"You know that much." Shen Fei puffed out her chest with a sense of pride, her weak tone mixed with an undeniable air of arrogance and ease.

Ji Xiaoxiao stroked her chin, her eyes rolling around. "Hitting is a sign of affection, scolding is a sign of love, not hitting or scolding is a disaster. I love you so much, I must hit you hard."

"What?!" Shen Fei screamed in disbelief.

Ji Xiaoxiao wasn't just joking; she rolled up her sleeves and started punching and kicking Shen Fei.

Shen Fei, who was used to a life of luxury, was still in unbearable pain even though Ji Xiaoxiao showed him mercy.

"Stop hitting me, stop hitting me!" Shen Fei pleaded.

Ji Xiaoxiao was having a great time, so there was no reason for her to give up halfway.

Liao Yu slowly approached, his imposing aura overwhelming him. Shen Fei swallowed nervously, only feeling slightly relieved when he saw his eldest brother, Shen Lin, standing tall and unmoving.

"You killed Shuang'er." Liao Yu wasn't asking, but stating a fact.

Shen Fei stared at Liao Yu in astonishment, her eyes wide with disbelief.

“We’ve been standing outside the door the whole time, and we heard everything you said earlier.”

Shen Fei turned her head nervously, staring at Shen Lin in disbelief.
