The world was deathly silent.

A ray of sunlight leaked through the gap between the mech's left arm and the body, shining into the canopy, where dust floated.

Bea Triss desperately resisted the urge to swallow.

The Zhou Weiss before me was oppressive, cold-blooded, and ruthless enough to kill without blinking an eye for survival.

Li Changzhou's eyes darted around, but his retina didn't capture anything. His eyes followed his hearing and intuition, as if there was an optical display in his mind showing him the enemy's tracks.

The humanoid black mist tilted its head, as if puzzled, or perhaps warming up for something.

Beatrice's slender neck rolled up and down; she was almost unable to control her body's instinct to swallow.

"Gurgle—"

Li Changzhou slammed the right control lever!

The mech raised its right arm and fired—bang!

The sound of being hit came.

Press and hold the 'hand-leg switch' button, the mech covers the cockpit with its left hand and starts running at full speed.

Rat-a-tat-tat! Another power armored vehicle opened fire to provide cover!

Li Changzhou seemed oblivious to everything, his gaze fixed on the left arm of the mecha in front of him, still staring at the optical display in his mind, his body motionless and expressionless.

The sound of an object hitting the ground.

He suddenly looked up!

With a bang, the mech accelerated with its jet propulsion, instantly arriving in front of the fallen power armor.

Pull the left joystick back to open the left arm.

The power armor lay before me, and I was taking aim.

Li Changzhou's expression remained unchanged. He pushed the right joystick forward, pressed the button, and fired the 20mm cannon.

The mecha's left arm drooped limply, but its right arm retracted in time, blocking the aftershocks of the explosion.

Boom! The mech's left leg buckled to the ground.
