"Intruders discovered! Report to Lord Danzo immediately!"

No more than three seconds after the alarm sounded, squads of Root ninjas poured out from the depths of the base. They saw Tsunade throw a large number of shuriken at them from afar.

"Damn it!"

Tsunade swept away all the hidden weapons with a single punch, her inner rage almost burning away her reason.

I'm wearing the Hokage robe and haven't even made a move yet!

Seeing the Root ninjas charging towards them, Tsunade frowned, suppressing her anger, and shouted, "I am the Hokage! Who dares to lay a hand on me!"

Tsunade thought her reputation would have some effect, but to her surprise, the Root ninjas completely ignored her and drew their swords to slash at her.

"Damn it, are you even Konoha ninjas?!"

Tsunade could no longer hold back and unleashed a powerful punch, sending several of the fastest-charging Root ninjas flying. The bodies of those Root ninjas sent flying backwards, knocking down a string of their comrades behind them. The Root ninjas themselves were dented and coughing up blood, clearly beyond saving.

"I've discovered that Danzo Shimura was secretly conducting human experiments. If you wake up now and follow me to correct the wrongs, you might receive lenient treatment..."

After defeating several of them, Tsunade tried to persuade the Root ninjas with words, but they remained unmoved, charging forward with unwavering resolve. Occasionally, a few hesitant Root ninjas would exchange glances before continuing to slash at Tsunade with their swords.

Due to the underground base environment, none of the Root ninjas chose to use ninjutsu; they all relied on throwing ninja tools or close-quarters taijutsu.

Tsunade wasn't afraid of them at all. She shouted, "You asked for this!"

Tsunade then unleashed her full power, holding the camera in her left hand and continuing to film, while her right fist, with the force of splitting mountains, pierced through squads of Root ninjas.

Tsunade hadn't explored much of the underground base yet, and she couldn't afford to continue engaging with the Root ninja. Instead, she chose to continue her investigation. After passing through the Root ninja, Tsunade charged forward, smashing through walls in her path. Each time she entered a room, she quickly filmed it with the camera in her left hand, then killed her way through the Root ninja, crashed through the walls, and entered the next room.

Tsunade wanted to take more photos of Danzo's crimes before he arrived, so that Sarutobi-sensei wouldn't stop her when she was about to kill him.

In the confined underground space, Tsunade had an absolute advantage in close combat and was virtually invincible. She smashed through people and broke through walls, fighting with great passion. The Root ninjas could hardly even slow her down.

But inside a room, Tsunade's unbridled pace suddenly came to a halt!

It was a room with walls lined with glass jars. When Tsunade smashed through the wall, many of the jars shattered, spilling a foul-smelling liquid all over the floor. Tsunade recognized the smell immediately as a secret medicine for storing human internal organs, made with many precious medicinal herbs and extremely expensive.

This room seemed to be a very important place within the Root base. The Root ninjas watched as one by one were broken into the room, clearly hesitant and timid. They wanted to rush in and pursue, but were also worried about causing secondary damage to the things inside the room.

Tsunade was very curious about what kind of experimental subject needed such precious medicinal materials for protection. She swept away the Root ninjas who were chasing after her with a punch and looked down at the ground.

This sight froze Tsunade's body. Her body trembled violently, yet she couldn't move an inch, leaving only her body's instincts to launch a counterattack.

Driven by instinct, a full-force punch sent the Root ninja who had finally caught up flying backward with a scream, resulting in another wave of deaths and injuries. This punch was much more powerful than the previous ones; the Root ninja who were sent flying exploded into a cloud of blood mist in mid-air, and the remaining corpses crashed out, causing several houses behind to collapse.

The Root ninjas behind them were stunned by the fierce punch, and for a moment they looked at each other, not daring to continue their attack. In less than three minutes of fighting, they had already lost nearly forty men. These ninjas who had been added to Root in recent years had not completely lost their emotions, so it was normal for them to hesitate.

After the Root ninja stopped their attack, Tsunade showed no reaction whatsoever; she remained staring blankly at the ground. Shock, sadness, anger, disbelief, and despair flashed across Tsunade's face, her expression incredibly complex.

"Rope Tree!"

Several seconds later, Tsunade collapsed to her knees, ignoring the glass shards that had cut her. With trembling hands, she picked up a shard of glass, on which was clearly marked in large, scarlet characters: Senju Nawaki!

Tsunade's eyes were empty and confused. She blankly examined the pieces of internal organs on the ground, wondering which of them belonged to her brother!

Then Tsunade's body trembled even more violently, and she saw two familiar names in the shards of glass on the ground: Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju!

Tsunade's body, which was fearless even when facing swords and blades, trembled like a sieve. Before her eyes appeared her younger brother Nawaki's mangled body, his internal organs blown out by explosive tags. What a cruel sight it was!

Then, she seemed to hear her two grandfathers' words of advice to her when she was a child: "When you grow up, Tsuna, you must protect Konoha well. This is a pure land on earth created by the Senju and Uchiha clans together!"

"Hehehe, hehehe!"

Tsunade numbly searched through the pile of entrails on the ground for her loved ones' parts, but to no avail. When she smashed through the wall to get in, a large number of bottles and jars were mixed together, and many fragments of wall bricks were also smashed on it. Now the entrails on the ground had been completely turned into a puddle of flesh.

Clutching a few shards of glass, Tsunade's eyes were empty and desperate. She finally understood many of the doubts and feelings of incongruity that had been lingering in her heart.

The strange gazes of the Konoha ninjas, the aloofness of the various Konoha clans, and the drunken ramblings of the Konoha villagers—all of this was so cruel.

"Shimura Danzo!"

With trembling hands, Tsunade sealed the camera back into the scroll and put it away. Then, she roared and stood up abruptly, her chakra surging, her clothes flying, and her long hair almost standing on end!

"You all should die!"

Tsunade's eyes were empty and filled with despair. She unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks, holding nothing back. In an instant, large sections of the Root ninja and the walls and rooms within the base crumbled into dust.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Dragon Technique!"

"Escape. Earth flow wall"

Faced with the god of death Tsunade, the Root ninjas were powerless to resist and ultimately had no choice but to use ninjutsu regardless of the limitations of the environment.

However, neither the raging fire dragon nor the solid earthen wall could withstand Tsunade's furious fists; instead, the flames and clods of earth that rolled back left the Root ninjas in a sorry state.

Unable to discern directions within the Root base, Tsunade had no idea where the exit was, and could only charge repeatedly towards the direction where the Root ninjas were most numerous.

Before anyone knew it, Tsunade had already reached the deepest part of the Root base, at which point Danzo finally appeared.

Before Tsunade could even make a move, Danzo preemptively accused her: "Tsunade, what are you doing causing trouble in my base!"
