New book "The Little Chef at the Border" asking for support -
First of all, I would like to apologize to all the cute people who support "The Farmer's Husband is a Koi" for the update of this book.
Due to some problems encountered when publishing this book, it was almost in a cold state and could not bring much income to the author. As an author who needed to make a living, he had no choice but to start another book "After Becoming a Concubine, I Just Want to Farm", which caused the update of Little Koi to be almost stagnant.
In mid-September 2023, the book of the foreign room was completed. I thought I could successfully fill the pit of the little koi, but I encountered a job transfer. The company invested in a nine-year private school. As a capable person of the company, the author was sent to the school to take charge of many important tasks such as material procurement, contract drafting, review, signing and archiving, and personnel procedures.
I originally thought that I could continue to work and slack off at school, but when I actually started working, I found that this was a real concentration camp for cattle and horses. The author had to get up at 8 o'clock every morning to go to get off work, and get off work at 8 o'clock in the evening. Overtime on Saturdays and Sundays was the norm. The longest time I worked was more than 20 days in a row without any rest days, and there was no way I could finish the work.
During this period, I also had to deal with the open and secret attacks, sarcasm, and power struggles from another partner team... It can be said that I experienced more workplace struggles in just a few months than I had in the past ten years. This working environment made the author exhausted from September to January this year. I had to cry almost every other day before going to work. The updates that I had always wanted to pick up were ultimately not realized.
It was not until mid-January, when the struggle intensified and the company took self-destructive actions, that the author finally made up his mind to resign. After a brief period of adjustment, he tried hard to pick up the updates of Little Koi.
However, new problems also arose.
There was a gap in my creative thinking, and I hadn't written properly for almost half a year, so my writing style was greatly affected. The subsequent plot was also unsatisfactory, and I could only end it based on my existing way of thinking.
It can be said that the road to writing this book was the most bumpy one since the author started writing novels. It also witnessed the hardships at work that the author encountered in the past year or so, which he had not encountered in the past decade or so.
In short, although Little Koi did not achieve the expected effect, the author has learned some lessons and will continue to work hard on his subsequent writing career.
Thanks again to all the cuties who continue to support the author until now.
The new book is expected to be released on the eleventh day of the first lunar month (originally scheduled for the tenth day, but the editor had not yet come to work, so it had to be postponed for one day). It is still about ancient farming, and I hope to get continued support from all the cuties.
Thanks!!!
