A new S-class student arrived in Class 10, though S-class students aren't uncommon for Class 10.
You think I can only summon one thing? In fact, I can summon many things. You think I'...
Shan Yang was about to report the recent battle results to Lan Ling. After searching the entire base and not finding Lan Ling, Shan Yang asked Shan Cha Hua, "Where's the Lord?"
Camellia spread her hands and shook her head.
The goat tutted. "Well, let's keep an eye on the two legion commanders in Area 1. They've almost recovered. Now that Ai Yu is in Ji Palace, they can fight freely. That tall guy is really angry."
Camellia covered her lips with her hands and chuckled, waved her hand, and walked towards her room.
——
The sky was gray, with few white clouds. A man walked down the street, fair-skinned and handsome, with a smile on his lips. He seemed to be heading towards Jigong.
Lanling calculated the time accurately and stopped at the gate of Ji Palace. He looked down to check his clothes, slightly adjusted his brooch, and pressed his white suit. After confirming that he was in good condition, his eyes fell on the students of Ji Palace who were coming out one after another.
Many people noticed the handsome man in the white suit and talked about him in low voices.
Lanling didn't care much about it and focused on finding Ai Yu's face.
Ai Yu came out with Qian Cheng and Zhao Fugui. Looking at the men on either side of Ai Yu, Lan Ling frowned slightly: "Ai Yu."
Ai Yu looked up at Lan Ling and tilted his head: "Ah...you..."
Lan Ling smiled faintly: "Do you still remember me?"
Ai Yu walked over to Lan Ling and stood in front of him: "Yeah."
Qian Cheng was very confused: "Ai Yu, who is this?"
Ai Yu answered truthfully, "One, very good one, big brother." She smiled at Lan Ling and said, "Long time no see."
Lan Ling nodded: "Long time no see. I want to talk to you alone, is that okay, Ai Yu?"
"Yeah." Ai Yu gave all the things to Qian Cheng. "Brother and I are going out to talk. I'll take a taxi back later."
Qian Cheng's brows never relaxed: "Ai Yu, are you sure he is a good person?"
"Yeah." Ai Yu nodded, "Don't worry about me, I'm very capable."
"Okay, remember to come back early."
"Um."
The two found a coffee shop and sat down. Listening to soothing music, Lan Ling relaxed and stirred the coffee in front of him. "How are you doing lately?"
"It's good." Ai Yu held her milk, took a big sip, and smiled.
Lan Ling nodded calmly: "You didn't smile much before."
Ai Yu tilted her head and looked at Lan Ling: "Why did you suddenly want to come to me?"
"Isn't tomorrow New Year's Day? I wanted to have a few drinks with you." Lan Ling showed a worried look, "But from the look of you, it seems that you are not in the mood to accompany me, your brother."
Ai Yu thought for a moment and said, "Sure, I'll just tell Qian Cheng."
"Look at him, he seems to cherish you very much. You know, he would not agree if you came out alone to drink with a strange older brother." Lan Ling held up his face, his beautiful eyes, so tender that people could easily fall in love with them. "Ai Yu, you have become much more cheerful and gradually become like a normal person."
"Um."
Lan Ling sighed softly: "This is a good thing, but I don't know why I can't be happy."
"Why?"
"Nothing. Just for today, have a few drinks with me."
"good."
The two of them moved from the cafe to the bar. Sitting at the counter, Lanling swirled his drink and couldn't help but sigh, "I'm afraid we won't have many opportunities to drink together in the future. I heard that the guys from the 30th Legion have increased their attack frequency quite a bit. How about I recite a poem for you?"
"good."
"Beacon fires ignite the night, horses' hooves stir as five hundred light cavalrymen crush the enemy camp and break free. Triumphant drums blare in my ears, and I marvel at his remarkable achievements. Riding on his majestic steed, his sword aura soars, his heart cares for the people and their livelihoods. For whom does his soul mourn? Listening to the song and dance of silk strings, chanting the eternal hymn, Prince Lanling holds the sky high.
Sighing the passing of the river, the loneliness of the evening mountain, the cold moon shines sadly on the wild ferry, and the lonely star wants to tell a story. Condensed dew, I quote poetry. Thinking of the centuries of wind and smoke, tears fall like streams, and countless dragon descendants are bullied. I hate the return of the proud, and the corruption of the demons and monsters. Now in danger, I dare to ask who will defend the border.
Ai Yu searched his brain but couldn't find any information about this poem: "Did you write this?"
Lan Ling burst out laughing: "Guess."
The two looked at each other for a moment, Ai Yu narrowed his eyes and said, "If you didn't write it, what's it called?"
"I just read an article and thought it was interesting, so I wrote it down." Lan Ling poked Ai Yu's forehead, "Don't trust your brain too much."
Ai Yu pursed her lips: "I don't have any."
Lan Ling finished the wine in his glass and asked the bartender to try his hand at mixing the new wine. He then pushed the new wine towards Ai Yu and said, "Try it."
Ai Yu gulped down the drink. Lan Ling asked, "How does it feel?"
Ai Yu shook her head: "I don't feel anything."
Lan Ling tutted, "You little girl, you don't know how to drink."
"Then why did you want to drink with me?"
Lanling shook the ice cubes in the cup, and the ice cubes hit the wall of the cup, making a crisp tinkling sound: "I like drinking with you. The feeling of drinking with you is different from the feeling of drinking with others." His overly beautiful face showed a hint of charm at this moment, bewitching Ai Yu to look at his face.
"Ai Yu, what do you think of me?"
"fine."
Lan Ling laughed so hard he fell backwards. He held his stomach and looked at Ai Yu with his head tilted to his side. "How are your classmates? Are they treating you well? Are you eating well?"
"Yeah." Zhao Liu'er chirped in her ear on time every day.
Lan Ling reached out and pinched Ai Yu's face. It was indeed more voluptuous than before. He withdrew his hand and looked at the dazzling array of goods behind the bar, crossing his fingers. "You've gained some weight, which is good. You were too thin before."
