Su Wan gave a self-deprecating laugh: "It's alright, sis. You take good care of Bai Yuan."

Chen Qianlan nodded in agreement, and Su Wan quietly asked, "Sister, what do you think of Bai Yuan?"

Upon hearing this, Chen Qianlan hesitated and glanced at the door. What was she thinking? Jiang Baiyuan and she had already reached this point. She bit her lip, as if she had made up her mind: "I will agree to him once he recovers."

Seeing Chen Qianlan's somewhat awkward demeanor, Su Wan realized that she wasn't indifferent to Jiang Baiyuan; indeed, even a strong woman can be swayed by persistent advances.

Even an ice queen like Chen Qianlan was won over by Jiang Baiyuan.

Su Wan made an excuse and quickly left.

Stepping out of the room, he saw Lin Changchun and Cui Zhengming squatting under the window. Lin Changchun kept looking out and nudging Qin Yi, who was squatting beside him, to come up and take a look.

Cui Zhengming quietly beckoned and mouthed to Su Wan, "Wan, come here."

Su Wan and Qin Yi exchanged a glance, both speechless at the old man and the young man; the two of them were truly masters of gossip.

As Lin Changchun watched, he muttered, "Old Jiang, that shameless guy, they've kissed."

Lin Changchun excitedly patted Qin Yi, and Su Wan leaned over to look, but Qin Yi quickly covered her eyes.

Cui Zhengming and Lin Changchun were completely engrossed in watching. Cui Zhengming patted Lin Changchun on the shoulder and said, "Kid, learn from this."

Lin Changchun muttered under his breath, "Do you think I don't want to?"

He really wanted to, but the girl he liked didn't like him back.

Qin Yi whispered in Su Wan's ear, "Don't look."

Yiwa's clear voice rang out beside her: "Uncle, what are you doing?"

The group of people froze. Being caught peeping by a child was somewhat embarrassing. Cui Zhengming scratched his head awkwardly, then turned around and slapped Lin Changchun: "You brat, I told you you shouldn't make such a mistake, but you insisted on making me watch. Young people like to peek into corners."

He sighed, shook his head, and walked away.

Lin Changchun looked at Qin Yi with a bewildered expression, then at Su Wan, who was trying to defend herself: "I, no, I..."

Qin Yi pulled Su Wan to her feet, and as they passed Lin Changchun, Qin Yi sighed regretfully, "It would be so much better if you did something worthwhile at such a young age."

Everyone had left, leaving Lin Changchun and Yiwa staring at each other blankly. Yiwa looked puzzled, while Lin Changchun stood alone, bewildered in the wind.

What did he do?

If I remember correctly, it was Cui Zhengming who dragged him here.

He was just there to watch the fun, so how did that become his fault?

Turning to look out the window, Jiang Baiyuan had already pulled Chen Qianlan back to her room. As he closed the door, Jiang Baiyuan looked back at him and made a friendly gesture.

Lin Changchun, who was persecuted, wanted to go home. This society was too treacherous, and as naive as he was, he was no match for these cunning people.

It was Li Xiaohong who came over and eased his embarrassment, saying, "Comrade Lin, it's time to eat."

At the dinner table, Lin Changchun was fuming and ignoring everyone. Cui Zhengming pretended not to look at Jiang Baiyuan and Chen Qianlan, while Chen Qianlan remained shy and refused to look up.

Jiang Baiyuan acted as if nothing was wrong, using one arm to hold food and occasionally acting coquettishly towards Chen Qianlan.

Chen Qianlan angrily rubbed his foot hard with her shoe, but Jiang Baiyuan continued eating without changing his expression. Chen Qianlan's force was like a tickle to him.
