After unleashing the flames, Itachi didn't linger. He drew a short sword from behind him and charged towards the spring. The short sword and the flames of the Phoenix Flower Technique worked together, the sword trailing streams of fire, instantly filling the air with fiery light.

Izumi dodged the ball of fire and clashed with Itachi's twin swords. Sparks flew as the blades collided, followed by a series of close clashes.

The swords clashing in the arena belonged to the same clan, and the fighters had once stood shoulder to shoulder, but now only coldness remained in their eyes.

Although Itachi did not gain the upper hand in the physical combat, he remained indifferent and aloof, as if he had let Izumi go.
