An accident awakened her abilities. Is she human, a psychic, or a vampire?
Who says hunters are natural enemies? Who says werewolves are born foes?
Watch her tame spirit beasts, manage ...
As the paper burned out, Jiayi unexpectedly pushed open the door. A burning smell filled the bedroom. He smiled "friendly" and glanced at everyone. He glanced at the charred black mass on the table and said as if he didn't see it, "What are you talking about so happily?"
Mu Yaxi glared at him and said, "Don't you know how to knock on the door before entering someone else's room?"
Jiayi's smile froze, but the corners of his mouth continued to maintain an impeccable curve, only adding a hint of sarcasm, "To be exact, all the rooms here are mine."
"So this is how the Secret Party Prince entertains his guests." Luo Youyou retorted, but spoke slowly.
Jiayi couldn't hold back his smile. He held their gaze for a moment, then finally gave in. He raised the corner of his mouth again, handed them the newspaper in his hand, and placed it on the table, just enough to cover the charred mass. "The clue to the ghost lantern."
"Don't even let people have a few days' rest!" Luo Youyou glanced at the newspapers with disgust. Many of them had turned yellow and old, looking quite old, and emitting a musty smell.
"After you find everything, you are free to rest as long as you want." Jiayi's smile made Luo Youyou want to go up and tear his hypocritical face apart, but she finally held back and picked up a newspaper, which was considered a compromise, but it was also obvious that she was trying to drive him away.
Jia Yi knew he was unwelcome here. The four people sitting here were not his people. He didn't want to bother with them. He turned and walked towards the door. But before closing the door, he turned his back to them and said, "Don't play tricks on me. No matter how strong you are, you can't be stronger than the hunting order of the entire secret party."
After saying that, he slammed the door shut, leaving them with the illusion of a cold wind.
They absolutely believed that Jiayi had the ability to stop the Lesomba tribe from hunting them, to remove the werewolf's wanted order for Langbai, and of course to incite the secret party and the werewolves to strangle them completely. With just the four of them, this was definitely no joke.
The pursuit of the Lesamba tribe had forced Mu Yaxi to lie in the freezer for three months, and he almost lost his life. Now with the arrival of the secret party and the werewolf alliance, they probably wouldn't survive the next day.
Luo Youyou made a face at the closed door, venting her dissatisfaction, and then dissatisfiedly distributed the newspaper to others, "See which one is more reliable."
They spent the entire day hiding in Mu Yaxi's room, reading the newspaper. The newspaper contained a collection of oddities from around the world that Jia Yi had collected. He had drawn some information that seemed to be related to the holy artifact, so the thick newspaper didn't take long to finish.
"I think this is more similar. The sailors who passed through this sea area all had hallucinations and jumped into the sea, which is more consistent with the ghost light." Luo Youyou's slender fingers fell on a newspaper with a more recent date and circled a report.
"This is unreliable. The bottom of the sea in Talsi is exactly where the mermaid palace is located. What they are best at is using singing to confuse sailors. Let them jump into the sea." Yuri shook his head and rejected Luo Youyou's point of view.
"Look here," Luo Youyou pointed to a line of words. "Experienced sailors later had their crews wear noise-canceling headphones when passing through that area, so they wouldn't be misled by the singing. Why did they still jump into the sea?"
"That makes sense." Lang Bai nodded.
"Yoshi!" Luo Youyou snapped his fingers. "We'll leave for Talsi tonight. Jiayi, prepare a cruise ship for us. Remember, it has to be luxurious!"
Jiayi heard Luo Youyou's voice in his room and was so angry that his mouth twitched. Yuri was also twitching. No matter how he looked at it, he felt that Luo Youyou was not going to look for Gui Lantern, but was going on a trip. And a luxurious trip at that.
The Ghost Lantern, also known as the Lantern, is one of the Thirteen Sacred Artifacts. Its light can cause hallucinations and control behavior. While not as cruel as the Angel's Thorn, it can be equally deadly in the wrong hands, often killing people unknowingly and creating the illusion of suicide.
Before leaving, Mu Yaxi once again displayed her tycoon spirit and swept through almost all the major shopping malls in Shuncheng, buying clothes, shoes, cosmetics and even perfumes, as well as various snacks. She even bought a few quilts and pillows and stuffed them all into Luo Youyou's bag.
As night fell, Mu Yaxi took a comfortable hot bath and chose a black tight skirt with a deep V back. Her orange-dyed hair had faded a little, but even though she hadn't been to the barber shop, her hair, which was neither yellow nor black, turned into a shiny bright orange again.
She wore a pair of ten-centimeter high heels, a crystal bracelet on her wrist, her hair draped softly behind her, and she wore a light and thick makeup. It was obvious that she had put on makeup, but the makeup looked comfortable and not artificial.
Finally, I sprayed a little perfume on the back of my neck and wrists, looked left and right in the mirror, and then walked out of the room with satisfaction.
Everyone was waiting in the living room. When she came down the stairs, she brought with her a faint fragrance, a mix of the rich scent of flowers and the freshness of fruits. They were all stunned for a moment.
Only Yue Shenxun snorted coldly, "Are you going to the beauty pageant or are you going to fight for your life?"
Mu Yaxi stuck out her tongue at her, and Luo Youyou's face was full of black lines. Compared to Mu Yaxi, Yue Shenxun's gorgeousness could only be said to be even more gorgeous. Both of them were dressed as if they were going to a banquet, but Luo Youyou just casually put on a T-shirt and denim shorts which were convenient for combat.
"We must always remember the joy that life gives us and the rights we have as women." Mu Yaxi raised her chin and said proudly.
Luo Youyou covered her mouth to prevent herself from spitting out what she said. Her words were true and quite Zen-like, but Zen had nothing to do with Mu Yaxi at all and looked ridiculous no matter how you looked at it.
