"The situation is turning grim," one said.
"Hasn't it always been like this?" came the reply.
...
Eagles soar through the sky, fish dart in the shallow waters,...
They had no money in their pockets, but their clothes made them look wealthy, and they were also very beautiful. The weapon shop owner was very enthusiastic, answering all their questions without reservation.
After leaving the weapon shop and buying a map, the five of them didn't linger and immediately teleported to the Kingdom of Erta.
If you want to play adventurer games, you can wait until after the great battle; now is not the time for entertainment.
The kingdom's capital resembled a round pizza, neatly divided into several triangular sections, with two large rivers running through the middle, and bustling streets.
I really wanted to walk around the city, but I went straight into the palace built of granite.
"Japanese?" Zheng Qing was taken aback.
In the magnificent and exquisite corridors of the palace, a man in a suit is accompanying a blue-haired girl.
The girl was dressed in an extravagantly gorgeous long dress and wore a crown on her head.
“Mr. Yamada,” the girl’s voice was as clear as a bird’s song, “I’ve heard that there are many delicious foods in Japan?”
“Yes,” the elite man named Yamada replied with a smile. “The ice cream, mochi, tempura, and sukiyaki that I gave the princess before were only a very small part of the meal.”
"I really look forward to going to Japan," the princess couldn't help but yearn for it.
"Your Highness, you will surely love Japan. I've heard you enjoy taking baths. Japan is also a country that loves taking baths, with hot springs everywhere."
"Really?" The princess's eyes lit up, then she sighed. "How wonderful it would be if the two worlds could live in peace."
“I also yearn for peace, but…” Yamada paused for a moment, “the decisions of the five major parliamentary powers are absolute on Earth.”
"Please rest assured, Mr. Yamada, the Kingdom of Erta will help Japan."
Yamada looked at the beautiful and kind girl in front of him, his eyes softening. Just as he was about to say something, a soldier dressed as a soldier walked over and whispered a few words in his ear.
Yamada looked at the princess apologetically and bid her farewell.
Li Qianxia and the others followed Yamada to a conference room.
The two people sitting at the head of the meeting room were clearly the King and Queen.
The king was dressed in royal armor and had a heroic appearance; the queen wore a gorgeous dress that revealed a patch of white skin on her chest, and had a beautiful face and noble demeanor.
The people sitting on the right side of the long table were all dressed as nobles and adventurers from another world.
On the left side of the long table, the monks—one in a black suit, one in a green military uniform, one in a white yin-yang robe, one in a red and white shrine maiden outfit, and one with a bald head—were Japanese.
Even though they knew the other party couldn't see them, and in front of so many people—most of whom were players—Li Qianxia and her group of five still subconsciously slowed their breathing.
“Your Majesty,” Yamada began, “Earth has indeed organized a coalition, and will enter this world tomorrow.”
"What? Tomorrow?"
Not to mention the otherworldly beings who were so surprised they stood up, Li Qianxia and the others were also terrified.
That's the Allied forces, so many people, how could they possibly break in tomorrow?
The value of the game lies in its convenience—teleportation arrays, etc. The value of the other world is immense—the technology to lock onto the other world is coveted by all nations. But since the decision-makers are human, how could such high efficiency be possible?
For example, how are the spoils divided after the battle?
Li Qianxia thought for a moment and remembered something her older brother had once said: "No matter how good something is, it's all just empty talk if you don't get your hands on it." She thought that all countries were planning to take over the other world first before talking about anything else.
When did we become so united?
"Yes, the Cabinet will receive notification from the five major parliaments tomorrow." Yamada said solemnly.
"Our army is still assembling, and only a portion of adventurers from around the world have arrived," a minister said.
“A portion is enough.” Another nobleman appeared extremely bloodthirsty.
"You Japanese just let other countries enter your territory?" a heavily armored warrior said sarcastically. "Didn't you say that Japan is the land where the sun rises? How can you be so spineless?"
The Japanese samurai, with his hands tucked into his sleeves, raised his gaze.
Yamada adjusted his glasses: "The Japanese are undoubtedly the most principled people on Earth, but they are helpless against a large and powerful evil force."
"Does the evildoer refer to the 'Five Parliamentary States'?" asked a handsome man dressed as a prince.
"On Earth, these five countries are known as rogue states, which have started wars all over the world. This Earth Alliance is mainly composed of them."
"Mr. Yamada," the Queen's voice was elegant, "what are Japan's plans? What role does it intend to play in this battle?"
The king remained silent, like a statue.
“Japan is a country that yearns for peace.” Yamada glanced at the king and replied, “We will help you drive the Earth Alliance out of this world.”
The Queen nodded in satisfaction.
“However,” Yamada feigned hesitation, “please understand Japan’s difficulties. We absolutely cannot let Earth know that we are helping you. Therefore, we must immediately close the portal after the Earth Alliance enters.”
“Closing the portal was part of our plan,” a nobleman agreed.
"Furthermore, we Japanese citizens in the Kingdom of Erta must enjoy the same treatment as citizens of the Kingdom of Erta, and the two sides shall conclude a treaty of friendship."
A slightly overweight minister stared into Yamada's eyes and said, "Japan also has an obligation to make room on Earth for the Kingdom of Erta, where we will build an inconspicuous teleportation portal."
“That’s fair,” Yamada said. “However, a clause must be added to the agreement: ‘Those who travel to Earth must not disclose their cooperation with Japan in any form.’”
Everyone nodded; these were all things that had been discussed beforehand, and this was just a confirmation.
