The Factory Director's Darling in the Nineties

Lin Lu - a Kyoto University student with a promising future.

Song Chen - a military officer with a bright future.

Due to a life-saving grace, the two were forced to marry and have child...

Chapter 111 I am your husband

"Hello, Dad." Lin Jingbei picked up the phone.

Lin Lu: "It's me, are you home?"

Song Chen didn't allow him to bring a cell phone to school. I don't know if the child followed the rules set by his father after they came out.

Hearing his mother's voice, Lin Jingbei's voice became lighter: "Yeah, I just got back."

Lin Lu: "Didn't you say you had a problem last night? Read it to me."

In fact, that was just an excuse for Lin Jingbei to talk more with his parents.

So, he thought she just agreed casually last night, but he didn't expect that she really remembered it.

Lin Jingbei's young face was full of smiles. If he wasn't still on the phone, he might have laughed out loud.

"Wait a moment, I'll look for it."

"Don't be anxious, take your time looking." Lin Lu's voice was really gentle.

Lin Jingbei flipped through several pages of his math workbook but couldn't find any suitable questions to ask because he already knew how to do them.

If you pick a simple question at random, his mother would not only doubt Lin Jingbei's IQ, but might even doubt the IQ of all the students in the grade.

In order to save face for all his classmates, Lin Jingbei tried very hard to find it.

He flipped from mathematics to physics, and then to chemistry, and finally decided to ask an English question.

Lin Jingbei: "There's an English sentence I don't quite understand. Could you help me analyze it?"

It’s understandable that you don’t know English.

Lin Lu wrote down the sentence he read haltingly on a piece of paper, translated it for him first, and then broke down the grammar of the entire sentence.

Finally, I asked, “Do you understand?”

Lin Jingbei nodded, "I understand."

Lin Lu’s spoken English is not very good. All he learned before college was dumb English.

It was only when I had enough money in college that I bought some tapes to correct my pronunciation.

I had never heard Lin Jingbei read English before, but now I noticed that the situation was the same as hers before.

"I'll go out and buy you an English Walkman tomorrow so you can practice speaking."

Lin Jingbei smiled even more: "Thank you, Mom."
