A new S-class student arrived in Class 10, though S-class students aren't uncommon for Class 10.
You think I can only summon one thing? In fact, I can summon many things. You think I'...
The next day.
Star Beast Headquarters.
Ai Yu opened his eyes and looked at the dark room with only dim light. He propped himself up and sat up, waiting for the person he was waiting for to come.
Although there was a small incident, it was still a pleasant surprise as it brought forward a certain plan.
There was a sound from the left. Ai Yu looked over and saw the triangle coming into her sight. "So it's you."
The alien star beast that only appeared twice before humans, Sariel, did not know. Now it seems that the one who has the power to bring the dead back to life is the triangle in front of him.
The eye in the center of the triangle stared intently at Ai Yu, as if instantly contemplating countless things. After a moment, it spoke, "I truly wish I could send you away, but unfortunately, rescuing you is an order from our Lord, so I cannot disobey."
Facing Sanjiao's words, Ai Yu raised the corner of his mouth slightly: "Then, does your Lord also want to see me?"
Triangle was silent for a while, then sighed: "Follow me."
In the corridor, every two meters or so, there is a crystal stone emitting faint light inlaid on the wall, but this cannot dispel the dim atmosphere in the passage, making the entire passage, although wide, still look a bit gloomy and depressing.
Ai Yu followed behind Sanjiao and always had a strange feeling in her heart, as if countless pairs of eyes were silently watching her.
After walking for about ten minutes, the two finally stopped in front of a huge black door.
Sanjiao stood aside and said respectfully, "Miss Ai Yu, please come in. The Lord is waiting for you inside."
Ai Yu nodded slightly, then gently reached out and pushed open the heavy door in front of her. With a dull thud on the hinges, Ai Yu stepped into the hall.
The hall's interior was unusually spacious, a stark contrast to the narrow, dark corridors outside. The lighting here was noticeably brighter, but the overall tone remained cold and somber. The hall was bare, with virtually no furnishings or decorations, save for a lone, high throne that stood out.
Ai Yu looked up towards the throne and saw a tall and upright figure standing there. His back was shrouded in a black robe, revealing an unfathomable aura.
"I'm here, Lanling." Ai Yu called softly, his voice echoing in the empty hall.
Lan Ling turned around slowly. He was estimated to be about two meters tall, and his whole body was pitch black. The black cloak on his shoulders fluttered without wind. His face was also black, with no facial features visible. Only the galaxy crown on his head was shining with charming light.
He raised his hand to wave the jade bead curtain in front of him, and lowered his head slightly, as if he was looking at Ai Yu seriously.
Their eyes met, and Lanling let out a low laugh. His voice was deep, even a little hoarse, and he was usually able to suppress it.
"Do you know why I want to see you?" Lan Ling opened his hands and calmly sat down on his throne, looking down at Ai Yu through the pearl curtain.
"You hold this position, but you treat us ants so well. It's nothing more than that you can profit from me. I know my own strength very well. I don't have the strength to beat you now, so just tell me what you want me to do." Ai Yu raised his hands and bowed to the ground.
After a long moment, Ai Yu's body grew stiff from maintaining this position. Lan Ling sighed softly, "Time is running out."
Ai Yu's eyebrows twitched: "How long?"
Lan Ling held up his face and didn't answer Ai Yu's question. He simply said, "Stand up straight, no need to bend." After a while, he smiled and said, "You have a clear understanding of yourself and are very smart. You know you should be humble in front of the strong. But you look fearless, which probably means you have the confidence to retreat safely. A mutual loss is not your goal.
Tell me, what do you want to trade with me?"
Ai Yu raised her lip slightly. "Since everyone knows the truth, I'll ask directly. First, if you're helping humanity, why resort to war? Second, is our real enemy Xila, or someone else?"
Lan Ling raised a hand: "Do you think war has only bad consequences?"
Ai Yu immediately shook his head: "Everything has its pros and cons, and war is no exception."
Lan Ling nodded. "I have a rough understanding. Violence has never ceased since the beginning of primitive society. Back then, it was a war between all against all. Gradually, tribes emerged. It became a struggle between groups. War has substantially improved the level of cooperation within human organizations."
War creates a shared destiny. Faced with life and death, people instantly set aside their differences and unite as one. In short, the history of human civilization is a process of war-driven expansion of the human cooperative order and improvement of organizational standards.
Of course, this statement may be biased, but it's clearly not something you and I should discuss right now. I regret that the remaining nations of Blue Star, even under the constant attacks of the star beasts, have yet to learn true unity. If war can't bring you together, then I can't think of a better way."
Now it was Ai Yu's turn to remain silent.
"The second question is that we have many enemies, and so do we. It's just that our interests are different. Maybe today I am still chatting and laughing with you and saving your life, but the next day, I will tear you apart and strangle you and bury your bones in the ground." Lanling raised his hand and waved.
The next moment, Ai Yu left the palace and appeared in the woods.
The goat came out from the shadows and said, "Your Majesty, you shouldn't have said so much to Eyva."
Lan Ling snapped his fingers, transforming into a handsome man in a white suit. He adjusted his tie. "How much she understands is up to her." He took the tablet handed to him by Shan Yang and reviewed the information his men had gathered. "Including this time, they've already attacked Eyva twice."
The goat rested his hands on his cane. "Yes, twice. Also, someone attacked Marcus once and was killed. Your Majesty, I think you're treating Eyva a bit too well. If she can't even handle these troubles herself, how can she stand before you?"
Lanling glanced at the goat and said, "That's not Eyva, just one of her summons."
The goat's pupils shrank, and then he was puzzled: "Then why did you, my lord, go to such great lengths?"
Lan Ling laughed a few times. "If you don't give them a warning, do you really think you can do whatever you want with whoever I like? Blue Star is our home turf, and it's not someone else's turn to act recklessly."
The goat bowed slightly and said, "Your Majesty is right. Then, shall we send all the legion commanders out now?"
"Move out. Also, have the 23rd Legion search for the main body of Eyva." He casually tossed the tablet to the goat, leaned over, propped up his chin, and closed his eyes. "That's settled."
"But... Your Majesty, if the Twenty-Three are deployed, the sea level of Blue Planet will be out of control. This is not conducive to our plan. It is better to let the Second Legion find the main body of Eyva."
"……what ever."
