The ancient Divine Beast Susu descended to endure trials and became the youngest daughter of the Qin Family, who were nearing eighty years old; young in age but high in seniority, even the men in t...
As Tantai Ming’s capable assistant, Achou was well aware of the boss’s foul temper, and at times like these, a moment of carelessness could make one an unlucky bystander caught in the boss’s wrath.
"I have my own arrangements."
Without seeing for himself, Tantai Ming couldn’t fully confirm that Lu Zhanyu wasn’t the person he was searching for.
He still needed to find another way to confirm it.

For several days in a row, Susu had been practicing, even sleeping with the glass ball in her grasp.
Her delicate little hands would turn red after extensive practice, but they would recover in just a few minutes after resting.
Thank goodness for Bai Ze’s body, otherwise, she probably wouldn’t have withstood such torment.
But the training was indeed very effective.
Susu found that her little hands had become much more nimble than before.
What surprised her even more was that she had managed to summon Little Lightning without getting angry!
So, when Tantai Ming called her to the indoor activity room during free time in the second week, Susu was overjoyed and went there with her ball in her arms.
"Teacher Ming, I can now play with it for quite a while! Look!" Susu proactively showed Tantai Ming the results of her training.
"Good," Tantai Ming responded calmly, "then today we’ll practice a new move."
"New?" Susu’s eyes shone with confusion and anticipation.
"Yes, a new one," Tantai Ming handed Susu a piece of string.
"What’s this?" Susu turned the string over in her hand, inspecting it repeatedly.
"Just an ordinary piece of string."
"A piece of string? So, what do I do with it?"
"I’ll teach you."
Tantai Ming tied knots at both ends of the string and then wrapped it around Susu’s hands.
Then he took the string from Susu’s hands, flipping it over in the process and changing the pattern.
"This is called cat’s cradle; it was a popular game among children in the past," Tantai Ming explained.
Susu stared at Tantai Ming’s hands with curiosity as he transformed the structure of the string, finding it incredibly magical.
"Now, take the string from my hands and make a figure," Tantai Ming said.
"Okay." Susu, imitating Tantai Ming, took the string and pulled with both hands, but the cat’s cradle collapsed.
"Why did it fall apart?"
"Then you’ve failed," Tantai Ming explained to Susu. "This game is simple, but it requires some thinking, and it will also help train your little brain to some extent."
"How interesting! I can do it! I’m really smart!" Susu’s enthusiasm and competitive spirit were both sparked.
"Yes, you learn well, and you should practice well when you get home. Of course, you can’t play this game alone, you need to find your little brother and the two of you can play it together," Tantai Ming said.
The glass ball exercise last time was meant for one person, and he couldn’t be sure if Lu Zhanyu knew how to do it.
But cat’s cradle required two people to play – he didn’t believe Lu Zhanyu would miss it this time!

When Susu returned home in the evening and finished dinner, she took out her little red string.
The fine, red string didn’t seem to be anything special.
Seeing Susu handling the tiny string as if it were a treasure, Qin Yuze curiously moved closer.
"Susu, what’s that string for?"
"You have to call me auntie if you want to know." fre\e(w)ebn ov.e l\. co.m
Her little nephew alternated between calling her auntie and using her name, but she preferred hearing him call her auntie!
