Osborne Karagaran rudely burst into Catherine Wood Woodcraft during the woodworking shop's lunch break.

The woodworking shop's studio was peaceful. Master Catherine and her apprentice, Zoe, sat in the back room, chatting and eating lunch. Hersong, speaking to Euridsi, was still refining the carving on an armchair. His carving knife clicked rhythmically, and the air was filled with the aroma of wood, creating a tranquil atmosphere.

However, a sound of kicking the door suddenly broke the tranquility of the carpentry shop——

With a loud "bang", the door of the studio was kicked open, and the tools hanging on the wall were shaken and made a "clang" sound.

Catherine and Zoe stood up in shock and rushed to Hesong and Oulidesi. Hesong's face instantly turned cold.

It was Osborne Karagarang.

After the Queen's Birthday Feast, Osborne was expelled from the Order of Ravenmont. He no longer wore the beautiful silver armor of the Order, but instead wore the "Rose Scepter" cloak of the Carragalan family. He carried no sword, but a bracer on his right wrist and a riding whip in his left.

"Hesong Karagaran." Osborne looked at Hesong coldly, and the whip in his hand hit Hesong's workbench with a "snap".

Hesong put down the carving knife in his hand and walked in front of Master Catherine and the apprentice Zoe - he walked to the front and blocked them; while Master Catherine and Zoe quietly blocked Olidesi.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Hesong said, his tone steady and emotionless.

Osborne sneered: "Do you think we don't know what good things you and Euridice Arquitas have done?"

“…”

Hesong didn't answer, and Osborne looked furious. Suddenly, the noble swung his whip at Hesong's head and face!

The whip's shadow made a "snap" sound in mid-air, and the apprentice Zoe screamed in surprise. He Song quickly grabbed a piece of wood nearby and blocked it in front of himself.

The whip cracked against the wooden board, sending sawdust flying. Osborne was furious. "Ha, you filthy bastard! You dare to resist me?"

He swung the whip beside him again and said, "Do you think that you can fight against the Karagaran family by licking the boots of Euridice Arquitas and being her dog? Dream on in the abyss!"

In the studio, sawdust and dust flew up. Master Catherine frowned and walked between them, saying in an unpleasant tone, "Please leave immediately! If you don't, we will notify the Knights!"

Hesong took half a step forward, blocking Master Catherine behind him, and his tone was still calm: "I just stopped licking your boots and stopped being your dog, Osborne Karagaran."

Osborn's eyes suddenly lit up with anger: "You dirty, lowly bastard—"

Before Osborn finished speaking, a silver knife suddenly flew towards Osborn!

Years of knight training made Osborn subconsciously tilt his head when the silver knife cut through the air, but his cheek still felt a slight pain: the knife scratched his cheek, leaving a scar.

The vein on Osborne's forehead jumped. He gritted his teeth and uttered the name that he hated so much: "Eurydsey Arquitas!"

Olidisi walked out leisurely with his hands behind his back and a cheerful smile on his face.

"Alas," she said, "it's a pity the knife didn't split your head open."

She walked slowly to Hesong's side and shook her head regretfully: "What a shame, what a shame. How come a smart person like Alex Karagaran died, but a fool like you survived?"

Osborn flew into a rage when he heard Ollydsey mention Alex's name.

"You lowly bitch, how dare you say his name—"

"Oh, fool," Olidesi said with a smile full of malice, "Did I kill Alex Karajalang? Do you dare to repeat my words? 'Whoever kills Alex Karajalang will fall into the abyss of the Ethereal Continent tonight' - do you dare to repeat these words?"

Osborne's fingers gripping the whip suddenly stiffened.

Olidesi nodded with a smile: "It seems that you are not too stupid. You also know very clearly who killed Alex Karagaran, right?"

Osborne's cheek twitched, and his grip on the whip suddenly paused strangely.

"Euridice Arquitas," he said.

Oledsi raised her eyebrows. Osborne stared at her and suddenly said, "Why are you doing this?"

“…”

"I know it was you. I know you did all this. Lorenz Ebrard loves you very much, and everything he did must have been at your behest."

Ollydesy remained silent. Osborn stared at her, "But why are you targeting Alex? It was me who knocked off your earring at the Queen's banquet. If you want revenge, you should come after me. Alex didn't do anything to you. Why Alex?"

As Osborne said this, the muscles in his cheeks twitched uncontrollably, and a look of pain flashed in his eyes. Olidisi stared at him in amazement: "Oh, the relationship between you two brothers is actually quite good."

Before Osborne could get angry again, Olidesi shrugged nonchalantly and spread his hands. "Well, I hate Alex Caragaran, probably because he's been trying his best to help Prince Constance, and Prince Constance killed me. Is that right?"

Osborn stared at her in disbelief. "What nonsense are you talking about?"

Ollydesi grinned and made a face at him. Osborn's fingers, gripping the whip, began to tremble. "What do you mean by 'Constance killed you'? You're clearly alive and well. You resent Alex just because of your own imagination? You're a lunatic!"

"Yes," Oledsi tilted her head. "I'm crazy. I'm also a witch, the kind that gets burned. Maybe all witches are crazy."

Osborne's face muscles twitched, and he obviously hated Euridice. The young noble raised his whip high and was about to hit her on the head -

However, Olidesi didn't shy away. Instead, he said with a smile, "Your father, mother, and sister didn't allow you to cause trouble with us, did they? If they knew you disobeyed their orders and instructions and came to the citizens' shop to make a scene, how would they treat you?"

Osborn's fingers froze in mid-air, as if he had been cast under a spell.

And Oulidisi leisurely stretched out his hand and gently brushed away the sawdust and dust that had fallen on his shoulder.

"Oh, poor creature," she said. "Since you were born, you have been the dumbest of your siblings. You have never participated in any family decision-making, nor have you made any contribution to the family. Even the small matter of 'revenge on Euridice Aquitas', you can't do it for your family - because you are simple-minded and can't plan any thorough plan that doesn't involve the Caragaran family."

Osborn's face was grim, his fists were clenched, and veins on his forehead were throbbing.

The next moment, he gritted his teeth and threw his cloak heavily: "Just wait and see!"

Osborne turned and left, and the wooden door was slammed again by him, making a deafening noise; after the huge noise, the carpentry shop returned to silence again.

Hesong looked in the direction where Osborne Karagaran left, and his shoulders suddenly slumped.

Olidesi looked at Hesong and praised him, "You're doing very well, Hesong. That's how it should be. The calmer you are, the angrier they will be."

"I... wasn't that calm," He Song said honestly. "My legs were weak and I couldn't move at all."

Olidisi was stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter.

Master Catherine also smiled, and together with the apprentice Zoe, she supported Hesong and helped him sit down slowly on the chair.

"Oulidsi," Hesong pounded his leg, still a little worried, "You've completely angered Osborne. He's a rude and impulsive man. He might do something bad to the woodworking shop."

"Oh," laughed Euridice, "I was expecting him to do something bad."

Hesong was startled, and the murderous intent in Oulidesi's smile became even stronger: "If he doesn't do bad things, I can't kill him. Just wait and see, something big will happen in the carpentry shop tonight."

That night, an uninvited guest did come to Euridsi's cottage on the South Hill.

South Hills is located outside of Ravenmont. The rustic cabin sits amidst a patch of abandoned farmland—the very same land that Oledsi had purchased. The cabin is simple, but immaculately kept, and the air is filled with the fresh scent of earth and vegetation.

In Olidesi's room, the small fireplace was burning brightly, and the flames illuminated the alchemy and potion-making instruments neatly arranged in the room.

Olidisi put down the conical flask in his hand, without raising his head, and said lightly: "Come in."

The window in the room made a slight sound and a figure jumped in from outside.

Lorenz Ebrard landed by the window, wearing a dark grey cloak, his blond hair a little messy from the night wind, and a few dead leaves on his shoulders.

Euridice glanced at him sideways, and a trace of embarrassment flashed across Lorenz's face.

"Duke Ebrard," Oulidesi teased, "Why is Princess Matilda's handsome and brave husband here in his ex-wife's humble cottage so late at night?"

Lorenz pursed his lips, looking a little aggrieved, like a big golden retriever abandoned by its owner.

"I did what you asked me to do." Lorenz said after a long pause, "I married Princess Matilda."

The room was silent for a moment, and then Oledsi laughed out loud: "Yes, very well done."

She stood up, walked over to him, and patted his shoulder, "Good boy."

Lorenz said sullenly, "Can I...can I hug you, Tisi?"

Euridice curled the corners of her lips and opened her arms tolerantly to Lorenz; Lorenz buried his face in her shoulder and finally sighed deeply.

His voice was muffled in her hair: "I... miss you."

Olidisi didn't speak immediately.

The firelight made her eyes shine. She gently reached out and hugged him back, her palms gently soothing his back twice.

"It's going very quickly," she said. "My plan... is already progressing very quickly."

Lorenz didn't move, just hummed in a muffled voice.

Olidisi looked toward the window. The moonlight fell on her potions and glassware, reflecting a hint of coldness.

She raised the corners of her lips slightly: "Alex is dead, and Osborn has been irritated by me and Herson to the point of completely losing his mind. Just wait and see, Osborn, that impatient and stupid guy, will soon lose his patience and attack me——"

However, before he could finish, Hesong knocked on Olidesi's door breathlessly: "Olidesi! Olidesi!"

Olidisi's eyes fixed, and he gently pushed Lorenz away; Lorenz had already flashed and disappeared through the window.

Olidisi calmly opened the door to the room and asked, "What's wrong, Hesong?"

Hesong was so panicked that his face turned pale.

"Oulidsi," his hands trembled uncontrollably, "the winged messenger has brought urgent news... the carpentry shop... the carpentry shop is on fire!"
