Su Wan is the true daughter of the Su family. After drifting outside for eighteen years, she was finally brought back to the Su family. She originally thought she would be doted on, but unexpectedl...
As Wu Zikai stood up, Wang Bencai behind him rolled up his sleeves, ready to fight.
"Damn it, you blind little bastard, how dare you mess with my big brother!"
Wang Bencai rushed forward, ready to teach Qin Yi and the other two a lesson. Before he could even touch Qin Yi, a hand gripped his arm tightly, imprisoning him like an iron clamp. He tried to struggle and pull his hand out of the clamp, but he couldn't budge it an inch.
The next second, Wang Bencai screamed as he was kicked away.
Lin Changchun clapped his hands, glancing at Qin Yi with a look of smug satisfaction, his eyes practically screaming, "How about me? Aren't I amazing?"
Unfortunately, neither Qin Yi nor Jiang Baiyuan gave him any extra attention.
Lin Changchun muttered to himself, "Why isn't anyone praising me?"
All of this happened in the blink of an eye. When Wang Bencai’s henchmen saw that their boss had been beaten, some of them went to help him up, while others shouted that they wanted to teach Lin Changchun a lesson.
The loudest shouter, the blond-haired guy, was Wang Zhiheng, the ringleader who smashed Su Wan's stall. He was also a cousin of Wang Bencai.
Wu Zikai slapped him on the head, saying, "Your brother is blind, and you're blind too!"
Wang Zhiheng was a little stunned by the slap. He covered his face and dared not speak. He looked at Qin Yi and the other two who were as steady as Mount Tai, and then at Wang Bencai who was equally dumbfounded.
And Wu Zikai, who was furious and constantly wiping away sweat.
Wang Zhiheng stood at the back with his head down and a look of embarrassment on his face. The others didn't dare to speak either, as they were all unsure of who these people were.
Wu Zikai turned around sharply and glared at Wang Bencai, who was more trouble than he was worth. "Get out, all of you, get out!"
Wang Bencai was feeling frustrated. He had come a long way, and no one dared to openly attack him anymore. He never expected that this seemingly naive young man would be so steady, accurate, and ruthless in his attacks.
Not only did he get beaten up for nothing, but now he's being verbally abused as well.
Supported by his underlings, Wang Bencai glared angrily at Qin Yi and his group before turning around and getting up.
"etc."
Qin Yi spoke in a calm voice.
Wu Zikai asked with a fawning smile, "What's wrong?"
Jiang Baiyuan casually rolled up his sleeves and glanced at the people standing at the door: "I heard someone went to the market to smash up a stall yesterday?"
Wu Zixin secretly groaned; it was indeed this matter.
These blind bastards, we've told them so many times to use a conciliatory approach and not to take action rashly, but they still don't learn their lesson.
Wang Bencai's heart skipped a beat, and he instinctively turned around.
Qin Yi leaned back slightly. "Those who participated in smashing the stall yesterday, stay. The rest of you, get out."
Wu Zikai glared and secretly gave a wink to one of his trusted confidants.
A group of people tiptoed out and closed the door.
Only a few people remained in the room, and no one spoke; the silence was eerily profound.
Despite his young age, Qin Yi possessed an inherent air of authority befitting a person in a superior position.
His ability to reach such a position at such a young age is truly remarkable and beyond the reach of most people.
Wang Bencai, Wang Zhiheng, and their two underlings stood silently behind Wu Zikai, like quails, not daring to utter a word.
Qin Yi took out a cigarette, and Wu Zikai stepped forward to light it for him in a fawning manner. Qin Yi's expression remained unchanged. He took a deep drag, exhaled a smoke ring, and coincidentally, it landed on Wu Zikai's face.
Wu Zikai choked and gasped for breath, but dared not utter a word of anger.
Qin Yi tapped the table lightly with his fingers. Wu Zikai felt that he wasn't tapping the table, but rather being hammered on the heart, his heart was being beaten until it was bloody, sticky, and painfully throbbing.
But they dared not voice any objections.
After finishing a whole cigarette, Qin Yi looked at Wang Bencai and the other two behind him and spoke slowly.
"I'll give you two choices."
"First, find yourself a proper job. Second, go eat free meals."
Wang Bencai thought to himself, "Is this supposed to be a choice?"
This is forcing them to reform and turn over a new leaf.
Who are these three kids?
Such a boastful tone.
Wang Zhiheng, who was behind him, spoke before he could think: "Who are you guys? Don't think you can order us around just because you have some skills."
He was just young and impetuous.
Wu Zikai wished he could beat his mouth until it was swollen.
Qin Yi smiled, slowly stood up, and walked slowly to Wang Zhiheng as if taking a stroll. He was half a head taller than Wang Zhiheng. The latter looked up and tried to appear more confident, but ultimately looked at Qin Yi with some fear.
Qin Yi swiftly launched a kick, landing heavily on Wang Zhiheng's chest. The next second, he delivered a powerful punch, each blow landing squarely on the flesh.
Wang Zhiheng was almost powerless to fight back.
The other two henchmen, seeing Wang Zhiheng being beaten, ignored everything and rushed over to join the melee.
Wu Zikai shouted, "All of you, come back here!"
Jiang Baiyuan stood silently in place, without moving an inch.
Lin Changchun watched as Qin Yi fought three opponents single-handedly. With the support of those behind him, these three were no match for him at all.
That was his appetizer.
It doesn't even qualify as a proper meal.
They understood that Qin Yi wanted to vent his anger.
His precious little wife had her stall inexplicably smashed by these thugs.
He would be letting them down if he didn't beat them up, even though they had eaten rice.
Wang Bencai has learned his lesson.
He knew Qin Yi was not someone to be trifled with, but he also wanted to test his strength, so he didn't speak up to stop his two underlings when they made their move.
Half an hour later, the three men collapsed to the ground, groaning in pain, their faces bruised and swollen.
Qin Yi exhaled a breath of stale air and sat back down.
Wang Bencai finally understood that this young man was not only powerful but also held a position that they could not afford to offend.
He shamelessly offered her a cigarette with a fawning smile: "Please have a cigarette."
Qin Yi glanced at Jiang Baiyuan indifferently, and Jiang Baiyuan coughed.
