Foolish Game of the Gods

I have two principles as a human being:

1. Never lie.

2. Never believe anything anyone says, including myself.

“Sir, I must point out that your second principle contradicts the ...

Chapter 1321 The True Predestination

Yes, it exists, but can we say that?

The group exchanged glances, looking at each other in bewilderment. After a moment of contemplation, Li Jingming said in a deep voice:

"Bone bell... have you rung it?"

Are you sure they won't find out about this blatant blasphemy?

Cheng Shi shook his head, took out the bone bell and threw it on the ground. Under the astonished gazes of the clowns, he laughed:

"There's no need to knock anymore."

This is not the protection of "death," but a scam by the god of entertainment.

He deceived Lao Zhang, using lies to save the world, allowing Lao Zhang to keep it from us. Therefore, all the previous criticisms of Him had already been heard by this 'insidious and vicious' god.

Friends, if we consider it blasphemy, none of you can escape it.

"......"

"......"

"......"

Seeing the atmosphere momentarily freeze, Cheng Shi laughed again, "But don't worry, even if blasphemy deserves to die, I'll be the first to die. With me standing in front of you, what are you afraid of?"

Zhen Xin blinked and chuckled:

"That's not necessarily true."

We all know how much the "nothingness" has gazed upon you. They may not be willing to let you die, but they can certainly make us die.

"......"

These words left Cheng Shi speechless, because what Zhen Xin said was true, and he couldn't refute it.

He had already experienced it once, and several of them had fallen beside him, their corpses forming the path leading to the predetermined destination.

Thinking of how many friends had died because of him, a trace of grief flashed in Cheng Shi's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure, forcing a smile as he addressed the crowd:

"This time it won't be like that, I will stand in front of everyone."

"?"

These words sounded strange, not at all like the Weaver of Fate who would only protect everyone in front of him. However, before they heard the Weaver of Fate say that the false era had come to an end, they could not be sure what caused Cheng Shi's sudden emotional outburst.

So the clowns continued to listen patiently.

"We want to play our cards openly, and within the rules, we want to play them openly so that even the gods cannot refuse."

The "Covenant" is extremely rigid, making it our best means of seizing divine power. As mortals, we die and leave nothing behind, but if we become gods, we are protected by the "Covenant," and at least when we die, we can leave a glimmer of hope for others...

This is the lesson Cheng Shi learned from Qin Xin's death; he finally understood the spirit of passing on the torch, where "success doesn't have to be achieved by me."

But he felt that such a spirit was too tragic, and perhaps success could also be achieved by him, as long as the plan was well-thought-out, and as long as the fear faction remained on their side...

Cheng Shi was lost in thought, and sighed:

"Let's stop with the empty talk and get down to business."

As you may recall, there is a preordained destiny. Chairman Gong once said that the Creator is searching for a successful 'sample' in His experiments, and the key to determining whether this sample is successful or not is preordained.

Now I've found the predetermined one.

The clowns didn't seem surprised; they looked at Cheng Shi and said in unison:

"you?"

"You? Praising a foolish joke."

Cheng Shi laughed self-deprecatingly:

"That's right, it's me again."

In fact, long ago, when I returned to the path of "Destiny", "Destiny" kept emphasizing its predetermined nature in my ears. Until later, when I penetrated "Nothingness", the predetermined nature became like a shackle, completely locking me in.

I was confused, doubtful, and fearful, yet I never knew what "destiny" was. Because of this, I resisted "fate" more and more, and gradually drew closer to the god of pleasure.

After that, under the protection of the god of joy, I wandered among the gods, learned about their past, felt their will, discovered the truth of history, and understood the true meaning of "nothingness". Only then did I realize that the so-called predetermined was a sacrifice made by "fate" for "the origin".

And I, I am honored to be that sacrifice.

The devotion to creating the offerings was inscribed in His will the moment He was born. Combined with the fact that the universe is just an experiment, it is hard for me not to understand this will as essentially an instruction manual for the experiment from the will of the Origin.

He tells Fate what He needs, and a devout Fate will create the throne He desires for the Creator!

You might not believe it, but I, a mere mortal, was chosen to become the glue that holds this divine throne together!

Ha, isn't that funny? You can laugh now.

No one in the room could laugh out loud.

Although Cheng Shi always spoke in a self-deprecating tone, the unbearable weight he carried resonated with all the clowns.

Everyone found it absurd: how could a mortal possibly fit together a divine throne that the Creator needed?

Is there anything in that flesh and blood that resembles adhesive?

Yes, there really is!

Blood......

Perhaps only that burning passion can bind the thrones together.

But then again, isn't the Creator's request a bit too absurd?

Why would [He] reside high above the real universe, controlling everything across billions of slices of the universe, and why would [Fate] specifically create a divine throne for [He]?

What kind of divine throne is that? Is it His own divine throne, or is it merely a "toy" that looks exactly like the [Primordial] divine throne?

Neither the former nor the latter is comprehensible to the clowns of today, and they find it utterly absurd.

If the Creator's purpose was to create the primordial throne that originally belonged to Him, then it means that He currently has no throne. However, without a throne, He cannot possibly control all living beings in the universe!
