Su Wan looked at the heavy rain, lost in thought. Liu Shuang's house was nearby, so she could go back once the rain subsided.

But Su Wan's home is far away, so it won't be quick for her to get back.

Liu Shuang grinned and took Su Wan's hand: "Sister Su Wan, why don't you come to my house for the night and we can sleep together?"

Liu Shuang meant well, but encountering such heavy rain was unexpected.

Although they had an employer-employee relationship, they got along well.

As things stand, the only option seems to be to make do with staying at Liu Shuang's house for now.

Su Wan was a little embarrassed: "Won't this be too much trouble for you?"

Liu Shuang chuckled and said, "How could that be? My parents were praising you yesterday and telling me to learn from you."

Seeing that the rain had lessened a bit, the two of them opened their umbrellas and left the market.

Su Wan smiled. Liu Shuang was asking about Lin Changchun.

"He should be back today..."

This girl has really fallen for that kid Lin Changchun.

The two were strolling in the rain, chatting happily, when a green jeep slowly drove up and rolled down its window.

Qin Yi's voice came through the sound of rain, low and deep, yet just enough to be heard clearly.

Su Wan looked at Qin Yi in surprise. Why was he here?

Liu Shuang whispered in Su Wan's ear, "Sister Su Wan, your brother-in-law treats you so well."

Now that Qin Yi has come to pick her up, Su Wan no longer needs to go to Liu Shuang's house.

She glanced at the heavy rain, then pulled Liu Shuang into the car with her.

"I'll have your brother-in-law give you a ride on his way."

Lin Changchun was driving.

When Lin Changchun saw them coming up, he warmly asked Liu Shuang, "Where do you live?"

Liu Shuang gave an address, and Lin Changchun turned on the turn signal and drove towards the destination.

While maintaining a dignified and ladylike demeanor, Liu Shuang secretly glanced in Lin Changchun's direction.

From the moment Su Wan got into the car, Qin Yi thoughtfully dried the water off her body and then held Su Wan's small hands in his palm.

The two exchanged a glance, and everything was understood without a word.

Instantly becoming ladylike and dignified, Su Wan glanced at the now calm Liu Shuang and understood.

Su Wan gave Qin Yi a wink, and Qin Yi glanced at the two people in the front seat.

Weiwei nodded slightly to Su Wan.

Lin Changchun was very eager to confide in someone, asking, "Sister-in-law, didn't we arrive just in time?"

Su Wan glanced at Qin Yi: "Yes, just in time."

"Old Qin came to pick you up as soon as he finished his work report. You have no idea how eager he's been to get back these past few days..."

Once Lin Changchun started talking, it was like a floodgate opening, impossible to stop.

Qin Yi asked calmly, "Have you finished writing your report?"
