Su Wan is the true daughter of the Su family. After drifting outside for eighteen years, she was finally brought back to the Su family. She originally thought she would be doted on, but unexpectedl...

Chapter 33: No consummation of the marriage? That's acceptable.

Cui Zhengming left a letter and departed.

When Qin Yi and Su Wan came out, Grandma Qin was holding the letter and a neat stack of money in her hand, which she had secretly put in Cui Zhengming's bag.

He only took some travel expenses and left the rest behind.

Grandma Qin paced anxiously, unable to read or understand what was written in the letter.

For her, Cui Zhengming saved Qin Yi and changed the course of Qin Yi's life.

He also changed the rest of their family's lives and was their benefactor.

Her gratitude towards Cui Zhengming came from the bottom of her heart, and she wanted to do everything she could to repay him. Now that he had suddenly left, she felt terrible.

After reading the letter, Qin Yi comforted Grandma Qin: "Grandma, don't be sad. He really has something to do. He said he'll come to see you after he's done."

Seeing that Grandma Qin didn't believe him, he pointed to the letter and said, "Look, his contact address is on this. I'll go see him once I've recovered."

Qin Yi and Su Wan comforted Grandma Qin for a long time before her expression softened. "Take me with you to see him later, we need to thank him properly."

"good."

In the afternoon, the two lay on the bed for a nap. Qin Yi hugged Su Wan and patted her gently, occasionally taking advantage of her. Su Wan turned to look at Qin Yi.

"I'd like to find something to do. Would you come with me to the city tomorrow?"

Qin Yi pursed his lips and pulled the person completely into his arms. "What do you want to do?"

Su Wan frowned and thought for a moment.

"I want to go and see first; people need to eat and wear clothes."

Qin Yi nodded: "I can support you, so you don't have to work so hard."

Su Wan snuggled closer to him, acting like a cat, and said coquettishly, "I want to try what I can do myself."

Qin Yi: "Okay, I happen to have some things to buy too."

The next morning, Lin Changchun arrived in his car, and surprisingly, Jiang Baiyuan was also there.

As they watched Qin Yi stride away as before, both of them were filled with emotion; the Qin Yi of the past had returned.

Although it's clear that he can't walk very fast yet, his current level of recovery has already surprised them.

Lin Changchun wiped his eyes emotionally: "Old Qin, you've stood up! That's wonderful..."

He stretched out his arms to hug Qin Yi to celebrate, but Qin Yi dodged and he missed.

Lin Changchun touched his nose.

"Let's go."

Jiang Baiyuan patted Lin Changchun on the shoulder. As they watched Qin Yi taking care of Su Wan in the car, the same question came to their minds at the same time.

Qin Yi is back. Will their hard times be far behind?

Thinking back on all that training, it's all tears.

Two hours later, the car arrived at the wholesale market, which was packed with people and filled with the sounds of bargaining and various shouts.

Su Wan strolled around leisurely, consulted with the boss, and then took careful notes. Qin Yi sent the two "third wheels" away to run errands, and followed behind Su Wan at a leisurely pace.

Around noon, the group found a restaurant to eat at and unexpectedly ran into Su Shikun.

Su Shikun looked at Su Wan and Qin Yi with surprise.

"Wanwan, brother-in-law."

"Brother," Su Wan called out indifferently.

Qin Yi, who was usually quiet, took the initiative to greet him: "Big brother, what a coincidence."

The surprise in Su Shikun's eyes was almost overflowing. "Brother-in-law, what's wrong? Are you all better?"

"Okay, all done."

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Su Shikun left in a hurry.

After dinner, Su Wan and the others went to the market and stayed there until the afternoon before returning home. Unexpectedly, guests arrived at their house.

Still a rare visitor.

Lin Changchun chuckled and stepped forward to greet them, but Jiang Baiyuan pulled him away. "We have something to do, you two chat first."

Lin Changchun, who had just left the Qin family residence, looked at Jiang Baiyuan and asked, "What do you want with me?"

Jiang Baiyuan said, "It's a big deal," and then walked away.

Su Chengde and his wife sat in the living room with Su Qing, chatting with Grandma Qin. Grandma Qin held Su Qing's hand and kept praising her.

Su Qing blushed shyly. When she saw Su Wan and Qin Yi come in, Su Qing's eyes were fixed on Qin Yi holding Su Wan's hand.

Then her gaze was glued to Qin Yi, unable to move an inch, and Su Wan couldn't help but smirk.

"Xiao Yi, Wanwan, hurry up, your in-laws have been waiting for you for a long time."

Han Hongmei warmly pulled Su Wan along, sizing her up while being polite to Grandma Qin.

"Yes, she's gained a little weight, Auntie. My Wanwan is so immature, thank you for your understanding..."

After exchanging pleasantries for a while, Han Hongmei pulled Su Wan aside to whisper something. Su Qing was also with them, while Qin Yi stayed in the living room with Su Chengde.

As soon as they entered the room, Han Hongmei pulled Su Wan aside and started asking her how she was doing. Su Wan looked at Han Hongmei and felt embarrassed for her.

She pulled her hand away from Han Hongmei's, glanced at Su Qing's expectant face, and said sarcastically to Han Hongmei, "Just say what you want to say."

Han Hongmei choked, then laughed awkwardly: "Wanwan, what do you think about going to school?"

Su Wan raised an eyebrow: "Didn't you say you would handle things at the school?"

Han Hongmei smiled without any shame at being slapped in the face, and pulled Su Wan along with a beaming smile.

"Wanwan, have you consummated your marriage with Xiao Qin?"

Upon hearing this, Su Wan understood immediately, and was so angry she wanted to laugh. She really wanted to ask Han Hongmei what was in her head, that her brain was practically overflowing and splattering on her.

She looked at Han Hongmei with a forced smile: "Why are you asking this?"

Seeing Su Wan's expression, Han Hongmei concluded that they had not yet consummated their marriage.

She moved closer to Su Wan and said, "Wanwan, you know your sister has always liked Xiao Qin. Don't you want to go to school? Mom promises you, you can continue your studies and go to university."
