Chapter 971 Excellent Assessment Results

Chapter 971 Excellent Assessment Results

The shooting assessment of the Shen Ce Guards began quickly under Luo Chong's order. The shooting assessment was mainly divided into three types of firearms in various postures.

Rifle standing, kneeling, and prone positions, each of which shoots 15 bullets. The shooting distances are 300 meters, 400 meters, and 500 meters respectively. Each position at each distance shoots five bullets. After all the shooting is completed, the number of rings is compared, and the final assessment result is based on the number of rings.

Then there is the shotgun rapid-fire reaction assessment. The shooting field is set up in an arc shape, and the target positions are arranged according to the dial. They are fan-shaped shooting areas from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock, and fixed targets are set according to the direction of the clock needle. During the assessment,

one soldier enters at a time. The examiner loudly announces the shooting direction behind the soldier. The soldier needs to shoot the target target in the direction according to the instruction. The assessment requires not only to hit the target, but also to hit the target in the direction mentioned. Otherwise, if the target is hit incorrectly, it will be treated as a miss.

The shotgun shooting assessment is eight bullets per person, and there is only one round, all standing shooting, and the reaction speed is required.

The last part is the self-defense shooting test of the short-barreled shotgun. The short-barreled shotgun equipped by the soldiers is uniformly inserted into the cowhide holster on the right leg. During the test, the soldiers lie on the ground in a prone position, holding the rifle with both hands in a shooting posture. When they hear the examiner blow the whistle, they must immediately throw away the rifle, and then draw the gun from the holster on the thigh to shoot. Each person has a total of four shots, two 20-meter targets in the front and two 15-meter targets in the back. The entire shooting process cannot be stood up, and it must be completed on the ground.

The purpose of this test is to simulate how to quickly repel the enemy when the enemy rushes to the front of your position. Also, when you are lying on the ground with a rifle shooting at the enemy in front, suddenly an enemy sneaks up from the back and touches you close. At this time, the soldier must quickly draw the gun and shoot in self-defense to knock down the sneak attacking enemy.

This test is also one round for each person. Only the rifle has three postures and three distances for shooting. The shotgun is faster, so the whole test process is also very fast.

The soldiers of the Shen Ce Guard were scattered in three different shooting ranges for assessment at the same time, and then rotated, just like their usual shooting training. The entire assessment was completely completed from 8 am to 2 pm. The instructors also quickly compiled the score sheets and showed them to Luo Chong.

While all the soldiers went to eat, Luo Chong, Qu Bing and the people from the Shen Ce Guard headquarters looked at the assessment results of these soldiers.

Luo Chong checked the performance of the queue and assassination uniformly, which was not used as the scoring standard. All the scores of the soldiers were still judged according to the results of the shooting assessment.

Short-spray self-defense shooting, a total of four shots, a total of six points, one point for hitting a target, and the remaining two points were scored by the examiner based on the soldier's shooting accuracy and reaction speed. Shotgun

rapid-fire assessment, a total of eight shots, a total of ten points, one point for each target, and the remaining two points were also scored according to reaction speed and shooting accuracy.

Finally, there was the rifle assessment. The rifle shooting had a total of 45 bullets, three distances and three postures, that is, a total of nine targets, five shots for each target, and a full ring of fifty rings.

For the three targets at 300 meters, if the score is below 30 rings, it is 0 points; if the score is between 30 and 40 rings, it is 1 point; if the score is between 40 and 50 rings, it is 2 points; if the score is between

50 and 50 rings, it is 3 points; for a total of 9 points. For the three targets at 400 meters, if the score is below 30 rings, it is 1 point; if the score is between 30 and 40 rings, it is 2 points;

if the score is between 40 and 50 rings, it is 3 points; for a total of 12 points. For the three targets at 500 meters, regardless of the number of rings, as long as the target can be hit, one point will be given for each shot. At this distance, if the target is still aimed with naked eyes, there is no need to ask how many rings can be hit; as long as the target can be hit, it is considered as good. Therefore, one point

will be given for each shot at 500 meters, for a total of 15 points. The entire rifle shooting test has a total of 36 points, 12 points are qualified, 24 points are good, 30 points or more are excellent, and

those who can get full marks are sharpshooters. Luo Chong casually flipped through the test results and was very satisfied with the overall performance of the soldiers. All the trained soldiers of the Shen Ce Guard can basically get about 6 to 7 points in the 300-meter rifle shooting, and 30% of them can get the full score of 9 points.

Among them, the results of prone shooting at 300 meters were the best, and many soldiers were able to score a full score of 50 rings, which was three points. Kneeling shooting was relatively stable, and basically two points could be obtained. Standing shooting was slightly worse, but at worst one point could be obtained.

The entire Shen Ce Guard had 2,400 trained soldiers, and none of them missed the target in the 300-meter rifle shooting.

Luo Chong was quite satisfied with this overall level, but it was also within his expectations. After all, so many bullets were used to feed it. If there was no such shooting accuracy, it would be a shame to provide so many bullets.

In addition, the 8mm bolt equipped by the Han tribe was also outstanding in accuracy, so it was not surprising that they could achieve this result.

You should know that the level of modern soldiers using the 95-type shooting is similar to that of the Han tribe now. After training, all recruits can generally achieve a good score of 95 rings with ten bullets at 300 meters. This is the effect of feeding with bullets.

In the 400-meter target shooting, the average score of the Shen Ce Guard soldiers can reach 8 points, and most soldiers can get more than 6 points, which is between 30 and 40 rings. It is relatively easy to get this score, because as long as you can hit the target, the number of rings will not be too bad. If you deviate too much, it is impossible to hit the target.

In the last 500-meter shooting, there are a total of 15 bullets shot in three postures. Even the worst shooter can hit three shots. Of course, the possibility of hitting by mistake is not ruled out.

However, the probability of hitting three shots by mistake in 15 shots is not very low.

The watershed of the final results appeared at the 500-meter target. The worst hit rate is generally around 3 or 4 shots, which can be classified as less than 5 points.

Then there are excellent shooters. Basically, 15 bullets of the 500-meter target can hit more than 10 shots. On the contrary, there are very few people in the middle range of 6 to 10.

In fact, this is easy to understand. The shooting level of those who scored three or four points in the front is really not good. Even with these three or four points, they can barely hit two bullets in prone shooting, and then hit one or two bullets in kneeling and standing shooting. This is the origin of their scores.

On the other hand, another group of excellent shooters are basically good shooters. In the 500-meter shooting, abandoning the concept of rings, they can all shoot well. Anyway, if you don’t look at the number of rings, just count the target rate, and basically you can hit more than 10 out of 15. This shows that they can really shoot, see, shoot accurately, and have grasped the tricks and techniques of shooting, and have their own experience.

Moreover, there are quite a few excellent shooters at the 500-meter target, reaching about 50%, almost 1,000 excellent shooters.

Therefore, the final comprehensive score is that all members can reach the passing line of 12 points. The group of people who just passed can reach 25% of the total number, and the good grade with a total score of more than 24 points can reach 60% of the total number. The excellent shooters with a total score of more than 30 points can reach 15% of the total number.

The reason why the good score of more than 24 points accounts for such a high proportion is mainly because the final 500-meter target has too many extra points, so this phenomenon occurs. What

is even more surprising is that a group of super sharpshooters emerged in this assessment, with a total score of more than 35 points, including 35 and 36 points.

There are actually 12 sharpshooters among the 2,400 soldiers in the whole army. To be honest, the probability of one in 200 people is quite high.

What is most surprising is that seven of these twelve people are from the south. Among the 600 new recruits from the herdsmen in the three counties of Honghu in the grassland, there are five sharpshooters, and two of the 200 new recruits from Takuhai County. The remaining five are from the 1,600 people in the eight counties of Hanyang.

It is not difficult to see from this that the shooting level of the new recruits from the herdsmen and those southern soldiers is the highest, while the production rate of sharpshooters among the people in the old base of the Han tribe is not high.

Qubing was also very surprised when he saw the statistical results. He speculated and said,

"Chief, do you think it is because those herdsmen often ride horses and shoot arrows since they were young, and they have basically never read books, so their eyesight and shooting talent are better.

"And the people of our eight counties of Hanyang, even before they were engaged in farming, they mainly used traps and weapons such as spears and javelins when hunting. In addition, the eight counties of Hanyang were the first to popularize education, and here were the first to popularize lamps. Under various reasons, the overall shooting level of the eight counties in the north is relatively low. "

Well, what you said is possible, but this question is not important. No matter where these soldiers come from, they are all people of our Han tribe, so it doesn't matter where they are from." Luo Chong thought about it, but couldn't think of any other reasons. Qubing's analysis still made sense, so he nodded in agreement.

"Then chief, our current assessment results are out. How should we divide the organization in the future?" After listening to Luo Chong's words, Qubing no longer bothered about the issue of the "origin" of the sharpshooter, but asked about the next army construction.

"Do we still need to choose this? Just go down according to the rifle shooting results. Remember, no matter how powerful the shotgun is, we are an army with rifles as our main weapon, so the Shen Ce Guards have the most riflemen.

"Our smallest squad of nine people is organized into three tactical groups. Each tactical group consists of two precision shooters covering one assaulter. So each squad has six riflemen and three assaulters. According to this ratio of arms and the assessment results, we will select them from the top to the bottom.

"Those with good rifle shooting scores will be riflemen, and then the assaulters will be selected according to their shotgun shooting scores. With this configuration, they will be reorganized into three battalions. The total strength of the three battalions is 2,189 people. There are a total of 2,400 soldiers in the Shen Ce Guard, so there are 211 soldiers with the worst scores left. These two hundred people will be directly under the command of your guard post. Arrange them as guards, messengers, and logistics transport teams.

"Then there is the issue of officers. The officers at the squad level are mainly the squad leader and deputy squad leader, as well as a fire group leader, a total of three people. They are promoted from the soldiers according to their shooting results. Select two who are good at rifle shooting to be the squad leader and deputy squad leader, and then select one who is good at shotgun shooting to be the fire group leader. In wartime, they are responsible for commanding and leading three shotgun assaulters.

"Next are the platoon leader, deputy platoon leader and instructor. They will be appointed by your instructor corps. In addition, each platoon will set up a platoon headquarters. In addition to the platoon leader, deputy platoon leader and instructor, another nine people will be sent to form a logistics squad, responsible for food, ammunition, and other miscellaneous matters.

"Then there are the company commander, deputy company commander, and instructor. They will also be appointed by the instructor corps. Each company will set up a company headquarters. In addition to the three chief officers, there will be two logistics squads of nine people, plus the company chief, a total of twenty-one people.

"Finally, there are the battalion commander, deputy battalion commander, and instructor. It is the same as the company and platoon. The logistics squad is increased to three squads with 27 people, plus the three chief officers, a total of thirty people.

"There are 2,400 soldiers in the Shen Ce Guard, plus 200 instructors from the Jin Wu Guard, a total of 2,600 people. After the personnel are arranged according to the organization I just mentioned, all the remaining people will be directly under your command.

"The above, I am talking about the regular army of the Shen Ce Guard, that is, the combat troops. Regarding the requirements for the reorganization of the troops, I have two requirements. First, on the basis of the existing organization, the personnel should be transferred as little as possible, because they have lived together for a month and are familiar with each other, which is more convenient for subsequent tactical training.

"Second, as with the previous organization, the household registration must be evenly distributed. Don't let one class be full of herdsmen, or one class be full of people from our northern eight counties. This will easily cause problems. They must be mixed together.

"The last thing is about your expedition. When you arrive at the camp in the north, you must recruit young and strong people from the local area and train a militia team. They will act with you in combat and serve as your auxiliary soldiers. They are mainly used to transport ammunition, food, and capture and escort prisoners and other auxiliary tasks.

"When the time comes, you will teach them the skills you learned to capture prisoners and give them some simple training. I have already ordered more than 20,000 pairs of handcuffs for you. These handcuffs are for the militiamen, not for you. When the time comes, you will send combat troops to the front and let the auxiliary soldiers follow you to capture prisoners. Otherwise, if you capture prisoners by yourself, you will have to fight, capture prisoners, and guard them. You will definitely not have enough troops. For some auxiliary tasks, you can just leave them to the auxiliary soldiers."

Luo Chong explained to Qubing the formal organization and reorganization plan of the Shen Ce Guard, and then explained the future expedition matters.

Qubing only realized now that Luo Chong had made so many handcuffs to equip the militiamen, not for them.

When he first saw the handcuffs, Qubing was still worried. It was really unnecessary for the soldiers of the Shen Ce Guard to equip them with them. The soldiers all used firearms. If they hit the enemy with these handcuffs, they would either die or be injured. Of course, in this era, if they were hit, there would be basically no chance of survival. Therefore, it would be difficult for them to capture prisoners unless they surrounded the enemy and forced them to surrender.

Moreover, although the handcuffs were not heavy, a pair of handcuffs weighed only eight taels. However, each soldier of the Shen Ce Guard had to be equipped with more than two weapons, plus ammunition for the two weapons, as well as water bottles and backpacks. The weight that a single soldier had to carry was already very heavy. If they carried several pairs of handcuffs, it would be an extra burden, which would have a great impact on the soldiers' actions.
