Aunt Zhang snorted coldly at Ji Wenxuan and turned her resentful gaze back to Gu Shuyan.

"Kill me or torture me, it's all up to you."

"Why would I kill you? You told me such a touching story, it would be such a waste to kill you. Besides, you haven't told me who these 'them' are yet! And what about your master? What is his identity?"

"It seems I really underestimated you; I didn't expect you to know so much."

Aunt Zhang chuckled sinisterly upon hearing this. She had been rambling on for so long, hoping to lower Gu Shuyan's guard, but now that the opportunity was gone, her true nature was revealed instantly.

"Tell me, what exactly are you plotting by sending your own daughter to Li Yingxue as a maid?"
