Chapter 121: Resurrection of Mu Yaxi

Luo Youyou looked around worriedly. It was a vast desert with endless sand dunes. Apart from the sand whistling in the wind, all she could see was blue sky and white clouds. Even if the vampires were fast, they wouldn't be able to escape the desert in just over an hour.

"You wait for me here." Luo Youyou said and disappeared from the desert. When he came back, he took out a few backpacks from his small bag. There were tents and blood in the backpacks.

"I'll come back to find you after I save Mu Yaxi." After Luo Youyou settled everything down, he took the magic wand and left with peace of mind.

She first came to the ancient castle to find Jiayi. She didn't know how to use the magic wand and had to get Jiayi's help.

When Jiayi saw Luo Youyou suddenly appear at the gate of the castle, he was not too surprised, but he was surprised by the way she appeared. Then he narrowed his eyes and looked at the magic wand in her hand thoughtfully.

"You must be tired from the journey. Take a rest first." Jiayi smiled and said lightly.

When Luo Youyou saw that long-lost hypocritical face, she wanted to tear off the hypocritical mask. She did not move forward, "I need the method to activate the spirit staff. Save Mu Yaxi and it will be yours."

She held the magic wand tightly in her hand, as if she was afraid that Jiayi would change his mind and suddenly take it away.

Jia Yi was a little annoyed by her defensive action, but he suppressed his anger and suddenly said, "Is this the only one?"

"Ah? There are two spirit wands?" This time it was Luo Youyou's turn to be speechless. If two spirit wands were required to use it, then her trip would have been in vain.

Jia Yi carefully examined her expression, and seeing that she wasn't putting on a show, he shook his head. "I'm asking, is this the only holy weapon you've got?"

"Nonsense, we're only taking this one route this time. We don't even know where the other holy artifacts are. I'll just grab another one for you wherever I go." Luo Youxian showed an annoyed look, paused, and then said, "Don't worry, I won't break my promise to you, and I hope you won't break your promise either. Save Mu Yaxi first."

Jiayi still narrowed his eyes and looked at her for a long time. After making sure that she was not lying, he called a duke of the Xinmoor tribe and asked him to take Luo Youyou to rescue people.

After Luo Youyou left, You Lun appeared in the castle's lobby. He said thoughtfully, "This girl can teleport without the help of the Blood Key. It's incredible."

The Blood Key is one of the thirteen sacred artifacts of the blood clan. Whoever possesses it can perform spatial transfer, but You Lun just carefully examined Luo Youyou in the dark, and there seemed to be no aura of the Blood Key on her.

"Send someone to follow her. Report any situation at any time." Jiayi immediately put away his forced smile and said in a cold voice.

"Yes!" Someone answered in the dark and walked out.

Luo Youyou followed the Duke to the hospital freezer and opened the freezer where Mu Yaxi was. Her face was pale, covered with a layer of frost. She looked like a sleeping ice princess.

Luo Youyou's fingers slid across her hard, cold body and she said softly, "Ya Xi. I'm back."

Duke Xinmoer glanced at Mu Yaxi indifferently, then turned to Luo Youyou and said, "You go out first. I'll take her out to find you later."

Luo Youyou knew that the Duke was afraid that she had secretly learned how to use the spirit staff, so she obediently left. Since Jiayi was willing to send him, he would not do anything to harm Mu Yaxi.

After waiting for a while, the door creaked open. When she turned around, she saw Mu Yaxi's long-lost face. Although it looked pale and weak, she saw those familiar little expressions between his eyebrows. Luo Youyou could no longer hold back the tears she had suppressed for a long time and hugged Mu Yaxi and cried bitterly.

Mu Yaxi patted her back comfortingly, "It's okay, it's okay. It seemed like I was really dead, but now I'm alive again."

"I'm really afraid that I won't be able to get back in time, that something will go wrong, and that I'll never see you again..." Luo Youyou kept talking while crying. She no longer had the fortitude, stubbornness, and indomitable spirit she had before. Now she was only left with fragility.

"Alright, alright, you've watched too many Qiong Yao dramas. There are so many parallel sentences, it's so corny! It's not too late to cry when that day really comes." Mu Yaxi helped Luo Youyou wipe away her tears. "Tsk tsk, I'm really not used to seeing you cry."

Luo Youyou finally wiped away her tears, wiped her face carelessly, pinched Mu Yaxi's body with her fingers, and asked with concern, "How do you feel now? Do you feel uncomfortable?"

Mu Yaxi quickly knocked Luo Youyou's hand away and escaped from her clutches, frowning and saying, "You're almost crushing me with such strength."

Luo Youyou also realized that she was too excited and forgot to control her strength, and smiled apologetically.

Mu Yaxi shook his head and said with emotion, "It was like a dream, it passed very quickly. As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw you back, as if nothing had happened."

The blood on Mu Yaxi's body had long since dried up, turning a dark red, but it was still shocking. However, looking through the torn clothes, the wound was indeed healed.

"The secret party has done what it promised, and I should go back to report." The Duke said expressionlessly. Luo Youyou found that the staff in his hand was no longer a discarded iron rod. It was shining like it was coated with a layer of gold. The surface was no longer mottled, but replaced by an exquisitely carved totem.

Luo Youyou nodded and said, "I'll be back later."

The Duke didn't say anything and just left without looking back.

"I feel really hungry." Mu Yaxi said while touching his stomach.

The two men listened to Mu Yaxi's stomach rumbling in protest and walked out of the hospital while laughing, as if nothing had changed, and as if everything had changed.
