"Della! Aren't you going to do anything?!" one of the warriors guarding the child shouted, his eyes fixed on the approaching corpse.

Della stood behind the bar: "A contest between 'great powers,' you want me to interfere?"

"This is your shop!" another soldier cursed angrily.

"That's right, this is my shop, I can do whatever I want."

Everyone stared at the corpse.

The upper body of the corpse remained motionless, while the two legs moved forward smoothly like a machine; the way they walked alone was chilling.

Moreover, the one controlling this corpse is a holder of 'Great Power' whose abilities are unknown, whose identity is hidden, and who possesses near-perfect combat skills.

A battle between 'great power' and 'great power'... Astute adventurers have already begun their march towards the tavern door.

“You—” the child began, pointing to the soldier closest to the gate, “Go up.”

His fingertips glowed with a brilliant green light; upon closer inspection, one could see countless tiny green particles moving irregularly.

These green particles of light resembled a pack of hungry, ferocious beasts, with the reins in the child's hands.

As soon as he lets go, the green light particles will immediately devour the target's life force.

The soldier being pointed at pushed off the ground with both feet and charged suddenly toward the gate.

A cold smile appeared on the child's lips, and amidst the smile, a green light exploded.

Another corpse lay stiffly on the ground.

Because of the freezing weather, the heavy tavern doors were tightly shut, secured with equally heavy wooden strips, ensuring that no one could escape before the green light claimed their lives.

The child looked around the hall, revealing a sinister ruthlessness that was definitely not typical of a child.

"I don't know who did it, but since you don't dare to show yourself directly in front of me, it proves that your 'great power' is inferior to mine." A sinister smile spread across his lips. "From now on, no one is allowed to leave!"

Everyone gasped in shock and fear, realizing his intention—

The holder of the 'great power' that controls corpses wants to obtain the child's 'great power,' and the child also wants to obtain the other's 'great power'!

Neither side will stop fighting until they obtain the other's 'great power,' and everyone present will die one by one in their battle!

“Little brat,” Della said, her breath catching in her throat as if she were forcing herself to speak, “death only adds to the enemy’s ranks. Are you sure you want to keep killing?”

“The other one!” Della looked at the guests one by one. “Stop it. You should know that if you keep fighting, you’ll end up dead too!”

Tali was trembling violently, and Li Changzhou could hear the sound of her teeth chattering and clattering.

Continuing to fight is unwise; who knows if the child will point a finger at them next...

The child looked rather unwell. Everyone present, except for the soldiers guarding him, was staring at him, his hands on his weapons.

These people may have different purposes for coming here, but at this moment, they are only concerned about their own lives—the 'great power' that controls the corpses has let go, and the only thing that can threaten their lives right now is the child, so they naturally unite.

Even more so, a hint of greed and excitement flashed in their eyes when they looked at the child.

If we swarm in, we might be able to kill the enemy; this is an opportunity to gain 'great power'!

One of the henchmen whispered a few words to the child, who glared at him fiercely before reluctantly lowering his hand.

"We'll meet in the abyss," the child said, before leaving under the close protection of his men.

"Phew!" Della exhaled, then cursed, "What a mess this morning! What a damn bad luck. You guys better eat now, and then get out of here!"
