This mountain is truly full of treasures; even a random wild grass can be a medicinal herb. He had dug up quite a few along the way, completely ignoring what the old man wanted today.

He also liked the wildflowers by the roadside and the outstretched branches. He simply chopped them down with a sickle and looked at the path he had tidied with satisfaction.

He's incredibly clever, Xu Anbai thought to himself.

Guan Mingyue and Xie Huaqin chatted casually, digging here and there, but the medicine the old man was looking for was indeed quite difficult to find.

Lin Yu and Jiang Miao, a young couple, finally found some time alone together, and even while searching for medicinal herbs, they were incredibly affectionate. They would hold hands, then shyly turn their heads away when they looked at each other; when the atmosphere was right, they were absolutely adorable.

The buzzing of bees filled the air as Xu Anbai ran wildly, waving his hands wildly in the air like an inflatable mannequin at the entrance of a large supermarket.

The old man sighed "Oh dear," and quickly led people home to apply the medicine. Everyone was almost done, so we had to stop here for today.

After he got back and applied the ointment, everyone asked him how he got stung by a bee. Xu Anbai lowered his head and slowly answered.

"Oh, I saw its nest, and it was dripping honey, it looked so delicious, I couldn't resist bringing it home. So, so I did it. Who knew it would chase me so closely."

He's starting to slur his words now. Yun Nuan curiously leaned closer to look at his face from left to right. It looked like the little dog she'd seen online that got stung by a bee, but Xu Anbai's face was blue now.

She found it hilarious as she watched, so she turned to Qin Yan and said...

"He's that meme, hahaha!" She not only teased but also imitated him, and everyone else burst into laughter at her imitation. Xu Anbai looked at her with a mournful expression.

Qin Yan lightly tapped her head. "Speak properly, and don't be a glutton like him. Otherwise, you'll be the next one like him!"

Yun Nuan smiled and shook her head. With this example in mind, she couldn't steal honey from the bees, or she would suffer the same fate.

Jiang Miao put her phone back in her pocket, then hugged him, amused. "This isn't a special situation, and you're happy here, aren't you?"

He snorted. He was happy here, but he couldn't hold Jiang Miao for a whole day. Either Guan Mingyue was clinging to him, or she was talking to Yun Nuan.

Then they just disappeared, even though they were clearly dating!

Lin Yu straightened up, looked down at her, and said, "Can we continue what we weren't doing earlier?" He asked very seriously, knowing he wouldn't continue if Jiang Miao refused.

Jiang Miao's ears turned red. Why would this person ask such a question? Her eyes darted away, and her tone was light and airy.

"Don't ask."

He placed his hand on the side of her neck, looking at her blushing ears, and smiled ambiguously. He slowly lowered his head until he captured that blushing hue, then closed his eyes in satisfaction.

Everyone was resting, so Lin Yu wasn't worried about being disturbed, and the two kissed passionately and earnestly. But they overlooked one person: Yun Nuan.

After Yun Nuan finished her medicine and saw that Qin Yan hadn't returned yet, she sent him a message and slowly moved out. Just as she reached the stairs, she looked up and, wow, it was like a scene from an idol drama.

This was the second time she had seen such a scene. She skillfully covered her eyes with her hands and then opened them. Finally, she turned around and went back to the main hall, staring blankly at the medicinal food.

Lin Yu gently invaded her tongue, and she placed her hands weakly on his chest. The kiss ended when they were both panting and embracing each other.

She suddenly thought of Qin Yan, how he spoke gently to her, how he coaxed her, and the fact that he had said she could only trouble him.

Thinking about what it would be like if she were like Qin Yan, wouldn't that be... wouldn't that be... She blushed as she thought about it.

Just then, a sound came from the doorway, and the door opened from the outside. Qin Yan, dressed in a black windbreaker, appeared in the doorway. She was so startled that she stood up and met his gaze.
