Golden specks of light floated from their bodies, drifted into the sky, and gradually disappeared into the horizon.

Meanwhile, Ethan watched helplessly as one device after another was rapidly filled.

Not having a premonition enough, they hurriedly rushed to create some more.

Seeing so many devices gradually filling up should have been a cause for celebration, but for some reason, Ethan felt something was off.

This world seems a little strange.

But Ethan didn't know what was wrong, so he could only suppress his inexplicable unease.

The completely filled devices were piled up into a small mountain, and the event, in which all the superpowered individuals participated and contributed their power, slowly came to an end.

Ethan was uncertain. Maybe it was enough, but they still needed to find their last companion, the Frenchwoman, Ms. Bertha.

After discussing it with their companions, they all felt it was about time, so they decided to start their journey again.

After saying goodbye to Reena and the others in this world, Ethan and his companions quickly disappeared into the portal.

Ternas was the last one to go in.

He took a deep look at Tenas and Reena before stepping into the portal, then looked at Nadia waving goodbye before turning and disappearing into the portal.

Reena picked up her coffee and took a sip without looking up, still wearily looking at the documents.

Something must have struck a nerve with Nadia, because she suddenly snapped out of her daze and sat bolt upright, as if on the verge of death: "No way! You've all been working for half a month, sleeping only ten hours a night for three days straight. I'm not going to let you outdo me! Tenas! I want coffee too!"

“Then you’ll need to sleep in tomorrow. We’re used to it, but you’re not.” Tenas shrugged, picked up the sugar jar from the tray, threw a few sugar cubes into one of his coffee cups, stirred it with a coffee spoon to dissolve the sugar in the hot coffee, and after stirring for a while, he put it on the table in front of the sofa: “70% sugar.”

Nadia picked it up and started drinking, her drowsiness slowly subsiding.

Tenas yawned, his eyes welling up with tears from sleepiness.

He sat down next to Nafia, sipping his coffee and racking his brains for work, trying to figure out how to handle the situation and clear his head.

If they are at least under the government's supervision, that would be better. Although they would be restricted in various places, society would be more tolerant of them. At least not everyone who has lost their abilities would treat the supervised superhumans as criminals.

Although their rights are still weaker than those of ordinary people, at least they no longer have to run around and live in fear like before.

The government has even established a special team to capture people with superpowers. As long as a person with superpowers shows any danger, the capture team will use all means to subdue or deal with them on the spot, and all kinds of weapons can be deployed.

However, I quite like the post-apocalyptic world setting, and I might even write some side stories about what happens after the series ends.
