Zhan Beiyan was quite excited as she watched the door finally open.

"How is she? How is the Princess Consort? Is she alright? How is she feeling now? May I go in and see her?"

The midwives were seeing a prince dote on his queen for the first time, and they were all a little envious.

The midwife in front looked at Zhan Beiyan and spoke.

"Your Highness, the Princess Consort is alright now, so please don't worry! Your Highness, please wait a little longer. We'll tidy things up a bit, and once that's done, you can go in whenever you wish."

Zhan Beiyan waited outside for quite some time before the inner door finally opened again.

Without hesitation, Zhan Beiyan rushed inside immediately.

As soon as he entered, he saw Jiang Jingyue sleeping there with her eyes closed, looking extremely worried about him.

Zhan Beiyan rushed to Jiang Jingyue's side immediately, grabbed Jiang Jingyue's hand, and spoke anxiously.

"Yueyue, how are you now? Why aren't you awake yet? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"

Jiang Jingyue was fast asleep, so she didn't hear what Zhan Beiyan said at all.

When she woke up, a day and a night had passed. Zhan Beiyan had been waiting by Jiang Jingyue's bedside for a day and a night, but Jiang Jingyue did not wake up. He was getting anxious.

"Yueyue, it's been so long, why haven't you woken up yet? The imperial physician examined you and said there's nothing wrong with you, but why won't you wake up?"

Jiang Jingyue was helpless. She wanted to wake up, but she couldn't. She was too tired and needed to rest for a while longer.

She was originally planning to continue sleeping.

But in the end, there was no way to fall asleep, mainly because Zhan Beiyan kept chattering in her ear, making it impossible for her to sleep.

So, having no other choice, Jiang Jingyue opened her eyes.

When Zhan Beiyan saw Jiang Jingyue open her eyes, he was so excited that he immediately hugged her.

"Yueyue, you've finally woken up! How are you feeling? It's been so long, and you've finally woken up. I was so worried about you."

Looking at Zhan Beiyan's haggard appearance, Jiang Jingyue smiled and asked him a question.

"Your Highness, haven't you had a rest for a while? You look very haggard."

Zhan Beiyan looked extremely haggard mainly because she hadn't slept for a day and a night.

"Yueyue, you don't need to worry about me. As long as you're alright, that's all that matters. Is there anything you'd like to eat? I'll go and prepare it right now."

Jiang Jingyue had just woken up and indeed felt that she was extremely hungry.

But right now, the most important thing isn't food, but taking care of the children.

Jiang Jingyue is now eager to see what the child looks like.

"Your Highness, please don't rush to make anything. I just want to see the child. Where is the child? Please bring the child in so I can see him/her."

Hearing Jiang Jingyue say that, Zhan Beiyan hesitated for a moment before walking outside.

He hasn't seen the child yet and doesn't know what the child looks like.

As he walked, he kept turning back to look at Jiang Jingyue and said something to her.

"Yueyue, wait a moment. I will go and bring the child in so you can see him. The child is outside right now. I will go and have them bring the child in."

Jiang Jingyue nodded immediately, looking forward to it.

Soon, Zhan Beiyan followed the midwife and brought in all four children. As soon as they entered, the children suddenly started crying for some reason.

After all, it was her own child. Hearing the child cry, Jiang Jingyue immediately became extremely anxious.

"Your Highness, please bring the child over quickly so Yueyue can see what's wrong with him. Is he hungry? Why did he suddenly start crying?"

Zhan Beiyan himself had no experience, and he didn't know why the child suddenly started crying.

So he could only look to the midwife next to him, hoping she could tell him something.

The midwife immediately understood Zhan Beiyan's meaning and smiled as she spoke to her.

"Your Highness, the baby is probably hungry. We were just about to feed him, but the Princess wanted to see him, so we brought him over for her to look at first."

Hearing that the child was hungry, Jiang Jingyue couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. She reached out her hand and spoke to Zhan Beiyan in front of her.

"Your Highness, please bring the children over here so that Yueyue can breastfeed them!"

Zhan Beiyan had already prepared a wet nurse, so she didn't like Jiang Jingyue breastfeeding her at all.

"Yueyue, you don't need to breastfeed. There are wet nurses here, so let them feed you."

Jiang Jingyue wanted to breastfeed herself, since breast milk is more nutritious.

Upon hearing Zhan Beiting's words, Jiang Jingyue immediately shook her head at him.

"No, Your Highness, Yueyue wants to feed the baby herself. After all, the baby is still so young, and it would be safer if she fed the baby herself."

Although what Jiang Jingyue said does make a lot of sense.

However, Zhan Beiyan couldn't agree, since it wasn't just a child; if it were just a child, he would have agreed.

But with so many children, there was no way he could agree even if he wanted to!

"Yueyue, with so many babies, even if you wanted to breastfeed, you wouldn't have enough breast milk to feed them all! It's better to let the wet nurse feed them."
