Chapter 129: Sacrificing Blood to Save

"Ya Xi, throw a grenade, destroy the tunnel, and buy time!" Jing Yan turned around and said anxiously.

Mu Yaxi pulled a grenade from his waist and threw it backwards with all his strength. There was a loud "boom", and the earth and rocks flew around, covering the tunnel behind them. Then came the sound of werewolves digging stones. If they were a step later, they would have to confront the werewolves.

Jing Yan accurately found the half-covered rock wall, but just as his palm touched the rock wall, there was a "bang" and the rock wall collapsed. Yuri, who was standing opposite, had a half-smile on his face, but when he saw Luo Youyou lying weakly on Jing Yan's body, his pair of green eyes became cold. He snatched Luo Youyou from Jing Yan without saying a word and carried her steadily on his back.

Jing Yan's back suddenly felt empty, but it was not just his back that felt empty, but also his heart that felt empty. He looked at Yuri's back awkwardly. Yuri did not look back, but carried Luo Youyou on his back and ran straight into the depths of the tunnel.

"The revolution has not yet succeeded, comrades still need to work hard!" Mu Yaxi patted Jing Yan's shoulder meaningfully, but with a sly smile on his face, he walked around Jing Yan to chase Yuri.

Jing Yan watched Mu Yaxi running breathlessly, but he couldn't even see Yuri's back. He suddenly rushed over and carried Mu Yaxi, and said with a smirk, "This is the price you pay for gloating."

"Ah~" Mu Yaxi screamed and pounded Jing Yan's back, shouting "Put me down!"

"What's wrong with Yaxi?" Mu Long's anxious voice came from the headset.

"Ah," Mu Yaxi suddenly realized that everyone could hear what they were saying, so she pretended to be calm and said, "It's okay, it's okay." Then she comforted herself in her heart that it was better this way, she didn't have to exert any effort, so she leisurely lay on Jing Yan's shoulder and looked at the display screen in her hand.

Mu Yaxi had been riding in the car for a long time when it suddenly braked, nearly causing her to drop the monitor. Just as she was about to explode, she turned around and saw Yuri and Luo Youyou also standing there, already in fighting stances. Looking further ahead, she saw a massive black mass, the entire tunnel completely blocked off.

Mu Yaxi jumped up from Jing Yan's shoulder and angrily pointed at the headset, "What's going on? How come no one noticed with so many people?"

"Both sides were moving too fast. They collided just as they noticed each other." Mu Long could no longer maintain his composure. He paced back and forth, headset in hand, watching the screen.

Mu Yaxi strapped the display screen back to his wrist, drew his two swords, bent his legs, and took a lunge stance. He glanced at Luo Youyou's wound from the corner of his eye and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that the wound had healed.

Looking at Yuri and Jing Yan again, their nails were already as long as swords. Both sides were currently staring at each other, as if assessing each other's strength, neither of them making the first move.

The werewolves were numerous, and the two vampires here, one human and one unidentified, were vastly outmatched in strength. Even though Yuri had lived for six thousand years, his encounters with werewolves were few and far between. He hadn't always been able to gain the upper hand.

The werewolves, despite their large numbers, did not dare to act rashly. The fact that they had successfully abducted someone from the heavily guarded Royal Prison and escaped so far away showed their strength was not to be underestimated. This fact was before their eyes, making them wary.

Unconsciously, fine beads of sweat had seeped out of Luo Youyou's forehead. The beads of sweat became more and more, gathering into a strand that drew a beautiful arc along her smooth skin and fell into the soil under her feet, carrying a faint scent of Mansa Zhuhua.

"Jing Yan and Yuri will be responsible for the fight and delay them. Ya Xi and the young lady will blow up a passage in the back and return to Line 2. There is no one on Line 2 now. The enemies are concentrated in the werewolf tunnel. The enemies behind will catch up soon. You must hurry up and can't confront them anymore." Mu Long made a quick decision and spoke in a low voice in the headset.

The communicator is smaller than a grain of rice and cannot be heard unless it is put into the ear, but that is only limited to humans. Although Mu Long lowered his voice, if both parties' attention was not focused on each other, and there were not so many people and the breathing was not noisy, the werewolf would still catch any clues.

Luo Youyou quickly communicated with everyone out of the corner of her eye, and received three affirmative looks. Luo Youyou nodded slightly, and Jing Yan suddenly pulled out a grenade from his waist and threw it into the middle of the werewolf army. There was a loud bang, and the entire tunnel shook, followed by a rumbling sound. The sound of earth and rocks falling to the ground and the wailing of the werewolves mixed together.

The tunnel suddenly became chaotic, with flying dust and blurring people's vision. At the same time, Luo Youyou and Mu Yaxi turned around at the same time. Luo Youyou took out a grenade and threw it into the tunnel behind him, blocking the way of the pursuers, while Mu Yaxi threw a grenade at the wall next to him.

As Mu Yaxi's grenade exploded, the four people bent down and squatted on the ground at the same time to avoid the exploded stones. The werewolves were completely unprepared. The flying stones were extremely fast and hit the werewolves' bodies, cutting their skin as sharp as knives.

Accompanied by another round of screams and an order from the werewolf captain, those werewolves who could still stand rushed forward. This pair of people seemed to have been sent here temporarily. They were not equipped with sophisticated weapons. Some of them held swords, and only a few of them held pistols.

Jing Yan chose an assault rifle. He pulled the trigger and used his ears to carefully identify the position of the werewolf. He fired a shot and a werewolf fell to the ground, but quickly stood up again. The bullet grazed the werewolf's abdomen. Although it was a silver bullet, it did not remain in the werewolf's body, so it had no lethality.

Yuri turned and ran deep into the tunnel. Luo Youyou was chiseling the rock wall with a dagger. Mu Yaxi was originally trying to help, but he found that his sword could only cut off some rock chips, and the entire rock remained motionless. So he lay on the ground with a rifle and helped Jing Yan block the werewolves and prevent them from getting close.
