Beauty always comes unexpectedly.

Chapter Twenty-Two

Spring's light and shadow have quietly faded, and the summer breeze, carrying a warm breath, drifts through the windowpane. Time slips away like sand through one's fingers, and Yuzuru is already standing at the crossroads of graduation.

In recent years, her personal studio, which she founded, has grown from its initial stage to a thriving business.

The melodies flowing from her pen have transformed into popular songs that linger in the ears of listeners; the voice actors she signed by chance are now highly sought-after voices in the industry; the novel copyrights she collected unintentionally have unexpectedly made her a well-known copyright tycoon in the industry, earning her considerable profits; and the carefully crafted radio dramas have won unanimous praise from the industry for their excellent production.

Meanwhile, Yukimura shone brightly on the international tennis stage. Two years after winning Wimbledon, he lifted the French Open trophy again.

On the awards stage, under the spotlight, he wore a red battle robe, held the trophy in his hands, and his gaze pierced through the crowd, landing precisely on Yuzuru Hanyu in the audience.

"One day, I will win the Grand Slam and bring all the trophies to you, so that you can be honored because of me." His voice was firm and resolute, and his eyes were filled with unwavering determination and tenderness.

With graduation approaching, Yukimura, who was overseas, made a special trip back, not wanting to miss this important moment in her life.

Inside the school auditorium, the principal's graduation speech was gentle yet powerful. After the speech, he stood smiling at the front of the stage and presided over the tassel-turning ceremony for each graduate.

Yuzuru Hanyu slowly walked forward with the group, and under the principal's loving gaze, he received his gold-embossed graduation certificate. When they posed for a photo together, a smile he couldn't hide appeared on his lips.

After the ceremony, Yuzuru Hanyu, dressed in his academic gown and cap, strolled hand-in-hand with Yukimura through the campus. Sunlight filtered through the lush foliage, casting dappled patterns of light onto their clasped hands.

"You can come often in the future, I haven't graduated yet." Yukimura looked down at her, his tone reassuring.

Yuzuru looked up at the sky, letting the summer breeze ruffle his hair: "Things are different now. When I come back, I won't be a kid in school anymore, but a real adult."

She whispered to herself, "Goodbye, my school life. Goodbye, our younger selves."

At the same time, in both the Chinese and Japanese offices of Yuzuru Hanyu Studio, joyful voices rang out: "The boss is treating us to dinner tonight, so we're leaving early to celebrate!" As soon as the words were spoken, cheers erupted throughout the room.

Inside the private room, Yuzuru raised his glass, his eyes full of smiles: "Thank you all for working together these past few years. Our 'Power Over the World' won Best Radio Drama of the Year, and 'Moonlight' also won the Golden Melody Award. These honors are all thanks to everyone. In the future, I hope we can continue to work together and create even greater glories! The prize money will be distributed to everyone at the end of the month."

Amid cheers, the banquet officially began. Perhaps overwhelmed by the joy of graduation, Yuzuru, unusually, picked up a glass of sake, only to find himself with a low alcohol tolerance. After just one cup, he was already feeling quite tipsy.

In her last moments before losing consciousness, she fumbled for a number and dialed Yukimura's number, asking him to come pick her up.

When Yukimura arrived, Yuzuru was leaning against the sofa, his cheeks flushed and his eyes glazed over.

He helped her up, who was almost unsteady on her feet, and turned to look at his assistant, Yoshiko Noto, who was seeing her out. He asked helplessly, "How much did she drink?"

Nofuji Yoshiko suppressed a laugh, raised a finger, and gave a mysterious smile. "A bottle?" Yukimura frowned, but received a negative answer: "It's one cup, the boss only drank one cup."

On the way home, Yuzuru was dozing off in the passenger seat. He opened his eyes in a daze and his gaze fell on the man in the driver's seat. He suddenly chuckled and said, "You're so handsome."

Yukimura tightened his grip on the steering wheel, feeling a bit annoyed that she had been drinking too much, but he didn't respond.

"Why aren't you smiling?" Yuzuru tilted his head, his tone full of doubt.

Seeing that he still ignored her, she moved closer and said softly, "Handsome, why are you ignoring me?"

Yukimura remained silent, letting her mutter to herself. Then suddenly her eyes lit up, and she chuckled, "Handsome, you're totally my type! Want to marry me?"

After finally getting home, Yukimura carried the unconscious Yuzuru into the bedroom.

Sensing the movement, Yuzuru slowly opened his eyes, looked at the handsome face before him, and asked with a silly grin, "Who are you?"

“Your husband.” Yukimura sighed, his tone full of helplessness and doting affection.

"Really?" Yuzuru's eyes widened, his voice full of amazement. "I can't believe I have such a handsome husband! Did I just shower him with money?"

Yukimura leaned down, his fingertips tracing her flushed cheeks, and whispered in a seductive tone, "Yes, you gave me your entire fortune."

Yuzuru was captivated by the smile in his eyes. He parted his lips slightly, raised his hand and gently stroked his eyebrows and eyes, his gaze slowly moving down to his bobbing Adam's apple.

As if possessed, she tilted her head back and gently kissed him, then parted her lips and lightly bit him.

"From now on, I won't let you drink out of my sight." Yukimura's voice was low and hoarse, filled with suppressed emotions. Before he finished speaking, he leaned down and took control. That night, he fulfilled all the positions and requests she had previously refused to try. They indulged in pleasure in the dark, taking everything they could until the moon rose above the willow trees, when they gradually came to a stop.

The next morning, Yuzuru struggled to open his eyes amidst aches and pains, his head throbbing and his throat dry and sore.

The bedroom door opened, and Yukimura walked in carrying a glass of honey water, his eyes conveying a meaningful look: "Have some honey water, baby~"

"Baby?" Yuzuru took the water glass, his voice hoarse and full of doubt.

“Yes,” Yukimura said, suppressing a laugh and pretending to be serious, “yesterday you called me ‘baby’ and even said you wanted to take care of me.”

"Huh?" Yuzuru was so shocked he almost spat out his water.

“That’s not all,” Yukimura continued, “You also promised me that you’d let me do it from behind from now on~”

"How is that possible?" Yuzuru asked, his face filled with disbelief.

"Here's the evidence. You even put your fingerprint on it." Yukimura handed over a piece of paper. After reading it, Yuzuru's face turned bright red. He quickly snatched the paper to "destroy the evidence," with only one thought in his mind: Alcohol is really no good.

When she called Mina to complain, Mina's laughter came from the other end of the phone: "I didn't expect you to have such a low alcohol tolerance. You get drunk after just one drink. You and Guoguang are the two people I've ever met with the lowest alcohol tolerance. He gets drunk after three drinks, hahaha."

Yuzuru's lips twitched: "I never thought I had anything to compare with Tezuka-kun."

As the conversation got more interesting, she suggested, "Now that we've graduated, how about we take a graduation trip?"

“Sure, I have plenty of free time,” Mina readily replied.

"Are you bringing your family?" Yuzuru asked.

"No, no," Mina quickly refused, her tone excited. "It's a rare opportunity, we're not bringing them, they'll affect our performance! There are so many handsome guys on the beach, we want to experience our youth to the fullest!"

"Aren't you young enough yet? You won over Tezuka-kun when you were at the peak of your youth," Yuzuru joked.

“Just enjoy it, you can’t look at the same face every day. You need to see the outside world occasionally.” Mina had barely finished speaking when Tezuka’s cool voice came from the other end of the phone: “Hikaru, what are you doing with my phone?”

Immediately following was Mina's panicked pleas for forgiveness: "I was wrong, I was wrong, I was just saying it..." The phone was abruptly hung up, and Yuzuru, hearing the busy tone, clicked his tongue twice: Mina is in danger.

A little over ten days later, Yuzuru had just finished an urgent project and hadn't had time to finalize the travel details with Mina when he received a call from her, her voice filled with deep frustration: "Yuzuru, I'm pregnant."

"!" Yuzuru was shocked. Tezuka's efficiency was indeed well-deserved; he never let his guard down in anything he did.

"How long has it been?" she asked quickly.

"Waaah, I don't know yet! There aren't enough days to check, my graduation trip is ruined! Waaah!" Mina broke down in tears on the other end of the phone.

"Don't cry, don't cry," Yuzuru quickly comforted her. "This is a good thing. You can go on the graduation trip again. Next time, you can tell me where you want to go, and I'll go with you right away without delay. The baby is here; it's a gift from God. Be happy."

After hanging up the phone, Yuzuru tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep. Mina was pregnant; when would her and Yukimura's baby arrive?

The next morning, while having breakfast, Yuzuru called Yukimura and said, "Mina is pregnant. Oichi, when are we going to have a baby?"

Yukimura was silent for a moment on the other end of the phone, then said earnestly and gently, "I don't want to be away from you when you're pregnant, Yu."
