“If you still can’t forget that scumbag who treated you so badly back then, then I really despise you,” Fu Zelian said.

"Think what you want, I'm going back to sleep." Ye Shi was too lazy to say anything more about Zhu Huai's matter. Just as she was about to go back, the man pulled her back.

He pulled her into the room next door and slammed the door shut.

"What are you doing?" Ye Shi asked in a panic, trying to struggle.

Fu Zelian pressed her against the door, his words harsh, "You've been getting very close to Zhu Huai lately. You say you don't care, but I don't know what you really think. You'd better behave yourself in my marriage, or don't blame me for being impolite."

"So you still don't believe me, and you think I would do something that would betray my family."

"Human nature is unpredictable."

"Whatever you want. Anyway, I'm upright and honest, and I won't do anything against my conscience."

Ye Shi's hand was gripped tightly by him, leaving a red mark.

Fu Zelian pinched her chin with one hand, a spark of fire appearing in his eyes. "It seems we've grown distant. Now you're just letting my words go in one ear and out the other. Should I remind you that you're Mrs. Fu now?"

He suddenly lowered his head and kissed her forcefully.

Ye Shi was stunned, and after realizing what was happening, she began to struggle.

The door was banged on loudly.

The woman's lips were soft and sweet, like jelly.

Once that first touch happened, things spiraled out of control.

Ye Shi was held tightly in his arms, unable to move an inch.

"Mom and Dad, are you inside?"

Their frantic actions stopped when they heard a soft knock at the door.

"Mom and Dad, say something."

Fu Zelian and Ye Shi quickly separated, straightened their clothes, and returned to normal.

The door opened, and Xiao Zhe stood outside, staring intently at them.

"Mom, what happened to your mouth? Did Dad hit you?" The little guy had sharp eyes and immediately noticed something was wrong.

Ye Shi's red lips were slightly swollen. She brushed a stray hair behind her ear and said, "No, I was just bitten by a mosquito. Let's go, Mom will take you back to sleep."

The little guy, however, wouldn't miss their subtle expressions. "Then what are you doing sneaking around here?"

Fu Zelian said with a dark face, "Why are you asking so many questions? Children shouldn't meddle in adult matters."

"Hmph, Daddy's naughty."

Ye Shi blushed and took her son back to bed.

To suppress his burning desire, Fu Zelian could only take a cold shower in the second bedroom.

Ye Shi lay down with her son, keeping a watchful eye on the sounds outside the door.

Fortunately, Fu Zelian did not return, but instead slept in the second bedroom.

She breathed a sigh of relief and closed her eyes to sleep.

In her dream, she saw herself being pinned down by Fu Zelian, followed by a series of blush-inducing actions.

Ye Shi woke up with a start and found that it was already daylight outside the window.

She looked down at her clothes again and found them to be neat and tidy. She wiped the sweat from her forehead.

"Thankfully, it was just a dream."

"What were you dreaming about that kept saying 'no, no'?" The door opened, and a tall man walked in.

"It's nothing." She got up and went inside to wash up.

Fu Zelian followed her in and said, "There's a dinner party tonight, you'll be attending with me."

"Can I not go?" He never takes her to any drinking parties, what's wrong with him today?

"I've already promised them that we would attend together as a couple, so you have to go."
