Chapter 5 Return to the Jian Family Mansion

When Jian Qianqian returned to the Jian family villa, Jian Xi had not returned yet, but her adoptive mother Li Feier and Li Yujin immediately surrounded her.

Seeing the bandage on Jian Qianqian's arm, Li Feier immediately put down the teacup beside her and carefully walked forward to pull her over.

"Really? How come I got hurt after going to the hospital?"

Looking at the worry on Li Feier's face, Jian Qianqian was a little surprised. Could it be that Li Feier was really worried about Jian Qianqian?

"My daughter, look, this is the difference between family and those who are not. I, your mother, would never bear to let you get hurt!"

After seeing Jian Qianqian's bandaged arm, Jian Xi immediately squatted down with a look of heartache and asked Jian Qianqian why this happened?

Li Feier changed the concept and directed the conflict towards Jian Qianqian.

Jian Qianqian raised her head and looked at Li Feier, then walked around Li Feier and threw herself into Jian Xi's arms, then shook her head silently at Jian Xi.

Although Jian Xi felt sorry for Jian Qianqian, he was not stupid after all. He looked at Jian Qianqian who was shaking her head in silence.

Did you realize that your daughter didn't want her adoptive mother and others to stay with you?

Jian Xi was very suspicious. Jian Qianqian was in Jian Xi's arms. She glanced at Li Feier coldly, then said in a deep voice as if warning: "I have a father!"

With a father and a home, there is no need for Li Feier and the others to move in!

Before Li Feier could react to the meaning of Jian Qianqian's words, Jian Xi had already pulled Jian Qianqian with pity and brought her back to his room.

Jian Xi was worried about Jian Qianqian's injury. While applying medicine to her again as requested by Jian Qianqian, he carefully asked her what had just happened between her and her adoptive mother.

Jian Qianqian put down her arms and pretended to look at the stuffed toys around her, but her tone was filled with a hint of heartbreaking grievance.

"Dad, my adoptive mother said she was my mother, but I remember that she wasn't my biological mother! She only raised me for a few years, how could she be my mother?"

After hearing what Jian Qianqian said, Jian Xi was stunned for a long while before he asked Jian Qianqian in a serious tone: "Did she, did she say that to you? To let you continue to call her mom?"

Jian Qianqian nodded obediently: "Well, she said to me as soon as she came, Dad, you are my dad. And she is not my mother, right?"

There was a hint of sadness in Jian Qianqian's innocent eyes, which made Jian Xi frown subconsciously.

But Jian Xi didn't reveal much. He just comforted Jian Qianqian and said that he would handle the matter and would not make his little darling feel embarrassed.

"Dad, let's go to the old house! My uncle will be in trouble if my third brother doesn't forgive me!"

Jian Qianqian's words made Jian Xi's heart ache again. Although everyone said that his little darling was ignorant, only Jian Xi knew that his little darling would never do such an outrageous thing as pushing someone.

But now, no evidence has been found to prove Xiaoguai's innocence.

"Xiaoguai... Daddy is useless. Daddy failed to protect Xiaoguai!"

Jian Xi had just finished saying this when she felt Jian Qianqian throw herself into her arms. She asked him in a muffled voice whether he believed her or not, that she really did not push her third brother.

"I believe Xiaoguai, of course I believe you! Our Qianqian would never do such a thing!"

Jian Xi had just finished saying this when he heard Jian Qianqian chuckle. When he lowered his head to look at Jian Qianqian, he saw that Jian Qianqian, who had been depressed, now had a satisfied and warm smile on her face.

"Then Dad believes in me, that's enough!"

Jian Qianqian's smile was like a warm little sun, which warmed Jian Xi's heart. Jian Xi couldn't help but reach out and gently pat Jian Qianqian's head.

But when Jian Xi turned his head and didn't face Jian Qianqian, the smile froze on his face.

He can't be so cowardly anymore, nor can he push everything onto his elder brother!

The matter of Jian Junze must have a conclusion, and Jian Xi has begun to think so now. At least, no matter what, he must get evidence that can prove Jian Qianqian's innocence!

Early the next morning, Jian Qianqian was taken by Jian Xi to the Jian family's old house.

When coming out of the villa, Jian Qianqian did not see Li Feier and Li Yujin.

She looked at Jian Xi again, but found that Jian Xi was in a tense state. Jian Qianqian couldn't help but sigh.
