The Things About Me Transmigrating into a Vampire

An African college student transmigrates into a vampire. He initially wants to live a carefree life but ends up becoming a powerful minister supporting the dragon.

This tells the story of a v...

I will take you back at fifty.

"Sir?" Yun Zhe grinned; this was the first time he'd heard this form of address from them. He couldn't help but feel a little emotional.

"Just because you called me 'sir,' I, Yun Zhe, will definitely bring you back safely!" Yun Zhe made up his mind, and a happy smile spread across his face.

"It's nothing major. I've already figured out how to leave here safely. Of course, we still need to do some preparation for a safe departure. First, everyone, work hard tonight and make as many dummies as possible. Tomorrow, we'll put them all at the camp fence. Then, Gao, you'll lead your men to guard the right side of the camp during the day, and I'll go to the left. I'll draw you a diagram of the defense later. Finally, everyone except those guarding the camp should prepare to pile any extra supplies and vehicles into the tents during the day. Tomorrow, on my command, we'll pour fuel on them. Does everyone understand?"

With each suggestion Yun Zhe made, the crowd nodded and cheered, especially the last one, which everyone unanimously guessed involved using a large fire to stop the pursuers. The crowd discussed it animatedly, all agreeing that the plan was feasible. The surrounding area was filled with dense forest; once the fire started, they would certainly suffer greatly.

“There’s more good news,” Gao suddenly stood up, “The Earl and Lord Paz have already set off for the border to meet us.” At this, everyone applauded and cheered.

Yun Zhe clapped his hands happily, but he quickly leaned close to Gao and whispered, "Is that true?"

Gao nodded. "You didn't take the scroll with you when you went out. I saw the scroll glowing when I passed by, so I took a look." With that, Gao took out the scroll and handed it to Yun Zhe.

The message simply stated, "We'll meet you at the border."

Yun Zhe frowned slightly after reading it. He had been somewhat angry at the time, so he hadn't contacted them again. However, he had considered their possible options. One was to go directly to Donic City. Although this indicated they had completely abandoned him, Yun Zhe felt it was the most likely choice they would make. The other option was more idealistic: they had a hundred cavalrymen, divided into two groups, chasing and cutting down the infantry. If the infantry dared to prepare for battle, they would avoid it. If they retreated, they would have to endure the cavalry's harassment. This repeated process would surely destroy their morale and confuse their judgment. If they were clever, they could buy him more time.

The second one is too idealistic. Even if I were to personally go to the battlefield, I probably wouldn't be able to control the timing perfectly.

For him, their first option was a poor choice, while for the Earl it was the best option. The second option was the exact opposite. But to Yun Zhe's surprise, they chose a middle ground.

Yun Zhe couldn't tell who made the decision, but it was ultimately a good one for him.

Yun Zhe looked up, smiled at Gao, and continued to gnaw on a piece of mutton. Gao smiled back and took a big gulp of beer.

"The strategy is set, now it's up to tomorrow's variables," Yun Zhe thought to himself as he looked around at the joyful crowd, chewing on his mutton.
