Lu Tao and his team had no time to celebrate after successfully uncovering the secrets of the old hospital. Their investigation had just begun, and there were more mysteries waiting for them to solve.

The police investigation into the illegal experiments at the old hospital went smoothly, but Lu Tao always felt that things were not that simple. He had a hunch that there must be a bigger conspiracy behind it.

They returned to the old hospital to look for more clues. The hospital had been sealed off by the police, but they still managed to sneak in quietly.

The hospital looked even more eerie at night. In the darkness, they could only rely on the light of flashlights. Lu Tao and his team carefully walked through the hospital corridors.

Suddenly, Xiao Yang stopped and asked, "Did you hear that?"

They fell silent, and only faint breathing sounds could be heard in the darkness.

"Someone is nearby!" Xiao Yang whispered.

They held the flashlights tightly in their hands and walked cautiously in the direction of the sound.

The flashlight illuminated a dilapidated ward, where a figure lay on the bed, his back to them, seemingly asleep.

Lu Tao signaled everyone to be careful, and they slowly approached the bed. As they approached, the person on the bed suddenly turned around.

When they saw the man's face clearly, they were surprised to find that he was the doctor who was being hunted!

"Why are you still here?" Lu Tao asked in surprise.

A faint smile appeared on the doctor's pale face. "Do you think you can easily uncover the secrets of the old hospital?"

Xiao Yang nervously grasped the flashlight in his hand: "Who are you? Why are you stopping us?"

The doctor slowly stood up, a hint of madness in his eyes: "I am the creator of this experiment, of course I will not let you destroy my results."

Lu Tao frowned. "How many innocent people have suffered as a result of your experiments? And you still have the nerve to talk about your results?"

The doctor sneered, "What do you mortals know? The medicine I developed can allow humans to transcend life and death and achieve eternal life!"

Xiao Yang couldn't believe his ears. "Eternal life? What do you think this is? A reward for the game?"

The madness on the doctor's face became even more obvious: "You don't understand. Only in this way can humans truly transcend themselves and become the masters of the universe!"

Lu Tao took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down: "You are really crazy. Your experiment is illegal. You will definitely pay the price."

The doctor sneered and shook his head: "You underestimate me too much. I have made preparations. Even if you reveal the secret of the old hospital, you can't stop my plan."

He suddenly pulled out a bottle of potion from his pocket and smirked: "I have hidden the drug samples here. As long as I give the order, they will be spread all over the world."

Lu Tao and his team were stunned. They didn't expect that the doctor had made such thorough preparations.
