In her past life, Ji Xiaoxiao was a part-time assassin and a full-time shut-in. One day, with god-like skill, she was run over by a car and inexplicably transmigrated. After transmigrating, everyth...
Steve raised his Frost Sword, ready to shatter Little Princess with a single blow.
Suddenly, everyone heard a buzzing sound, including Steve. Their vision blurred, and their bodies stiffened like stone, unable to move.
"What happened?"
"Why can't I move?"
"Who is it? Who dares to cause trouble in front of St. Stephen's Gate?"
The noise was deafening, and even Steve almost swore.
He was so close, so very close, to avenge Miss Annabella.
Important figures always arrive a step behind others.
Dean Dericius of Saint St. arrived silently, and with a glance, the noisy scene fell silent. He was a powerhouse above the Sword Emperor, a five-star Sword Saint, and hailed as the man most likely to become the Sword God.
"Dean," Steve exclaimed in surprise.
This was the second time he had seen Lord Derichius, the dean of Saint St. Academy. The first time was when he received the [Seven Saints] proclamation, and Lord Derichius personally pinned it to his chest. The second time was today.
Dean? Dean of Saint St.? That supremely powerful dean who is rarely seen?
The students of Saint St. Stephen stared wide-eyed, trying to memorize Delichos's appearance. This was one of the Three Saints of Atlantis, and seeing him even once was a rare and precious experience.
"Dean, Aria is a traitor to our Saint St., and traitors cannot be spared!" Steve shouted.
In the struggle for interests, he did not hesitate to seriously injure fellow students. If this person is not eliminated, it will be difficult to quell the anger and hatred of the teachers and students of St. Stephen's College.
Derrick has been famous for centuries, but he is surprisingly young, with cold features, black hair and blue eyes, and wearing loose combat clothing. Some people would believe that he and Steve are brothers.
“Steve, the matter hasn’t been investigated thoroughly. Who gave you the right to judge Arya as a traitor?” Delichos’s eyes swept over Steve, who trembled uncontrollably, his body screaming, “Don’t move, don’t make a sound, obey me. Otherwise, you’ll suffer the consequences.”
Having fought countless battles, Steve trusted his intuition. He scoffed at Delichos's words in his heart, but his expression remained unchanged, like a good student listening to a teacher's earnest advice.
Deliqiu turned slightly and said to the humanoid ice sculpture, "Ailiya, how long are you planning to keep watching the show?"
"Ahhh... As expected of the Dean, my little tricks can't fool you."
As soon as she finished speaking, the ice surrounding Ji Xiaoxiao shattered and fell to the ground with a few cracking sounds.
"You...you weren't infected," Steve exclaimed in shock.
His "Frozen Thousands of Miles" technique has always been invincible, so how could that woman be unharmed?
Ji Xiaoxiao twisted her body and shook her hands and feet, and the ice shards fell away completely.
"A mere trifle. Don't mistake me for one of those useless trash. Second place."
Second place refers to Steve.
Before the original owner was tricked into going to the Monster Forest by John and Annabella, she was always at the top of the Star City Ranking of Saint St Academy, and the person ranked below her was Steve, Annabella's fanatic.
To be honest, Ji Xiaoxiao felt a mixture of sympathy, pity, and schadenfreude towards Steve. Steve was the eldest son of the once-powerful Goldstone family, a family that had fallen from grace. He was born with powerful talents in magic and martial arts, and was once considered by his family to be their greatest hope for restoring their glory.
Steve did not disappoint his people, excelling in every aspect from childhood. But ever since he entered Saint St., no matter how hard he tried, there was always one person standing in his way: the original owner of this body—the peerless genius, Aria.
Second place! Second place!
These three words echoed in his ears like a curse. Steve flew into a rage, leaped up, and swung his sword down with unstoppable force.
Kill her, kill her, kill her, and he will be the undisputed number one.
Steve's attack was sudden and his actions completely violated chivalry, causing people to frown. Even if Alita was a traitor to St. St., he could still retaliate in kind, resorting to a despicable sneak attack. Wasn't this repeatedly tarnishing the reputation of St. St. Academy?
“Steve, stop,” Delichos said softly.
With a whoosh, Steve's sword stopped an inch from Ji Xiaoxiao's neck.
"Dean," Steve called out, "Dean, are you trying to protect Arya?"
"Steve, are you challenging me?" Derrick said unhappily.
If Steve weren't a member of St. St. Academy, Delicho would never have bothered arguing with him; she would have slapped him against the wall long ago.
Steve suddenly realized his mistake, "The student knows he was wrong."
This is one of the Three Saints, the strongest being in Atlantis, someone he can't afford to provoke.
“Steve, it’s been two years. It’s time to settle what happened back then,” Derichus said. “Go and fetch John and Annabella. Right here at the school gate of St. Stephen’s, in front of the magic pillar carved by the great King Arthur himself, let the three of them prove their innocence.”
Steve was unwilling to give up, and he snorted at Ji Xiaoxiao a few times before walking away.
An hour later, at the main gate of Saint St. Academy, the vast Radiant Plaza was packed with people, including commoners, nobles, the strong, and the weak. They jostled shoulder to shoulder, stood on tiptoe, and craned their necks to look at the center of the plaza, trying to catch a glimpse of the legendary figure.
In the center of the Radiant Plaza, there is a long table with five people sitting on it, representing three factions: the Dean of Saint St. Academy, Derichus; the nobles represented by Krivie, the patriarch of the Forsterman family, and Amelia, the patriarch of the Clavis family; and the last one, the royal family.
Three people stood opposite the long table. Ji Xiaoxiao was calm and composed, appearing completely at ease, while John and Annabella looked uneasy, as if they had done something wrong and were filled with remorse.
