Su Wan glanced at the doorway; she was genuinely afraid that Grandma Qin would find out about her "excessive" concern.

It's best to keep such private matters from being known by a third party if possible.

Although Grandma Qin isn't one to gossip, she's concerned about her reputation.

Su Wan glanced at him. "Give me the medicine. I'll take it myself."

Qin Yi showed no awareness of the need to provide information, and said in a hoarse voice, "The injury is there, you can't see it."

Su Wan whispered sternly at him, "Even if I can't see it, I can still know."

Su Wan didn't dare to think about what might happen if she asked him to help apply the medicine, after all, she had already experienced it last night.

His physical strength made her experience it firsthand!

Otherwise, she wouldn't need to apply medicine!

Qin Yi became increasingly docile when facing Su Wan. When he saw her angry, he didn't say anything but reached out to help her up.

There was an indescribable resentment in his tone.

After hearing this, Su Wan burst out laughing.

Qin Yi: "You heartless little brat..."

His words carried a blatant threat, and Su Wan stopped laughing. She broke free from Qin Yi's embrace and went out to take a shower.

When Su Wan returned from her shower, she was wearing a nightgown, her body still wet, and the scent of moisture and the fragrance of her post-shower body filled Qin Yi's nostrils.

Qin Yi looked at Su Wan's exquisite curves and felt his mouth go dry.

Su Wan reached out her hand, looking at him with teary eyes, without saying a word.

Qin Yi took the medicine out of his pocket and handed it to her. "Are you sure you don't need my help?"

Su Wan snorted and took the medicine from his hand: "No need."

Qin Yi's Adam's apple bobbed, and Su Wan turned her head to look at him, waiting for him to leave.

As they gazed at each other, that sticky, ambiguous feeling, that hard to define, began to grow between them once again.

It expanded rapidly, penetrating deep into the bones and spreading wildly along the skeleton.

Qin Yi reached out his hand, but Su Wan dodged to the side. He chuckled and said, "I'll help you."

Su Wan hummed in a slightly coquettish tone.

Indeed, it's a good cow.

Qin Yi's hand was gently circling around Su Wan's "injury" without her noticing.

Su Wan was in a daze; wasn't the medicine in her hands?

When did he take it?

She didn't even know when he took the medicine away.

She even applied the medicine to herself with such 'skill'.

The two seemed to share an unbreakable bond of affection, which only accentuated the sweetness of their newlywed bliss.

The medicine was applied by then, and the needle-like pain "there" had subsided considerably.

Su Wan felt weak in the knees, but Qin Yi acted as if nothing was wrong and picked her up in one go. She gritted her teeth and looked at Qin Yi, thinking, "This is unfair!"

Qin Yi looked at the person in his arms with her luscious red lips and reluctantly placed her on the bed.

He lightly pecked Su Wan's red lips and whispered, "You can rest here. I'll call you when the food is ready."

Su Wan: "Mm."

Qin Yi pushed open the door and went out.

Soon after, the sound of rushing water came from the toilet.

Su Wan smiled.

This man really does... have the looks.

She suddenly understood why couples could be inseparable again the day after a fight.

A married couple.

There's nothing that a good night's sleep can't fix.

If that doesn't work, then take two naps.

After all, life is just a few things.

They might quarrel in bed, but they'll make up before they get out of bed. There's no such thing as an irreconcilable conflict. It's always better to keep things peaceful, as this can actually strengthen the relationship between the two people.

Just like them, after yesterday, the two seemed to have gotten a step closer.

Think about it, with such a small price to pay, you can reconcile so well and both parties can have a good experience.

It seems like neither of us suffered a loss.

While Su Wan was lost in thought, Qin Yi had already prepared the meal.

She came out for a quick bite to eat, and Grandma Qin kept smiling, constantly putting food on her plate and adding soup to her bowl.

"Wanwan, have some more. Xiao Yi specially cooked some white fungus soup for you."

Su Wan obediently took it and drank it in small sips. The family of three was harmonious and warm.

Qin Yi seems to have gotten busy. He comes home on time every day to cook for her, but he's nowhere to be seen at other times.

Every night he obediently holds her while sleeping, and apart from kissing her, his hands and feet are exceptionally well-behaved.

Su Wan chuckled inwardly. He dared not be dishonest; otherwise, he would be the one who suffered.

For several days in a row, Su Wan didn't go out; she either spaced out or read books.

She leaned casually against the windowsill, looking at the scenery outside. The flowers were in full bloom, and little birds chirped as they landed on the windowsill.

Su Wan reached out her hand, and the little bird obediently perched on her hand.

Just then, there was a knock on the door, and a familiar yet utterly repulsive voice came from outside, "Su Wan, Su Wan..."

It was Xu Ruyin who was jealous of Su Wan and Lu Xing at school and was the culprit who led the bullying of Su Wan.

Su Wan got up.

Xu Ruyin was standing at the door, peeking inside. Su Wan opened the door, and Xu Ruyin tripped and fell right into the room.

A flash of anger crossed her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure.

Looking at Su Wan with surprise and disbelief: "Su Wan, hello, long time no see..."
