Jun Moran added, "That's right, and their expressions and eyes should also convey emotions, making it easier for the audience to empathize with them, rather than just seeing them as terrifying monsters." The special effects artists listened carefully to their suggestions and further optimized the effects accordingly.

With the initial completion of the virtual scenes and character effects, the next crucial step is to seamlessly integrate the effects with the filmed footage. This requires VFX artists to utilize advanced compositing techniques to precisely adjust the position, size, color, and lighting effects of each element, ensuring a seamless connection with the live-action performance.

In a scene where the protagonist, Xingyao, battles alien creatures on an interstellar battlefield, the visual effects artists needed to perfectly integrate the virtual alien creatures and interstellar warships with Ling Yichen's motion capture performance. They meticulously adjusted the alien creatures' attack trajectories to match Ling Yichen's dodging movements, while ensuring that the warship's explosion effects and laser beam launches were coordinated with the rhythm of the battle. To enhance the realism and tension of the battle, the artists also added numerous particle effects, such as sparks from energy explosions, the scattering of laser beams, and flying debris from warship wreckage. These particle effects flickered and drifted in interstellar space, interacting with the virtual scene and characters to create a chaotic yet vibrant battle environment.

The handling of lighting and shadow effects is also a crucial aspect of special effects production. In different scenes, lighting and shadow not only create atmosphere but also enhance visual impact. In the scene of the mysterious castle, the special effects artists designed a complex lighting system for the castle's interior. Sunlight streams through stained glass windows, creating dazzling patterns of light and shadow that are projected onto the floor and walls. As time passes, the angle and color of the light and shadow subtly change, seemingly reflecting the changes in light at different times of day. In key plot points, such as when the protagonist discovers the mysterious treasure in the castle, the special effects artists enhance the focusing and reflection of light to highlight the treasure's radiance, attracting the audience's attention and amplifying the protagonist's excitement and surprise.
