Foolish Game of the Gods

I have two principles as a human being:

1. Never lie.

2. Never believe anything anyone says, including myself.

“Sir, I must point out that your second principle contradicts the ...

Chapter 1337 Slap in the Face

Li Jingming wasn't lying; the [Memory] collection did indeed record the scene where [Chaos] replaced [Order].

When Cheng Shi looked at the Dragon King and realized that the Dragon King's expression didn't seem fake, he was completely stunned.

This was completely unexpected "evidence".

No one could have imagined that [Memory] had known everything all along, yet He had never mentioned it to the gods. Didn't that mean He already knew that [Chaos] had been replaced by [Deception]?

Watching helplessly as your adversary holds two votes, deceiving the world, and obfuscating existence and memory, while remaining indifferent and even helping to cover it up?

Even the [Iron Laws of Order] and the invisible [Death] above everyone's heads were momentarily stunned.

So, is it that memory is the "traitor" within existence?

But why did He do this?

All the gods and humans present couldn't understand it. The Iron Law of Order simply didn't believe any of this. If Memory had really supported Deception all along, then He wouldn't have opposed or abstained from voting at the convention meeting.

The supreme legal code erupted with a dazzling holy light of order, and proclaimed sternly:

"Those who bear false witness for blasphemy shall be struck by lightning!"

Li Jingming remained calm and bowed respectfully, saying, "I am willing to go with the true God to obtain the evidence. I believe my Lord will open the door wide for me."

Seeing the [Memory] believers' attitude, the [Iron Law of Order] became hesitant.

These mortals spoke with absolute certainty and conviction, firmly believing that their identities were questionable. But how could the true God not know who he is?

[Iron Laws of Order] The only doubts about her identity stemmed from the appearance of those three gods, and now another [memory] must be added...

What exactly do they want to do?

Must we really let this global order perish?

The turning of the pages of the Holy Light Codex gradually stopped. Seeing this, Cheng Shi sneered and added fuel to the fire: "What, scared?"

The power of [Iron Law of Order] suddenly erupted around it, and every page of the law book was dyed golden by the supreme order. In the midst of constant self-doubt and struggle with its identity, it seemed to have figured something out, and its aura became more and more solid, and its momentum gradually increased.

He looked down upon the crowd, then gazed at death beyond the void, and hummed in the most resolute voice of order:

"Since I was born, I have upheld justice in the world and protected order in the world. For countless years, the law has remained unchanged!"

This is the hope of the "Origin," and also the order of the present world.

And I am [Order]!

No matter what schemes or tricks you try to use to frame me, order is order, and it will never change.

I am at odds with [Chaos], and I am very wary of it, so I will not allow it to impersonate me.

Since [Memory] has recklessly altered memories, then I will examine the evidence and nail [Memory] to the very foundation of the universal order!

After saying that, the Holy Light Codex disappeared.

Seeing the resolute nature of the [Iron Laws of Order], the pupils of everyone present shrank. Cheng Shi immediately looked at the Dragon King. There was no role of [Memory] in this plan at all. Now that such a change has occurred, how can it be reversed?

Li Jingming remained calm and composed. He waved his hand to reassure the two people in front of him, and then the azure power of [Memory] in his hand rippled out, opening a door made of flowing light of memories in front of them.

Cheng Shi was taken aback. He had never seen this door before and asked in surprise, "What is this?"

Li Jingming chuckled:

"A shortcut to the [Memory] Museum."

Don't panic, I'm telling the truth. The museum does indeed have records of evidence that chaos is order.

Cheng Shi still couldn't believe it. In his understanding, if [Memory] didn't object, it was already a form of support. How could it possibly be genuinely helping [Fraud] cover up the truth?

Doesn't He hate the God of Joy invading His collection and smearing His treasures?

Cheng Shi felt something was off and frowned, asking, "Did the [memory] already know everything?"

The Dragon King shook his head: "No, He just found out."

"???"

Before Cheng Shi could ask any more questions, Li Jingming stepped into the azure doorway.

Cheng Shi looked puzzled, feeling that something was off, but out of trust in the Dragon King, he followed him into the room. Li Wufang followed nervously after the two left.

A dense power of [memory] instantly enveloped him. He felt a darkness before his eyes followed by a flash, and he found himself in a pure white museum.

Countless artifacts hung on the pure white wall, each one blurry and indistinct. Only the artifact on the wall in front of the three was exceptionally clear, and its contents were a book of constitutions radiating a twisted power, frantically pouring out a murky yellow force.

Although one cannot sense the power from outside the artifacts, the color alone is enough to tell that it is definitely not the dazzling power of "Order"!

Instead, it resembles a murky, viscous force of chaos!

As the constitution of the Grand Tribunal, and as the manifestation of "order" in the present world, how could a force resembling "chaos" appear on the "Iron Laws of Order"?

He just said that He has never given chaos any opportunity to take advantage of it!

Now, everything recorded in this [Memory] collection has undoubtedly slapped the [Iron Laws of Order] in the face!

He could no longer deny that he had been "contaminated" by the chaos, but that wasn't the most crucial point. The most crucial point was that He seemed to have forgotten this memory!

What does this mean?!

This suggests that either He was fully aware that He had been affected by Chaos and was no longer in order, but deliberately concealed this memory for the sake of the stability and dignity of Order; or He had already been replaced by Chaos, becoming confused without realizing it!
