted more.

Bilian smiled and poured Guan Zhiyue another glass of water, then told her not to drink any more, saying she would bring her some plain porridge to warm her stomach.

Guan Zhiyue raised her hand and touched her stomach, knowing that it was time to eat some food, so she obeyed Bilian's words.

Before leaving, Bilian handed the imperial edict to Guan Zhiyue so she could take a good look at it and have some fun. Then she happily ran off to make millet porridge for Guan Zhiyue.

Upon hearing the news that Guan Zhiyue had woken up, Li Qishang rushed over without even combing his hair. He pushed open Guan Zhiyue's bedroom door and walked in to see her sitting on the headboard in a white undergarment. Her face was still pale and weak, and her lips were slightly white and bloodless. It seemed that she had been unconscious for several days, which had caused her lips to be dry and cracked.

"You silly girl, you've finally decided to wake up." Li Qishang strode over to Guan Zhiyue in a few quick steps, looking at her with doting eyes as she sat on the bed.

Guan Zhiyue looked up at Li Qishang. His plain white clothes, disheveled hair, and crooked belt made her smile quietly. She was content with having so many people who cared about her.

"Your Highness, what brings you here!"

Hearing Guan Zhiyue's words, Li Qishang said with a mixture of amusement and exasperation, "Look at you, you heartless little thing. I traveled all the way from three kilometers away, and all I came here for was to care about you. What else do you think I did?"

"How are you feeling? Are you feeling much better now?"

Guan Zhiyue tossed the imperial edict in her hand onto the side of the bed, looked at Li Qishang, nodded very seriously, and said, "Yes, much better."

"That's good, that's good."

"You must never hurt yourself like that again, understand?" Li Qishang looked straight at Guan Zhiyue. In fact, there was another sentence he never said: "It would break my heart."

Looking at Li Qishang's concerned yet forlorn eyes, Guan Zhiyue nodded solemnly, raised her right hand, extended three fingers, and swore to the sky, "I promise, I will never hurt myself again."

Without a second thought, Li Qishang reached out and pinched Guan Zhiyue's three raised fingers, looking at her with a doting expression.

When Bilian came in, she saw Prince Xiaoyao holding his wife's hand. The prince was looking at his wife with a doting expression, while his wife was looking at Prince Xiaoyao with deep affection. What was going on? She couldn't accept it. She had only gone out to get some millet porridge, but what had happened between the two of them? Why had they become like this?

"Your Highness, His Highness..."

Bilian interrupted the two people in front of her and called out somewhat awkwardly.

Li Qishang released the chubby little hand that had been held with some regret, looking somewhat reluctant to let go.

"Your Majesty, the millet porridge is ready. Please have some!" Bilian placed the small white bowl of millet porridge on the plate in front of Guan Zhiyue.

Li Qishang reached out and took it, then looked at Bilian and said, "You can go now! I can handle things here."

Bilian looked at the carefree prince in front of her with some disbelief, and then at Guan Zhiyue, who was sitting by the bed.

Guan Zhiyue actually wanted to say that she could have come by herself and that she had the strength, but when she saw Li Qishang's somewhat resentful and sorrowful eyes, she was completely convinced.

"Bilian, you may leave now!"

"But Your Majesty..."

Guan Zhiyue stopped speaking, and seeing this, Bilian didn't know what to say either. She squatted down, bowed, and looked at the two of them, saying, "This servant is at the door. If Your Highness or the Prince needs anything, just call this servant."

Li Qishang gave a soft "hmm," and Bilian took the plate and went out. She stood at the door like a great Buddha, preventing anyone from peeking inside or finding out any information.

Li Qishang gently stirred the small, emerald-green bowl. The snow-white porridge paired with the emerald-green bowl looked incredibly arrogant.

"Have some porridge first! You've been hungry for two days."

Li Qishang gently scooped a spoonful from the bowl, blew on it far from his mouth to make sure it wasn't steaming, and then fed it to Guan Zhiyue. Guan Zhiyue was a little uncomfortable and tried to resist, but Li Qishang insisted on feeding her spoonful by spoonful of the white rice porridge in the bowl.

"Oh dear, I'm sorry." Li Qishang noticed that Guan Zhiyue had some rice grains stuck to the corner of her mouth because he had scooped up too much rice porridge earlier. He smiled and gently wiped the rice grains away from her mouth. The soft and smooth touch of her skin made him pause for a moment.

The sensation from his fingertips was something he was experiencing for the first time. He now realized how soft and supple a girl's face and lips could be. He swallowed hard, looking at Guan Zhiyue's slightly rosy lips. He couldn't forget that bouncy touch.

Guan Zhiyue looked at Li Qishang, then turned her head away awkwardly, slid back onto the bed, and pulled the blanket over her head.

"Your Highness, I'm a little tired. Please go back first!"

"I'm not getting up to see you off..."

Li Qishang looked at Guan Zhiyue, who was covered by the blanket. He himself was trembling a little. He stood up and said softly, "Get some rest. I'll come see you again tomorrow."

He put down his bowl and spoon and strode away, so resolute and decisive that he didn't even acknowledge Bilian's bow before hurrying off.
