Huang Yaya asked Ruomei to take her around the mansion that day. Although she was a homebody and could stay at home for the entire winter vacation, she had to have her phone with her.

There was a large pond in the mansion. The lotus flowers had not yet bloomed, only a field of lush green lotus leaves. There was also a small pavilion in the center of the pond. Huang Yaya planned to go to the pavilion to admire the lotus leaves and take a rest.

The gentle breeze swayed the lotus leaves, making her feel tired and dizzy. She couldn't avoid drowsiness, so she leaned against the pavilion railing and fell asleep.

"Miss..." Ruomei called softly from the side, but seeing that there was no response from the other party, she had to stand aside.

When Huang Yaya woke up, she found that there was no one around. She called out twice: "Ruomei."

"Ruomei, where are you?"

The only answer she got was the sound of frogs hidden in the lotus pond. She waited for a short while, and when no one came, she stood up and planned to walk around on her own.

She walked along the corridor and saw a stone gate shaped like a crabapple flower on the right. There was a wooden sign on the door with the words "Fangyuan" written on it. This was a place she had never been to.

The Marquis's Mansion was huge, and there were many places she had not been to, but since she was already there, she decided to see what was inside, so she walked straight in.

At that moment, she finally understood what "another world" meant. "Fragrant Garden" actually meant a flower garden. Inside the garden was a rockery, and beside it were all sorts of flowers: red, blue, and yellow. While there were certainly many beautiful flowers, Huang Yaya recognized almost none of them. Climbing the garden walls were rose-red and pale pink roses.

She walked along the cobblestone path beneath her feet. As she continued forward, she saw some flowers she recognized, including the white and purple Platycodon grandiflorum that looked like a five-pointed star, and the small white jasmine with a unique fragrance.

She went forward and saw a large cluster of white lilies. Every time she smelled the fragrance of lilies, she would feel at ease. There were so many lilies here that she wanted to pick one or two and bring them to her room.

She felt a little reluctant, after all, the lilies grew freely here. But then again, flowers should be picked when they are in bloom. Thinking of this, she squatted down, stretched out her hands, and picked a lily with five buds.

"Where are you from, maid? How dare you come here to steal flowers?" said a middle-aged man holding a hoe.

The flower thief was caught in the act. Huang Yaya turned around awkwardly and put down the lily that had been pinched and broken. She apologized, "I'm sorry, I really like lilies, so I couldn't help but want to pick them."

"You are new here, right? Didn't your housekeeper teach you not to pick the flowers and plants in the mansion?" the middle-aged man asked.

"No." Huang Yaya replied awkwardly.

When she was a child, when she passed by someone else's yard and saw beautiful flowers, she couldn't help but pick one. At that time, her grandmother would smile and apologize to the old man who planted the flowers.

"What's your name? Who's the matron in charge? You're such a naughty little girl. I'll definitely ask her to discipline you."

Huang Yaya was just about to confess that it was Ruomei. After all, in such a big mansion, she only knew Huo Weixi, Ruomei, and Ruolan, and Ruomei had been taking care of her during this period.

"Miss, why are you here? It took me so long to find you!" Ruomei came over here panting, holding a green cloak in her hand.

When the middle-aged man saw Ruomei, he immediately flattered her, "It's Miss Ruomei, this unfamiliar lady is..."

Ruomei brushed past him and walked to Huang Yaya's side, replying unhappily, "Old Zhao, this is our Marquis's distinguished guest. You've offended him, so go to the steward and receive your punishment!"

Huang Yaya didn't feel offended. After all, she was the one who stole the flowers first. She explained, "Ruomei, I was the one who made the mistake first. He just told me that I shouldn't pick the flowers here randomly. Just let him go!"

Ruomei said in a gentle tone, "Miss, what have you done wrong? If you like any flowers, just tell me. Why bother picking them yourself?"

Then he turned to Lao Zhao and said, "The lady said she would spare you, and you still don't thank her."

Seeing that Lao Zhao was about to bend down and kneel, Huang Yaya hurriedly said: "No, no need to kneel, you are also doing your duty."

Old Zhao looked at Ruomei with a troubled expression. He didn't straighten his half-bent legs until she nodded. He said gratefully, "Thank you, young lady, for your generosity."

After Ruomei and Huang Yaya left Fangyuan, Old Zhao muttered, "When did a young lady come to the Marquis' Mansion? Could she be the future Marquis's wife?"

Thinking of this, he couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat, and lamented that it was fortunate that Ruomei came early so as not to offend this mysterious lady.

The two of them walked along the corridor, one in front of the other. Ruomei explained, "Just now, the wind started to blow in Zuihe Pavilion. I was afraid that the young lady would catch a cold if she fell asleep, so I wanted to go get a cloak. I didn't expect that the young lady was gone when I came back. I was so scared."

She didn't think she'd catch a cold. After all, she was wearing three or four layers of clothing, and even though they were all made of thin yarn, she still felt a bit warm. But in the end, it was all her fault for wandering around and causing Ruomei to worry. Huang Yaya said guiltily, "I'm sorry, I just wanted to take a walk."

"The lady is in a serious condition. It's my fault for not taking good care of her."

Huang Yaya felt a surge of guilt. Ruomei was usually very nice to her, even nicer than her own mother, yet she still made her worry so much.

"My Lord." Ruomei bowed to Huo Weixi who was walking towards them.

Huang Yaya looked in the direction of the voice and saw a tall and straight man in a navy blue brocade robe walking towards her in a hurry.

Huo Weixi walked up to him, hugged her tightly, and said in a panic, "Sister, I thought you would disappear like before."

She wanted to disappear, but the opposite happened. But when did this piece of wood become so proactive?

Huang Yaya heard his tone and must be very worried, so she reached out and patted him on the back and comforted him: "I'm just walking around."

Ruomei simply lowered her head and didn't look at the two people. She said guiltily, "My Lord, it's Ruomei's fault. I didn't take good care of the young lady. Please punish me, my Lord."

She wasn't a prisoner, but a living being with arms and legs. If she wanted to leave, who could stop her? She was also afraid that Huo Weixi would really punish Ruomei, so she argued for her, "It has nothing to do with Ruomei. My legs are on my body, and I just want to look around."

"Sister, I know! I won't imprison you, but you just have to not disappear without a word again." After saying that, Huo Weixi hugged her tighter, as if he was afraid that the person in front of him would suddenly disappear again.
