Alpha's promise to answer the phone no matter when was no longer valid, even though Jiang Yujin had only been separated from him for a few days.

Jiang Yujin didn't know what her job entailed. No one is so busy that they can't answer the phone; it's obvious she just doesn't want to.

"Okay, I'll pick you up." Liang Dongmo agreed quite quickly.

Jiang Yujin was dissatisfied with the alpha's perfunctory attitude. "Liang Dongmo, why don't you ask me what I did at home today?" Without a video call, his expression was all over the place. After being well for a few days, he returned to the Jiang family home and his arrogant attitude returned.

What are you doing at home?

It answers every question verbatim, like a human-machine interface.

Jiang Yujin suspected that Liang Dongmo's language skills had deteriorated at work, but he had no evidence.

"Liang Dongmo, Jiang Mo is driving me crazy! If I keep studying like this, my head is going to explode! What right does she have to tell me what to do? I don't want to study anymore..."

"Does Ajin really hate her?" Liang Dongmo's side was quiet, and her voice was different from usual, with an unusual stiffness.

"I hate her, I hate everything about her!" Jiang Yujin said without restraint, uttering many vicious words.

After Liang Dongmo finished venting, he comforted him, "Ajin, don't be angry anymore. Get some rest. How about I pick you up after school tomorrow and we go out to play?"

Jiang Yujin, holding his phone, agreed.

After hanging up the phone, Jiang Mo knocked on the door again.

Jiang Yujin thought it was his mother returning, so he went to open the door barefoot. Unexpectedly, when he opened the door, it was the female alpha with a deadpan smile.

Jiang Yujin: "Is there something you need?"

"Little brother, Mom is back. The maid said you ate very little for dinner, so she wants you to come down and eat some more with us."

So they came to deliver a message.

The house was always heated, so Jiang Yujin followed Jiang Mo downstairs wearing only a thin nightgown.

But Jiang's mother was nowhere to be seen.

"He may have gone out earlier, your younger brother can eat first."

Jiang Yujin suddenly lost his appetite. He had thought his mother would be waiting for him at the table as usual, but she didn't come back.

"With so many people in the company, why are they so busy that they can't even come home? What is Mom doing?"

"I'm afraid my younger brother will have to ask that himself. I'm just a small intern at the company."

"You're at work?" Jiang Yujin's eyes flashed with disbelief, but even more so with resentment. At the same age, Jiang Mo was soon able to take over the company and help his parents and brothers with their affairs, while he had been holding them back all along.

"I skipped a grade and am now a junior in college."

Jiang Mo's explanation sounded like a boast to him: an alpha who is better than him, no wonder his parents like her and insist on bringing her back to raise her.

"What's so great about it!" Jiang Yujin thought that he could learn it well if he wanted to.

Once seated at the dining table, the omega began to be picky.

Any food cooked by Jiang Mo is bound to be bad.

Except for the one at noon.

"The rice wasn't cooked properly, and the dishes were awful. What did they put in that was so salty? You shouldn't cook anymore, Jiang Mo. It's awful."

"I'll check your brother's homework later." Jiang Mo noticed that there was oil on the corner of the boy's mouth and kindly handed him a tissue to wipe it. The boy was still ungrateful. "I won't do the homework you assigned me. Jiang Mo, stop pretending to be a caring older sister. You might stab me in the back one day."

Jiang Yujin was secretly pleased with himself. He had already said all that, and Jiang Mo was sure to get angry again, which would drive her crazy.

"Leave the key and get out!"

As soon as Jiang Mo left, Jiang Yujin threw the keys on the table into the trash can.

The omega buried her face in the blanket, and tears of grievance fell silently.
